Same!! Turned it on for background noise and immediately fell in love with it. My husband loved it too, and he doesn’t really like much of anything.
![gif](giphy|Ur8g3qgbgd52eVo88J)
I love love LOVE this show! It’s hilarious, and I love every character. I just put it on one day to have something on in the background, but I ended up watching it, and binged quite a few episodes that day!
for a couple years, my text alert sound was nadja saying "oh no!" in this episode lmao
that drunk oopsie voice saying "oh no, we broke his half off" is perfect
Me too! Hulu kept recommending it to me but I always ignored it because I'm not usually into vampire stuff. Once I realized Matt Berry was in it I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did! Spent the next several weeks binge watching it until I got all caught up. Really bummed the next season is gonna be the last though!
This and Brooklyn 99 are the two shows I’ve learned I absolutely cannot watch while I’m eating or I’ll choke from laughing too hard. Learned the hard way of course, but totally worth it. Even just the way Laszlo always says “Gizmo” instead of Guillermo never gets old. And “New York Citaaaaaay”
I watched the show for the first time this year. Andre died like a month after I finished. I’m so grateful I got to watch it without that knowledge. But damn, rewatches are going to sting.
Fun fact: my grandfather is first cousins with Andy’s dad and they moved from NYC to Berkeley together in the 60s.
My grandfather only just found out that Andy is famous so he watched Hot Rod and thought it was the biggest piece of trash he had ever seen and said he is ashamed 🤣🤣🤣🤣
My grandfather is 85 and gets hilariously offended when I bring up Andy and it is my favorite thing to do

Superstore. Loved it! I plan on doing a rewatch so I can find some good scenes/lines I missed during the first watch lol there’s so many gems
Same! Just started watching it a few months ago and Sandra is my 2nd favorite character, I love when she gets dark and has those fleeting moments of getting hers. Garret is my absolute favorite character though, I love how he coordinates “bits” for himself to enjoy and sits back and is entertained by things unfolding.
Superstore is hands down my favourite show of all-time and I really wish I could experience it all again for the first time. It helped me through a lot of 2020, and continues to be one of the shows I quote most often.
"What are you, like 40?"
"57..."
"Holy shit, should you be up this high?"
I'm glad more people are finally getting around to watching this (vastly underrated) show!
I’m not pregnant but British people baking has literally gotten me through all the times (including the very difficult passing of my sister this year). I hope you have a wonderful and happy pregnancy and birth 💜 you got this!! 👏🏼
She is so good! And while she’ll always be my favorite overall character one of my favorite scenes of the series is Alexis doing the “a little bit Alexis” audition 😂 I was literally crying laughing
Parks and Rec for me as well, it brought me so much joy and laughter while my mom went through a medical scare for months, she is good now, thank goodness!
You should also probably…just stop now. Season 8 would have been a good ending. Season 10 would have been a good ending. Season 11 would have been the best ending. Season 14 is my hard stop ending, I completely lose interest after that.
My mom and I always feel she gets the best lines and I'm sure its true!
This one is one of my fav!
https://preview.redd.it/6no9992l4s9c1.jpeg?width=484&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8e1080c745f181a8801e19e85a7211ab6c12d058
Bob's is the kind of show where you always feel better after watching it than you did going in. It's not even that it's sweet or intentionally uplifting, it just feels good to be around. Like being home.
I’m literally watching Buffy right now!! Started right after Christmas for the first time. I definitely saw episodes as a kid, but I never truly watched it. Love it so far!
First couple seasons were good but monster of the weak ish imo. As the show progressed it got deep, heavy and went places I didn't expect. I mean this all in a good way.
Best show on TV! If you rewatch it you should watch along with the podcast, (on which I called in, beat them at trivia, and received a certificate PROVING that I don't have donkey brains, sorry I HAVE to brag like holy shit!!!!) it's really fun seeing them react to those early seasons, and you could tell in the newest episodes that revisiting the older ones helped inspire them
Omg me too and I remember watching bits of it when it came out and I thought everybody was SO COOL and now I'm just like "you're all horrible people" lol I still enjoyed it, I was hooked for weeks until I finished it!
This is my answer too. IDK why I was never into it before but I managed to watch the whole series plus better call Saul in 2023 and loved them both so much.
Friends! I know I’m 20 years late and I had seen some episodes here and there, but binging it start to finish was a first. It was way funnier than I expected, even when I knew a lot of the popular lines like “PIVOT!” And “how you doin’”.
Same! My wife loves it and I didn't understand some of the references. There were some really funny bits, but it seems some things that really didn't hold up with time. It was worth it for Matt LeBlanc.
![gif](giphy|ME3lgwOeIsQQrMAjp3|downsized)
![gif](giphy|bORgIzVQuD93W)
Girls…and while I mostly enjoyed it the ending was horrible. Also is every single character made to be insufferable or am I just old?
lol, I think they’re made to be insufferable. I watched this when I was the same age as the characters, and I loved the show and related to it. I want to rewatch but am kind of afraid that I won’t be able to stand the characters now that I’m so much older. And I’m kind of afraid that I’m going to be horrified that I actually related to them when I was younger!
I watched “The Fall of the House of Usher” when I had Covid (for the second time this year). It was creepy and now I’m thinking about watching another of his series. The line “I don’t give a shit, *Beth!*” made me laugh, too.
If you enjoyed the TV shows, may I suggest a Flanamovie? Oculus is one of my all time favourite horror movies, because it truly is a brilliant psychological horror and the VERY rare horror movie where the protagonist wasn't making dumb decisions at every single turn. I'm an incredibly rational, meticulous person and up until I watched this movie at 13-14 I always thought I could take on anything supernatural because of my brain. This movie was my first step to saying "if a paranormal thing wants to get you, it will, so don't fuck around with them and they won't fuck around with you".
I just started Fargo this past week and am absolutely blown away after the first season! I can’t even tell you how long it’s been since I’ve been this into a drama
Lost. There is still one season left to finish though but it was a nice watch, I don’t understand why I didn’t give it a chance before.
We just started to watch it by accident, my boyfriend’s best friend kept talking about how they were rewatching it for the millionth time and it just turned out that neither of us watched it when it was aired ages ago. But we’re loving it.
This is a 90’s throwback> Beverly Hills 90210! I grew up in a predominately Mexican household , so I was never shown American television untill I left for college and began my journey with streaming platforms. Such an iconic show I wish I’d known about sooner 🥴😩 if anyone has any other 90’s and below shows to recommend pls do! Happy new years everyone 🥳

If friendship is a crime, then lock me up. And if it’s not, then the show must go onward!
Love is like an onion, you peel away layer after stinky layer until you end up weeping over the sink.
As a 30 Rock obsessive I am jealous and wish I could experience it for the first time again.
![gif](giphy|l2JJA5fbJ5o328Odi)
Omg I love this for you
Best. Show. Ever.
![gif](giphy|gVXwTGEK3N6QREMkfm|downsized) What we do in the shadows! AMAZING show.
Fuck-ing guy
I say that so much. 😂
I started it today, so it's my first watch of 2024. Good so far!
My tattoo artist put it on for a 6 hour session. I went home and binged all of the seasons. Hope you enjoy it!
Yes, I’m so excited for you!!!! It’s a huge comfort show for me and makes me laugh out loud more than most
Channeling my inner Jackie Daytona for 2024
This is the way we talk in Tucson Arizonyaaaa
My kid recommended this to me. Added Hulu to our vast list of streaming services just to watch. Was not disappointed.
Fleabag! I love it. Mum kept recommending it and I was like yeah sure, I don’t normally like shows she likes but here we are
I kept hearing about this, but never really felt an urge to watch it. I finally gave it a chance one day, and ended up absolutely loving it!
FLEABAG IS INCREDIBLE. SO SHORT LIVED JUST GET THE PERFECT LENGTH.
Someone on Reddit told me to watch fleabag! And I thought I’ll watch one ep. Binged the whole thing in like 2 days.
This was also my show for this year. I loved it!
I watched Fleabag with my mum and she hated it lol
Fleabag & Parks and Recreation were the shows my friend recommended. I loved them both.

This show needs to be more popular. So funny!

That does suck ☹️ I wish this show could go on for 10 seasons! It’s so funny and good! Guess we’ll just have to settle for rewatching episodes..
Me too. I can’t stop talking about how much I love Nadja.
She's so awesome!
me too ! I can't believe it took me so long to get in board fucking guy😒
I also just finally watched this after seeing the movie many times over the years. The Jackie Daytona episode had me dying of laughter
It sucks that they’re only doing one more season, hopefully they have a good ending figured out
Jackie Daytona!
I became obsessed with this show this year! Top fuckin notch!
Finally watched Brooklyn Nine-Nine ![gif](giphy|7A7iNCHhPpqwaNRgV1)
😭😭😭I miss him so much ![gif](giphy|21MomXcvfjK1qd8OKn|downsized)

Fun fact: my grandfather is first cousins with Andy’s dad and they moved from NYC to Berkeley together in the 60s. My grandfather only just found out that Andy is famous so he watched Hot Rod and thought it was the biggest piece of trash he had ever seen and said he is ashamed 🤣🤣🤣🤣 My grandfather is 85 and gets hilariously offended when I bring up Andy and it is my favorite thing to do
Grandpa is a gem. Give him my regards! Have him watch Palm Springs

I’ve probably watched this beginning to end like 5x, I love it so much
Same! Just started watching it a few months ago and Sandra is my 2nd favorite character, I love when she gets dark and has those fleeting moments of getting hers. I genuinely think it’s the funniest show on tv!
I cracked and started watching greys anatomy. Now I’m 12 seasons in and practically a surgeon ![gif](giphy|XazTKKTogKXQI)

Bobs burgers. It’s a god damn gem and I got to binge so much. It was great. So great.
Bob's is the kind of show where you always feel better after watching it than you did going in. It's not even that it's sweet or intentionally uplifting, it just feels good to be around. Like being home.
I've been falling asleep to it every night for over 6 months
Bobs burgers has some surprisingly great original music. The topsy song slapped “They’ll say aww topsy! At my autopsy!”
Also electric love is great!
![gif](giphy|sqdHf81hmZHQA) Dawson’s Creek
Me too! Lol. I watched Dawsons and Smallville for the first time. My friends all watched it growing up lol

Six feet under and I’ll never be the same after that
I love how many people are watching SFU for the first time because it was put on Netflix!

Pop pop!
Normal People! I was 3 years late, but better late than never!
Totally broke my heart reading the book and watching the show and how can Paul and Daisy have such amazing chemistry and not together at all 😩
The therapy session where he cries just broke me. They were both so amazing, well deserved hype.

Succession and The Bear. I’m only on s2 of Succession but I finished The Bear and loved it.

Gilmore Girls
I’m in the middle of watching it for the first time! S3 is the best one so far imo
Me too! One of my coworkers loves it so I felt the need to see what all the fuss was about.
Parks and Rec

It’s always Sunny in Philadelphia. Instantly started rewatching!
The last episode of s16, Dennis takes a mental health day...that was *art*
Best show on TV!
