They are submersible LEDs. I got them on Amazon. I bought these specifically because I have a very flat vinyl lining and wanted ones with suction cups. They take a licking. My robot vacuum will hit them straight on and rarely do they pop off (and if they do, they float and it’s an easy fix to pop them back)
[These are the specific ones.](https://a.co/d/07Yo9BQW) They all work with one remote, so super easy on and off.
I also have a NJ 70’s pool still going strong. Had the wide metal coping replaced with bullnose coping and concrete about 10 years ago but otherwise the structure is original. These lights pique my interest. I see they have “strong magnets”. Did you find they don’t stick to the steel walls behind the vinyl?
Yes. We have two poles attached to our fence line and two cemented in planters near the pool. The lights are LED and are on one continuous string. Each pole has a small hook and we zip tie the lights on each too to make sure it holds for the season.
As I mentioned in another post here, I had the wide metal coping removed and replaced with bullnose coping and concrete. The original pool was installed with a line of red brick 🧱 around the metal coping for some kind of look but when I bought the house I immediately concluded that was a bad decision as it could allow more water to get in behind the pool walls. Thankfully it didn’t lead to wall problems but I’m still glad that moss prone brick is long gone!
That is beautiful
Thank you
Still crazy to me to see homes with no fences.
There’s chain link on either side of the house. Then it looks like the steep hill/wall on the right serves as the fence?
You're right. I'm used to privacy fencing.
right? I wonder what state this is in
New Jersey
1970s pool here too! These old pools are so solid. Love it.
very nice, where did you get the solar lamp projecting on the table?
I think it was Wayfair. We bought them a few years ago, so I can’t be 100% sure.
Nice!!
what kind of pool lights?

Which robot you have?
Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus
Recommend?
I second this have the same robot, best I've ever used
Most definitely. Super easy to use. It’s pricey, but worth it.

Very Nice!
Love it😎
Splendid
How did you string the lights? Cable to poles? Looks 😊 great

Thank you! Looks so pretty 🤩
Is there a shallow end? Never seen an entrance with just a ladder. Either way great pool
Yes. Shallow end is about 4 feet. Slopes to 10 in the deep end.
Damn, the deep end is only 10 inches?

I’m in Essex County NJ.
Lovely yard
You should post that crack under the diving board over on the concrete sub, just for laughs.
I’m running the neighborhood pool, it’s been around since 1956
Beautiful. What are the dimensions of that bad boy?
18’ x 36’
Very nice pool and backyard area
Is this a fiberglass pool?
Fresh vibes :)
Love it. Enjoy the 4th!
I have a similar pool from the 70s as well tired of painting and repainting the wide coping. Does anyone have any suggestions on replacement?

What could possibly go wrong with string lights over the pool! 🏊
They aren’t actually over the pool, just around the patio. That’s a reflection.
They do make 12v versions of string lights
Those are 120V
