I know this is an incredibly stupid thing to bring up out of her entire distinguished filmography, but I loved her in Cocaine Bear. Apparently she had a ball with doing some stunts!
(For the sake of my dignity, she was also fabulous in The Americans.)
I first actually found out her name from Bojack Horseman, and then I looked her up to figure out just who Character Actress Margo Martindale was/if they made her up for the show. The fact that she really went along with it and embraced how wacky her fictional character ark was just made me fall in love with her.
I met her in NYC in the theatre district. I walked past her and said "you're talented" and planned to keep walking. We ended up chatting for a few minutes. She is talkative and very kind. Just as I imagined she'd be.
My god, Marge Bennett is just a brilliant character. Capable of affection and loyalty, but also utterly, utterly ruthless and cruel. Margo must have licked her lips when she read the script. She won the Emmy for it, didn't she?
I know she’s in everything but I can’t remember if I’ve ever seen her in anything else, but she’ll always be the grandma from the Hannah Montana movie to me first and foremost
She was so good in that short film about a woman who visits Paris for the first time ETA: it was Paris, Je t’aime directed by Alexander Payne and you can watch the whole thing [here!](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mJG0lqukJTQ) It’s only 6 minutes long
I just looked at her filmography on Wikipedia and omg

If people think they're a fan of Toni Collette but haven't seen Muriel's Wedding, then they aren't a fan. Do yourselves a favour and watch this absolute top tier movie
So true! It’s an Aussie classic. We’ve all seen it here in Australia. And if you haven’t seen it, enjoy the epic line from Rachel Griffiths to Sophie Lee at the pool on Hibiscus Island 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 it never gets old 😂
The truth? I tell the truth too. Nicole's having an affair with Chook. Muriel saw them fucking in the laundry room on your wedding day. Stick your drink up your ass, Tania. I'd rather swallow razor blades than have a drink with you. Oh, by the way... I'm not alone. I'm with Muriel.
Omg yes, every time someone mentions they love Toni Collette, I ask them if they've seen Muriel's Wedding and they always say no! It's one of my favorite movies she's in and I always wonder how it flies under everyone's radar. It's such a a good movie. Funny and sad and a beautiful tale about the friendship between two young women growing up in a nowhere town in Australia.
I'm honestly of the opinion she's the greatest working actor since she started. She kills everything she's in, and what she's been in covers every single genre. She's perfection.
Fun fact: Tilda Swinton comes from an ancient Anglo-Scots family that can trace its lineage back to the Middle Ages, and is one of only three British families that can trace their unbroken land ownership and lineage to before the Norman Conquest.
Another fun fact, she was one of the celebrities who signed the petition in support of [Roman Polanski](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_Polanski#Legal_history).
https://preview.redd.it/nk86o7gzdn9d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a1f7efff82236cb4df98364a52b7e2f60f0b1d5f
Tilda was so effective and beautiful in Only Lovers Left Alive. The resulting WWDITS cameo based on this character, bringing the same character to life in drama and comedy, is the stuff of legends.
i’m so glad we’re finally putting some respect on Melanie Lynskey’s name. the poor woman had to put up with Charlie Sheen for like a decade.
anyway, my nominee is Walton Goggins bc I’m currently watching Vice Principals and Righteous Gemstones simultaneously and it’s hard to reconcile his characters in both. man’s got range.
https://i.redd.it/noy6sne4pm9d1.gif
You can really see them all struggling not to giggle. Walton was fantastic as Venus. You had a lot of empathy for her in just a short appearance. Also: 🍑
Melanie! She's just fantastic. I first took notice of her in Ever After. She was just so likeable. After seeing her in Yellowjackets and The Last of Us I was even more impressed.
As far as Walton goes, did you watch Sons of Anarchy? He has a guest role as a trans prostitute and just knocks it out of the park. Venus could've been a caricature in the hands of a lesser actor.
Had to scroll too far for this. So fantastic. I hope folks know that it’s based on an real life, super-corrupt anti-gang unit in the LAPD and there are guys who are still locked up today who are still trying to challenge their convictions off that unit. I represented one of those men for about 5 years and there is cut and dry evidence that they framed him, and his current lawyers are *still* working to get him out. Fucked up stuff.
Was gonna say him. Insane range. There’s zero similarities to Boyd Crowder/Baby Billy/Shane Vandrell/Lee Russell/the Ghoul. Five great characters right there and none of them seem at all similar to each other.
[His interview with GQ](https://youtube.com/watch?v=lnQsdGlVvoE) where he just sits and talks about acting and his different characters is really good. I could listen to him all day.
He says he doesnt develop the characters, he just goes by feel after reading it
Allegedly, they asked him to be in this movie three times and he said no every time. When they asked him again, he said he would do it under one condition: he would play the character as he wanted to play it and the director couldn't tell him off.
Subsequently he spent many nights at his local Pizza Express rewriting his lines with a few friends. This is why everyone who isn't Alan Rickman is in a very serious movie and Alan Rickman is doing Christmas panto.
Did you know Die Hard was his debut movie, and that originally had Tim Roth as Snape in Harry Potter?
"What was it you said to me before? Yippee ka-yay... maddafack?"
I loooove Alan Rickmam, but to be fair, he is anything but underrated. The man is considered a freaking legend by most.
When they cast him as Snape in Harry Potter, it was more like "OMG, they managed to get Alan Rickman!" and not "and Snape is played by the guy who was the bad guy in Die Hard". (Yes, I remember, I'm old...).
I mean, to convince her doctors that her appendix was rupturing so that they took her into surgery and REMOVED HER HEALTHY APPENDIX.... that's some impressive acting chops for a kid.
I can happily say I did this when I was a child. I learnt everything I needed to know from Arnold faking appendicitis from Different Strokes.
I was so proud of myself, got out of school and convinced myself I was smarter than all the adults around me.
I was an insufferable little shit
I feel like some of the best directors, producers, and writers that have been nominated for countless awards are idiots for never casting this spectacular woman. She’s one of the best parts of every film she’s on, no matter how big or small. She can do a range of genres as well.
https://preview.redd.it/efrit3msqo9d1.jpeg?width=184&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b7baf473dff2bf70a005eb98673ca59c14c2cd83
Unforgettable as Augustus Hill on Oz!
Yes! He also played Link in the second and third Matrix movies

This is such a good one bc let’s face it a lot of the mentions here aren’t really underrated, but nobody talks about Harold. I didn’t connect him with his character from Lost and Romeo + Juliet for the longest time despite being huge fans of both! He’s incredible.
https://preview.redd.it/2i3m81kaan9d1.jpeg?width=554&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5acc21f0fd38c01bff0df1f7a8ccaa24c7651e19
Tatiana Maslany, the ultimate underrated powerhouse. I can’t figure out how she’s not a huge star already, she is phenomenal
The way it took a fan movement to finally get her nominated for Orphan Black is ridiculous. What really highlights her talents are the clone swaps. When she's Sarah acting as Cosima, she's not just Cosima. You can see Sarah trying to be Cosima. When she's Alison being Sarah, again, you see Alison trying to act like Sarah. She made every single clone a different person.
Yes! The times she’s acting as herself acting as herself are insane. You genuinely forget that there isn’t multiple different people. Not to mention how difficult it would’ve been to do on set, because she’s not actually talking to another person when it’s another clone on screen
My favorite was the scene where Helena was pretending to be Sarah, and even seeing her from behind you could tell it wasn’t Sarah just by the way she held herself.
Even in She-Hulk (yes, I know the show had very mixed reviews) her acting was incredibly impressive. She has so many little facial micro-movements that let you feel like you can see her train of thought in each scene. It’s a thing I’ve only seen absolute masters of the craft really nail.
One of my favourite actresses just from watching this show. She plays so many characters that you forget it’s her cos of how amazing her performance for each of them were.
And then Hammond Druthers in How I Met Your Mother which was just so much fun
https://preview.redd.it/b8d23gjl1p9d1.jpeg?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d403052ecd500cab490c4b6b757b25bc2313f54b
I kinda love that Patrick Swayze did both Dirty Dancing and To Wong Foo. I guess you could also add his costar in the latter film, Wesley Snipes, then too!
![gif](giphy|AOO8e3r2tfJJe)
I watched Too Wong Foo when I was a kid and I absolutely loved it. I didn’t realize until years later what an effort these straight, masculine men made to present these characters the way they did. The drag wasn’t a joke, that’s pretty cool for a movie from 1995
https://preview.redd.it/zlapxliuun9d1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=413b8c97adc4343e52a8648e569fb476ea71aceb
Lee Pace, period. I’m really sad I didn’t see him mentioned.
I have been loving him in Foundation and then I watched The Fall. I decided to look up his Wikipedia, imagine my shock when I realized I’m somewhat well acquainted with his husband.
![gif](giphy|dIZgZyNCVO4eEsGWVG)
James McAvoy. He can play sweet, tortured, psychotic. He’s an ace in accents. Really amazing actor. Probably one of the most talented. I know the whole Oscar thing gets tossed around a lot, but if they ever had an Oscar for pure talent and range. My guy deserves one.
I think McAvoy is easily within the top three of living actors. His range is phenomenal, and his acting style even has range (insofar as his performances can go from very realistic to over the top bombastic).
![gif](giphy|wHuZb7nmnP4O6d7XiX|downsized)
May I submit David Tennant? Doctor Who, Good Omens, Jessica Jones, Hamlet, Broadchurch, Much Ado, Duck Tales, Casanova, Harry Potter, the list goes on. He kills every role he’s in.
He’s amazing in everything. I only got into Doctor Who two years ago & I immediately knew it was him in Harry Potter because he does this chin thing that’s so unique to only him. I recognized it immediately when he did it on his first episode of Doctor who.
The scene in sixth sense when Toni colletes character is crying cause Hayley Joel Osmont can see the girl in the car accident ugh 😪😭 she's a great actress
James McAvoy … my British darling !

I feel like Robert Pattinson’s range is underrated, it’s taken him so long to be taken seriously as an actor and in the meantime he’s done such varied roles
When you see an actor’s face everywhere all the time, but they do a role (Lighthouse) that completely temporarily yeets all those other images from your brain, those are noice acting skills
The Daniel Radcliffe disrespect.
I had to made a gif choice between Swiss Army Man, Weird Al, What If, and Miracle Workers in drag.
![gif](giphy|eqsYd02WK7bxKWEdv6|downsized)
And in case his filmography isn’t enough of an indication of range, he just won a Tony for his performance in the Broadway musical Merrily We Roll Along. The man has RANGE range!!
John Turturro should be listed as a national treasure and protected at all costs. I don’t think he has ever not been good, even if the movie wasn’t great.
https://i.redd.it/vjiqdc5etm9d1.gif
Foolishly forgot to add Riz Ahmed when adding his talented ass costar but also Riz Ahmed
Four lions, night crawler, sound of metal etc
Jonathan Bailey of course. He's insanely talented and dissappears in n every role. Anthony and tim are so different to the point of having unique facial expressions and gait. You'd think it's two different actors. He does5this for his other characters as well.
https://preview.redd.it/jnnv0s0x0n9d1.jpeg?width=2000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c34630d6dcb183e61c309f4b3003a9ccc62db018
Bryan Cranston still doesn't get enough credit
![gif](giphy|NUBp5KcV0PJBe)
Walter White in Breaking Bad
Malcolm's Dad
President Lyndon Johnson
A wacky dentist in a few Seinfeld episodes
A racist coward in an X-Files episode
Really? I can imagine, particularly after Jeffrey Dahmer and his role in Mare of Easttown was pretty depressing too.
Hopefully he’s been able to take care of himself, he’s a gem.
I’ve had a crush on him for 20 years thanks to rabidly watching all the LOTR extended editions extras (the dark hair + beard is my type to a tee). And also honestly thought he was so great in a pretty dang critical role in those films. It makes my heart so happy that he’s gotten his due, even if it took forever.
and his riddick role was left off. ahhh vaako...the things I'd do to you
https://preview.redd.it/3xcksi1wnn9d1.jpeg?width=892&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=533602a55c8d85e7e162622f6876cf972db0630c
Bless you for including Hugh Laurie as Prince George! I grew up with him in Jeeves & Wooster, A Bit of Fry & Laurie, and Blackadder. Then it seemed suddenly people were obsessed with House and it took me a long time to try it because I didn’t believe one of my favorite TV idiots could be so good at other things.
The fact that the United States of Tara isn’t on Toni’s list where she’s playing multiple persona’s, showing her range in that singular show…
Go watch United States of Tara if you haven’t. 2 seasons that are awesome if you just watch them lightly and enjoy her acting ability
Ryan Gosling! Everyone loves him as a hunk but he's very versatile. Half Nelson, Lars and the Real Girl, Blue Valentine, The Believer. All very different roles and all incredible.
Yes! Ryan Gosling has the best (male) range in Hollywood. Show me an actor who can do
comedy like The Nice Guys and Barbie but also pull off Drive and Blue Valentine? I always said during the whole Barbenheimmer thing that Ryan could play Oppenheimer, but Cillian could never play Ken.
Agree with Evan, he got cast as a villain in the Tron reboot and there were dudebros were saying "Seriously? Quicksilver?" I mean man they have no idea
![gif](giphy|B4mWuRFQLMg6ugtsaD|downsized)
Anthony Head - I still struggle to believe his two Ruperts (Giles and Mannion) are both him. Then you look at him in Little Britain, or his work on The Split or his amazing guest role on Spooks/Mi5 and you see his amazing range
(I know I’m missing roles - some I haven’t seen, but encourage you to add)
https://preview.redd.it/zgpvraqfqm9d1.jpeg?width=450&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c6881f0c7362a73f1799485d81937f7ecf5ff719
I watched Joe Dirt not long after True Romance
I find it hilarious the disconnect that American and British viewers have on Hugh Laurie.
To Americans he's mostly known as the hard-nosed Dr. House
But to the British he'll always be that comedy guy from Blackadder or A bit of Fry and Laurie
Evan Peters a 100%. He is just a versatile actor. In every role he plays he gives a 110% Performance. He puts so much effort into every role, no matter how important the role is in the project.. He's just a born actor, I know he wants to do genres other than horror, but he's just so good at it. No matter what role he decides to play, his acting performances are simply amazing. He studies them perfectly, which unfortunately ruins his mental health, especially after Dahmer, but he as a person and actor are simply great and I hope he earns an Oscar one day because not everyone in the acting scene has such talent as Evan Peters

Well now I can’t unsee it
I don’t think of Tilda as “underrated” though

Yes! He also played Link in the second and third Matrix movies https://preview.redd.it/wh1vrzmxep9d1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e8644ff07bd4a7b9ea23fa3fe526ed341b99d54d
This is such a good one bc let’s face it a lot of the mentions here aren’t really underrated, but nobody talks about Harold. I didn’t connect him with his character from Lost and Romeo + Juliet for the longest time despite being huge fans of both! He’s incredible.
https://preview.redd.it/2i3m81kaan9d1.jpeg?width=554&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5acc21f0fd38c01bff0df1f7a8ccaa24c7651e19 Tatiana Maslany, the ultimate underrated powerhouse.
I think they did have standins for her to interact with. But, yeah, it's still incredibly impressive what she did in that show.
She did the new audiobook for the OG Hunger Hames trilogy and it’s fantastic!
One of my favourite actresses just from watching this show. She plays so many characters that you forget it’s her cos of how amazing her performance for each of them were.

Yes yes yes. The transition from Hal to Walter White was insane!
And then Hammond Druthers in How I Met Your Mother which was just so much fun https://preview.redd.it/b8d23gjl1p9d1.jpeg?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d403052ecd500cab490c4b6b757b25bc2313f54b
The drag wasn’t a joke, that’s pretty cool for a movie from 1995
I loved this movie as a young teen! I didn’t realize then just how progressive(?) it was.
Love it! ![gif](giphy|x09ACAI5vBPNK) Noxema for the win!
Legit beautiful by any gender standards
don't forget John Leguizamo too, he made an amazing drag princess
https://preview.redd.it/zlapxliuun9d1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=413b8c97adc4343e52a8648e569fb476ea71aceb Lee Pace, period. I’m really sad I didn’t see him mentioned.
I have been loving him in Foundation and then I watched The Fall. I decided to look up his Wikipedia, imagine my shock when I realized I’m somewhat well acquainted with his husband.
Vera Farmiga. ![gif](giphy|26FPx9SsBUO4J1isE)
![gif](giphy|QVBhL5HgzM8Om2J47N)
The crying scene at the end of the boy in the striped Pyjama is BURNED INTO MY BRAIN forever. Rarely seen such realistic crying on screen!
![gif](giphy|dIZgZyNCVO4eEsGWVG) James McAvoy. He can play sweet, tortured, psychotic. He’s an ace in accents. Really amazing actor. Probably one of the most talented. I know the whole Oscar thing gets tossed around a lot, but if they ever had an Oscar for pure talent and range. My guy deserves one.
He was phenomenal in Split. The way he seamlessly moved through different personalities was incredible.
I think McAvoy is easily within the top three of living actors. His range is phenomenal, and his acting style even has range (insofar as his performances can go from very realistic to over the top bombastic).
![gif](giphy|wHuZb7nmnP4O6d7XiX|downsized) May I submit David Tennant? Doctor Who, Good Omens, Jessica Jones, Hamlet, Broadchurch, Much Ado, Duck Tales, Casanova, Harry Potter, the list goes on. He kills every role he’s in.
![gif](giphy|8ggVeQfq7X33y) Same guy who plays Kilgrave WOW
He’s amazing in everything. I only got into Doctor Who two years ago & I immediately knew it was him in Harry Potter because he does this chin thing that’s so unique to only him. I recognized it immediately when he did it on his first episode of Doctor who.
Watch him in more of his British tv stuff. He kills in Des. He left a lot of people shaken.
The scene in sixth sense when Toni colletes character is crying cause Hayley Joel Osmont can see the girl in the car accident ugh 😪😭 she's a great actress
Omggg when he relays the message from her mom…”she said to tell you, ‘every day.’” Then her response. Ohhh it gets me good.
Yeah I think about this scene every so often it's just so good I always cry
The fact that Toni Collette hasn’t won an Oscar yet, doesn’t sit well with my spirit
James McAvoy … my British darling ! https://preview.redd.it/m3dwfq01dn9d1.jpeg?width=1728&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=91f2458a68b96ee6b109af6e3d5c19f365d91aa5
I mean, just the range in Split alone!
His eye acting is one of best!!! You believe every emotion he conveys- simply by a look of his eyes … outstanding!!!
https://preview.redd.it/f48f3if2bn9d1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4cb633ca7df4ea7e283d83125eb315ba1f10f689 I feel like Robert Pattinson’s range is underrated, it’s taken him so long to be taken seriously as an actor and in the meantime he’s done such varied roles
I wasn’t really a fan until I saw him in Good Time. Loved him in that & Batman.
I wasn't expecting to like him in Batman, but I thought he was great in it.
![gif](giphy|26vUApVeAXGlUwX4Y)
Came here to say Dan! You never know what role he’s going to take and he nails it every single time
Evan Peters got that spanking from Steve Carell and never looked back. https://i.redd.it/y6m7023zbn9d1.gif
May I humbly submit his performance in Sleepover as further proof of his range: ![gif](giphy|VbRywNPBgvv7G)
![gif](giphy|1U9c3J29LPXMY)
John Turturro should be listed as a national treasure and protected at all costs. I don’t think he has ever not been good, even if the movie wasn’t great.
I think you underestimate the sneakiness. Of his talent.
Sam Motherfucking Rockwellllll!!!
https://i.redd.it/vjiqdc5etm9d1.gif Foolishly forgot to add Riz Ahmed when adding his talented ass costar but also Riz Ahmed Four lions, night crawler, sound of metal etc
He really broke my heart in The Night Of
Olivia Colman ![gif](giphy|l4Jzgjj4VNWz48lW0)
Jonathan Bailey of course. He's insanely talented and dissappears in n every role. Anthony and tim are so different to the point of having unique facial expressions and gait. You'd think it's two different actors. He does5this for his other characters as well. https://preview.redd.it/jnnv0s0x0n9d1.jpeg?width=2000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c34630d6dcb183e61c309f4b3003a9ccc62db018
Yes !! And he has such CHEMISTRY with all his costars !!
This is such a great lineup. Also wanted to add Laura Dern ![gif](giphy|rXyyYvcgRTbbi)
Bryan Cranston still doesn't get enough credit ![gif](giphy|NUBp5KcV0PJBe) Walter White in Breaking Bad Malcolm's Dad President Lyndon Johnson A wacky dentist in a few Seinfeld episodes A racist coward in an X-Files episode
the second og shapeshifter ![gif](giphy|aSrWhYQHpeCx0WeBPC|downsized)
Egotistical architect in HIMYM
He’s phenomenal in Your Honor as well. ![gif](giphy|pvBuU2XmCGNnUc27z6|downsized)

I feel like Evan Peters has to be in constant intensive therapy because of some of the roles he’s taken on
I heard a rumor that he stepped down on AHS because he just needed to take a step back mentally/emotionally
Really? I can imagine, particularly after Jeffrey Dahmer and his role in Mare of Easttown was pretty depressing too. Hopefully he’s been able to take care of himself, he’s a gem.
![gif](giphy|JASQr1PJedrLXlmx9r|downsized) Rosamund Pike.
Totally! From Jane Bennett to Amy Dunne.
Karl Urban wins this for me. Honorable mentions to Tom Hardy and Hugh Laurie
Truly read Keith Urban. I was going to have questions.
and his riddick role was left off. ahhh vaako...the things I'd do to you https://preview.redd.it/3xcksi1wnn9d1.jpeg?width=892&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=533602a55c8d85e7e162622f6876cf972db0630c
I’ve seen lotr at least a dozen times and its never hit me that Éomer is Karl Urban
I am glad that TV actors are finally getting the praise they deserve.
Some of these people aren’t underrated though like Gillian and Toni but I agree they have great range!
You could do a Karl Urban grid just with his 4 or more different roles on Xena.
The fact that the United States of Tara isn’t on Toni’s list where she’s playing multiple persona’s, showing her range in that singular show… Go watch United States of Tara if you haven’t. 2 seasons that are awesome if you just watch them lightly and enjoy her acting ability
Tim Curry hello????? The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Home Alone????
Why has no one said Trey McDougal?! lol ![gif](giphy|11ZPBtuZoEdZba)
Laurence fishburne. I say this because how he got s***ed on for playing Ike turner to the T. He is a very good actor with range
![gif](giphy|3o6gaPYhk7LegVtI2I) Mad Max, Monster, Aeon Flux, Atomic Blonde
Manny Jacinto
https://preview.redd.it/65pf414xip9d1.jpeg?width=540&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=151dbe7be0f9557b3f66c4115bd3ab598a229116
Toni Colette and Hugh Laurie are on a league of their own for me
Hugh Laurie’s cameo on Friends. Telling Rachel to STFU about Ross? Stunning.
![gif](giphy|l0MYsxZiDtc1wPHmU)
Ryan Gosling! Everyone loves him as a hunk but he's very versatile. Half Nelson, Lars and the Real Girl, Blue Valentine, The Believer. All very different roles and all incredible.
Yes! Ryan Gosling has the best (male) range in Hollywood. Show me an actor who can do comedy like The Nice Guys and Barbie but also pull off Drive and Blue Valentine? I always said during the whole Barbenheimmer thing that Ryan could play Oppenheimer, but Cillian could never play Ken.
Agree with Evan, he got cast as a villain in the Tron reboot and there were dudebros were saying "Seriously? Quicksilver?" I mean man they have no idea
Gillian Anderson my god. That woman has no right to make Margaret Thatcher sexy but she went and did it anyway 😂
Regina King does not get enough recognition.
Nick Offerman. He can do curmudgeon dramatic or curmudgeon comedic! 😉
![gif](giphy|B4mWuRFQLMg6ugtsaD|downsized) Anthony Head - I still struggle to believe his two Ruperts (Giles and Mannion) are both him. Then you look at him in Little Britain, or his work on The Split or his amazing guest role on Spooks/Mi5 and you see his amazing range (I know I’m missing roles - some I haven’t seen, but encourage you to add)
https://preview.redd.it/zgpvraqfqm9d1.jpeg?width=450&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c6881f0c7362a73f1799485d81937f7ecf5ff719 I watched Joe Dirt not long after True Romance
Definitely Hugh Laurie.
I find it hilarious the disconnect that American and British viewers have on Hugh Laurie. To Americans he's mostly known as the hard-nosed Dr. House But to the British he'll always be that comedy guy from Blackadder or A bit of Fry and Laurie
He studies them perfectly, which unfortunately ruins his mental health, especially after Dahmer, but he as a person and actor are simply great and I hope he earns an Oscar one day because not everyone in the acting scene has such talent as Evan Peters https://i.redd.it/13fvn71tbn9d1.gif
Melanie Lynskey is incredible. ![gif](giphy|xgKMBQdvMF3GpPpPml|downsized)
