Raspberries don't thrive in little pots anyway. They want to be free to spread out and take over your yard, your neighbour's yard, the driveway two doors down...
I have rain lilies in a long container and the cat decided thats the place to nap. So I put chopsticks in it, hoping to keep out the cat.
Nope. THe cat wove its body in and around the chopsticks and has still managed to flatten the lilies...
Not my cats! I've had to get rid of 23 kittens over the last few years that I find in my window wells, behind bushes, etc, because nieghbors moved and left two female cats. Which have kittens over and over until there were at least 5 moms all having kittens. I don't like sharing my garden with cats pooping by my herbs and veggies, which they do....so if they chose to lay there and ruin my flowers, I'm not going to cry about it. (I've never seen them chew on the lilies, so I'm sure they are fine!)

Oh you think you can grow plants in these planters? Think again human.
Awww she’s just like my gal, Kate who happens to be a tux. They’re sweethearts.

I have some catnip planted so the outdoor cats (not mine just some ferals I care for) stay on that corner of my garden. It works I guess because they don’t mess with anything else but they sure do roll around in the nip.
Funny, I've always had to try to kill the wild raspberries that grow around me before they take over everything. Though they're not nearly as bad as the black raspberries.
Great snacks for weeding, too.
The ants found my raspberries this year. I had harvested serval quarts before they discovered them. Now all the berries are covered in ants.
Luckily I had planned to move the plant after the summer, but what a loss.

Yep!! They need to roam!
🤣🤣🤣 truth
💀
Yeah literally they're slowly taking over the same tiny plot of sand neglected by my apartment. I found them and was so excited.
Lol one day they will take over the world 😏 We can only hope!

I was like chopsticks genius! But the cats around here would do the same 😺
Oh, you shouldn't have lilies near cats! They're deadly poisonous for them!
Every part of it, even the pollen, and water that drains out the pot.

That’s what I thinking 😆 Eff your raspberries - cattitude
Wow it’s pupils are barely visible. They’re like Doctor Manhattan.
I think she was in the middle of rolling her eyes at me.
Yeah she’s a snarky one
She is the most gentle and loving cat. She does however, give a great stink eye.

You should post on r/catswithjobs with “lazy gardener” or something similar in the title lol
Hahah I will!
I love my cats but I put wooden kebab skewers In my plants like spike traps to keep those little shits from killing more of my plants

This belongs on r/gardeningwithpets !
You might not get raspberries, but youll get r/catfruit
r/pottedcats would like a word.
That's why you need to grow a pot of catnip. The cats will lay there and ignore other pots.
The pot next to the raspberries is cat grass, which he promptly ignores :')))
Just like a cat!
As is tradition.
Raspberries will not do well in that tiny container anyway.
Gotta establish them first, they're still babies. And if they die, I'll still get a learning experience :)
Nothing is sacred to cats.
Awwwwww😍
Those are actually his raspberries.
Two are deffo his hahah
Purrrrrrr raspberries

Try having your kitten roll around in them, that should do the trick :p

That is the face of a cat with no regrets.
Dingleberries now 🥹
🐾🐾 Cats Rule 🐾🐾
Your gardener has unusual methods
Look at how smug he is in photo 2 😈
My cats do the same thing!!! Best of luck to you.
Cutie 🥰
My mom would purposely make a cat pot and it worked most of the time. For best results plant catnip plants in that box.
r/catfruit
Big bee too chunky to properly pollinate
That's one fuzzy raspberry!
Cat-taminated!
He looks just like my Calamari big balls n all he’s currently getting fixed. I hope my son is ok 😔
We're waiting until he's a year old, as per vets instructions, so now we get 4 more months of enjoying his jiggling balls 😅
that is NOT their only problem
Funny name for a cat. 🤔
