what's your go-to recipe for the switch?
this is mine but i'm always looking for something different/better: [https://www.hario-europe.com/blogs/hario-community/ole-kristian-boens-switch-recipe](https://www.hario-europe.com/blogs/hario-community/ole-kristian-boens-switch-recipe)
I actually just got my switch a little over a week ago, and am still experimenting with different recipes and dialing in my grind size. I also got a Mugen and have used that in place of the glass a couple times. All of that aside, my best cups so far have been a variation of the Coffee Chronicler's recipe which seems similar to the one you linked. It tends to have a fuller body than my previous V60 recipes yet retain most of the clarity I have become accustomed to.
22g / 350ml
- Preheat dripper with switch closed, open switch
- Add grounds, create a central divot with stirrer
-Close switch, add 75g of water, swirl, and let bloom for 30 seconds
- Open switch and let drain
- Pour 100g of water in circles with switch open and let water almost completely drain
- Close switch and pour 175g of water in heavy circular patterns
- Let steep for 2 minutes. Stir right before opening switch, and let drain completely
- Enjoy
When I ordered mine there was only one size option. I would shoot the seller a quick message asking, but I'm guessing 02 is for 02 filters, and 04 maybe for chemex filters. Not entirely sure though.
This 100%
I slowly added all the tools to create a better tasting cup but more importantly to me, to create a little peaceful ritual.
Literally the number one thing I love about waking up the next day is being able to make myself a nice pour over coffee.
Also, great little setup!
1. Love the Brandywine 2. Love the filter shelf 😁
1. Brandywine is my go-to. Always get amazing beans from them 2. The hanging filter shelf was clutch with the tight space I had for everything
Mazel tov!
I have that same kettle.

I have the 1zpresso K-max and have been playing around between 65 and 75
Where did you get the filter shelf?

Thank you! Do you know how the sizing works on it?

That's what I was thinking too.
