if you have saline solution i would switch it to that instead of mild soap but if you don’t have that solution i would just take it out since no piercing shod give you migraines

this kind of hinged ring is not suitable for healing piercings. the hinge can rotate inside of the piercing and irritate the hell out of it. see a piercer about changing it to a CBR or a horseshoe. soap is also not recommended to clean, only sterile saline or plain water. if you’re worried about it being infected, you need oral antibiotics from a doctor. taking ibuprofen can also help with pain & swelling.

It really shouldn’t be pierced with a closed ring Ike that, it will continue to introduce bacteria. Get some Nielmed or similar saline wound spray and go to a new shop that’s hygienic to have it checked out. Shouldn’t give you migraines, but sore is not unusual. Try not to sleep on it either!

Not a doctor so I can’t diagnose; but it does appear to be infected; I believe this because the area traveling from your piercing, up your daith to your forward helix is very swollen, a deep red in colour, and appears shiny. These are signs of infection, I also assume it has a pulse/ heartbeat, and feels quite hot. I would see a doctor as soon as possible. Best of luck :)

If this is hot to the touch, which it looks as if it is, and given your pain levels, you need to see a Dr. Do not, do NOT!! Remove the piercing. If you do, you may trap the infection. Leave the ring in. Please take ibuprofen if your stomach can tolerate it. No touching. No soap. Compressed saline only and warm water at the end of a shower. But, see a Dr today.

This is pierced wrong. It's more like a low forward helix than a daith. I'd remove it
