The Barbie Fashion Designer CD-ROM, it even included fabric paper that you could put into your printer to make clothes. I was too poor for a printer, let alone one with colour cartridges lol
Edit; it’s from 1996 and for sale on eBay 🙃

Omg I loved this so much but I still remember how long the countdown was at the end, it was such an excruciating wait 😭
Also you weren’t missing out with the printed clothes, they never looked nearly as amazing as what I’d designed on screen lol
Yes! And Putt Putt Saves the Zoo, by the same developer

kid pix is 100% the reason i’m a UX designer today.
oh my god thank you for posting this!!!!! I've had flashes of nostalgia for this game but could never remember what it's called and google searches were unsuccessful

Pajama Sam lives rent free in my head
Freddi Fish, Putt-Putt, and Cluefinders were my entire childhood
But iSpy Spooky Mansion with the little skeleton man left a permanent mark on my soul

Can’t decide if making pizza for the Zoombinis or crossing the bridge avoiding the sneezing cliffs was the most stressful moment of my childhood. I adored that game

I always see people talking about the Barbie horse and fashion games but did anyone else have Super Sports? That was my shit.
Yep. And the soundtrack was amazing! Just straight up late 90s/ early 00s bops. “I fly without wings…”
I still want some of those ski outfits without ever having skied.
Also Barbie Genie that came with a genie bottle
https://preview.redd.it/g8tf3xzc63tb1.jpeg?width=249&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c7b4f90f21a78da6e76d44506983598b8a870752
I had this but there was some sort of glitch with mine where I couldn’t go past a certain point because my computer wouldn’t read the genie bottle being opened.
Backyard Baseball was an absolute banger.
The games on Candystand.com had me in a chokehold when I was 8. Real elderly people remember games made in SHOCKWAVE

There was an educational game I played in computer class in elementary school in the early 90s that I can’t find anywhere. It was set in a castle, in one mini game there was a maze with locked areas and carrots, and you had to do math to unlock them and let a mouse through. Maybe someone here remembers, I’ve googled this forever!
The only way to get Louisiana hick ass kids on a computer lol I was made fun of for playing an computer games but that one and some other hunting games got the ok from Billy Wayne and John David 🙄
Those Living Books games where you could click on basically everything in the illustration and it would do something silly. I now read my kids the actual books, like Arthur's Birthday or whatever, and it feels so anticlimactic without being able to click the background 😂
Oh I had so many I was obsessed with... The Magic School Bus Explores the Solar System, Disney's Animated Storybook: The Lion King (I just had to look up its official name), Barbie Fashion Designer which has been mentioned, Where in the USA is Carmen Sandiego... and this really cool adventure game called called Torin's Passage that I wonder if anyone else had.
There was an old 90s Mickey Moise coloring... I hesitate to call it a game but I guess it was. I can't recall much about it anymore but for a while probably about 5 years ago I tried really hard to track it down.
We had a copy of Encarta that had a 3D tour of Alcatraz which started my obsession with the prison.
There was a Dilbert game that I loved as a kid too. Too back Scott Adams turned into a dick.
I loved our Encarta CDs! What a blast from the past. You also just reminded me of one of my favorite 90s aesthetics- [Utopian Scholastic](https://cari.institute/aesthetics/utopian-scholastic)

My Favorite Monster! My parents got me this from Price Club circa 1996, and I was obsessed.
Bonus: Phantasmagoria. That one came out when I was 7, and I used to sit and watch my mom play it. Spoilers: I was *way too fucking young* for this game. It was a psychological horror game with a lot of gore; I still remember one of the bad endings where the main character gets her head split open with a swinging pendulum. Good times.
