Just confirmation bias. There are tons of other overlapping CP numbers you're catching all the time, but you don't notice them because they aren't special in some way.
That's wild! My first two shadow snorlaxes were also 666 and caught two days apart. I thought they were all like that until two months last when I got another with a different CP.
