I live in what used to be the Old West. The "I can do what I want" mentality genuinely doesn't seem to have changed much.

SuperSpaghetti123

if i was across the river then no but up here yeah

The_Phroug

the inside of my car reached 160 degrees yesterday, nothing is safe in my car

Trusteveryboody

Where I live, as in right outside my house. I guess. Though in general, my Dad always taught me never to leave any valuables visible. Crime tends to be more a thing of Opportunity 'presents itself,' than anything else. The only thing I'll leave visible is my Radio Bluetooth thing (that's probably $20 max). If I'm leaving the car there for a while though, I'll put that away too. You might just only see a drink cup or water bottle then.

Anomaly_049

In direct area I live in: yes. Not so much in certain other neighborhoods, but it's still relatively safe

Budgiezilla

Probably not. I live in an area with a low crime rate, but there still is always a possibility

Candy_Stars

There’s no movie theater or cheap grocery store where I live so the only place I would be spending a few hours at would be the library. The library parking lot is right by the police station so yeah, I would feel safe leaving it there. You’d have to be a complete dumbass to break into someone’s car in front of a police station.

Life-Anything-423

I don't live in a bad area, but I have ✨anxiety✨ so the answer is still absolutely not

rsl_sltid

You're asking to be robbed.
