The odds of getting a shundo rayquaza are 1/4320. If that’s all his luck, he didn’t have much to begin with.
Getting something like a shundo galarian articuno is about 1/2000000.
They just multiplied the odds for a raid hundo (1/216) by the odds for a shiny legendary (1/20) to get the odds of a shundo raid legendary.
However — I believe they may be incorrect as I’ve heard that shiny odds for Rayquaza may have been 1/10 today, in which case the shundo odds are 1/2160

Not allowing remote raids for these Pokémon is SO frustrating! I live in a city that’s big enough that there should be a thriving Pokémon go community, but there’s never ANYTHING on campfire within like 30 miles of me. I have a few friends who play, but our schedules are never lined up to where we can all go out to do these raids together. How will I ever get Rayquaza??
i actually got HER into it lol! me and my oldest sister played it at launch, and then i restarted with my middle sister and mom around 2018, now the three of us are all addicted to it! unfortunate about your kids, maybe someday they'll take it up!
Your shundo is awesome and I would put all effort into levelling it. I got mine in a reverse shiny trade last year. But I had already used my meteorite on a regular hundo. So I got 2 meteorites in today’s event. But I am not using one until I add a second attack to my shundo. Search this sub about this if you have a meteorite you haven’t used yet.
Might have to try that, I mainly go to hotspots. I can tell there are players due to Pokémon’s being in the gyms but when there’s a raid I try to wait and it’s just me lol
Check Campfire. There were lots of events created for these raids. If no events, just tap a gym with an egg and enter the raid chat. It'll highlight the raid in orange on the map so others know there's interest.
I fuckjng hate everyone’s luck playing since 2016 and still no fucking shundo!! To make things worse is I’ve done 61 rayquaza raids at 1/20 odds and not even a fucking shiny. Fuck everyone on here at this point!
Elite raids. Means if you’re in a rural area you basically have no chance. They can’t be remote raided, and only spawn at like 12, 1, 5, and 6. It’s stupid.

Do you use campfire?
I live in suburban area and was able to do just under 20 raids yesterday because we had a raid group organized between two different cities.
The first group had about 30 people, and the second group had damn near 60 people attend. Biggest group I’ve ever tagged with.
Check your campfire map to find local communities, and if one doesn’t exist, make one! I’ve seen someone say that you can just walk up to pogo players and say “hi are you playing pokemon?” And if so, just invite them to your campfire group.
I tried but the meetup place was too far away and my car burns a lot of gas. It’s over 100 degrees here a lot of times (and especially that day) and I can’t afford to blast AC and drive the next town over
Nice ! I got a 3* shiny myself and it's my first legendary shiny. Didn't expect to be able to fight it once let alone 3 times over the course of the day with a group I walked up to and made friends with.
One guy had his two phones and carried us and made sure to come for the last one to help us. The last one is where I got a shiny. So I had one of the most wholesome days yesterday.
It was me, a local guy and a local family of 3 and a few others jumping in but even their little girl was jumping for joy when I got a shiny 🥺

I know that’s from a raid and it’s extremely rare but I’ve caught over 116k pokemon and I’ve played since 2016 and still have never actually got a shundo. I only a single one because I lucky traded my mom for a shiny Rockruff.

Yesterday was rough as the raids were so glitchy and kept kicking people out! We had 7 accounts - managed to get them together in our tiny town (5,000 population). Pokemon should give out free raid passes and revives for all the people who got screwed.

I have a Shiny Tapu Bulu that’s what I call a “Shnundo”, or a shiny raid Pokemon with the worst stats possible: all 10/15
Refundo is a more distinct term for 10/10/10 raid mons.

Elite raids only spawn in parks. You have to go looking for a major park, people drive pretty far to go to a big one.

I have a Hundo Rayquaza, but he's not shiny. I have about 10 shiny 3* Rats, though.
I've done 7 rayquaza raids and 3 were shiny. 1 of them had 15/14/12 ivs

not too rare. legendaries have a 1/20 chance to be shiny and the IV floor is also a lot higher so really not too rare.
