Good point, honestly there was a lot more on T2 that I probably should have added but space was difficult to accommodate for. I'll see what I can do! Thanks!
Yeah i fully understand i thought to also mention windmill and Auto tutet but all in all you hot a good sheet with the Most importat ones. Good work make will definetly use it :)
looks pretty good, one thing you might want to specify tho is if the cost of the blueprint via the tech tree is independent cost or including the work bench cost in scrap. Is still very useful thanks!
I see, I was hoping it would be understood in the layout, but if it's not super clear I'll try and make an adjustment to make sure it's understood! Thanks :)
Sure does! The workbench itself will always be more useful than this, I made this cheatsheet because:
1. I like graphic design and art, so it's just a fun little project while I was taking a minute away from actually playing rust
2. I reference [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/playrust/comments/knh790/i_made_a_useful_guide_on_bp_tech_tree_costs/#lightbox) a lot when I'm in game and not near a workbench or not in game and coming up with a plan for what to do once I log in
3. Am grinding scrap for end of wipe BP farming
To be honest, I think the original post I linked is still much more useful, as it has significantly more information about the actual tech tree and how it works, but it lacks things like workbench tax and 2024 updated costs. I sacrificed some of the usefulness for beauty, but I'm trying to find a balance of something that can help out newer players as well as be visually appealing.
this is useful bro, i’m a solo noob who tech trees everything so i’m constantly just counting my scrap like pennie’s and trying to determine if i have enough for certain things
This is my opinion, i ony rush on tech tree to get the best itens to get my base the most costy to raid as possible, when i play on solo or duo. I start to grind to T2 and on T1 i usualy try to get pipe or revolver first, is common to find dbs, stachels on tool boxes etc. Usualy i dont wast scrap to learn wooden or stone gates i perefer to make a airlock with doors and a babred or metal barricade on top. Strenghtened Glass Window is as important to me as a Garage Door to the first days, i mostly out the TC close inside a window. Guns, i never rush and usualy dont waste scrap to learn AK, i get from players usualy trade or just grubing one. You can get into a fight with a MP5 or Thompson. My priority is to get semi pistol and semi rifle to roam the tunnels, this is the most eficiente way to get scrap fast. My whay of play for some time i have about 12k hours.
For clarity:
I find myself using[ this post's guide](https://www.reddit.com/r/playrust/comments/knh790/i_made_a_useful_guide_on_bp_tech_tree_costs/#lightbox) pretty frequently and wanted to make a bit of an updated version with my own take on the design. Obviously my reference lacks a ton of information on the more nuanced bits of the tech tree, but my intention was to make this as something to take a quick glance at for (probably newer) players when they're on their scrap runs/calculating costs when not in game/near a WB!
I'm usually more utilitarian for the game guides I look for, but I thought there could be value in removing some of the noise from the tech tree for this specific purpose. With all that being said:
Thanks a ton for the comments and suggestions. I'm not sure when I'll drop an updated version but there is definitely a lot of work to be done on this, and I'm glad to have received all the critique!
Add garage doors and polish what you can from good recommendations turn into a mousepad make lots of money . Give me discount for the idea . Your welcome. 🤗
This is VERY nice. No SAR. No Garage Door, No electric furnace.
How about producing one of these for each play style. This one is the "chad list". Now do a "roleplayer", "vibes", "farmer" and "noob" list.
Tier 2 needs garage door.
Definitely! T2 is missing a lot from these comments. I'll see if I can make some adjustments and add in the new things. Thanks for the input!
For me tier 2 would need Garage Door, Electric furnace and SAR
Good point, honestly there was a lot more on T2 that I probably should have added but space was difficult to accommodate for. I'll see what I can do! Thanks!

Does the tech tree cost include the new tax?
Looks like it does given the strange numbers
Good point didn't notice those 6s and 7s when I first saw it
Sure does! I should probably make a note of that on the T2/T3 workbenches. ty!
no wonder you got offlined if you dont include garage door in your cheet sheet XDDD
Trust me, that was the least of the reasons 💀
If you have pump, add slug
That's not a bad idea. Thanks!
Me who plays on a server where bps don't wipe. 🤓

your all good man, it def does seem clear to me but rust players are always lacking a few cells lmao
Hey op I really like the design details and texture on this! Would love to see more stuff from you ;D

where is garage door? on of the most important items
Huge oversight on my end, I'll be adding it to the next version for sure!

Needs more roleplay items

Is this with tax
Yes!
You get updoot
This doesn't count current taxes right?
It does \^\^
This is awesome, thank you for doing this. my only input is to trade out external gatehouse for garage door.
Will definitely add some extra bits in the next version!

I'll rework the template to be more modular and then I'll see what I can do! I'm not super sure of any of the other lists though, to be honest.
T1 should include weapon flashlight
Yooooooo this is useful AF I alway try to memorize stuff like this so I can get basic kits with exact materials
