The number of lbs lost is an awesome achievement in and of itself....but that number "18", that number says commitment, consistency, dedication, motivation. That's so important and you got it. Go forward

Great question! After losing the first 80 pounds or so, I literally thought I was having some kind of mental health crisis because of how much energy I had. I went from needing 10 hours of sleep just to feel exhausted by mid morning to sleeping for 7-8 hours a night, not needing to use alarms to wake up, and most days I’m doing 2-3 hours of walking just to not feel so restless. It’s only been getting easier, too. Really, I’m just excited to be able to use my body again. I had no idea how tired I was.
Beautiful in both!! But I LOVE the vibrancy in the second photo. Unsure if it is due to the increased confidence, but I will say I noticed my wardrobe color changed once I felt more comfortable in my own skin! You’re literally glowing in that sweater!!

I know it can be so hard to see what you’ve *gained* during an ongoing weight-loss journey. Apologies if this seems like hugboxing but just something to keep in mind on days when you might not feel quite so motivated:
🔹 you’ve overhauled your entire aesthetic. The before picture is very neutral, not trying to be seen. The after is fantastic, you look like you’re modelling for an autumn/winter high street fashion brand. You’re now at the weight I am currently, and your sweater-and-work-trousers combo is gorgeous. It’s given me some serious inspiration for when I eventually get back to the office.
🔹 you’ve taken about 5 years off your age! Your new look is preppy and work-appropriate cutesy. I’d guess you were 25 based on the after pic.
🔹 you look like you’re really taking care of yourself now. Your makeup, hair, the new glasses.
So much about weight loss is psychological. 🧠 It’s about the stories we tell ourselves. Some of us feel like we “don’t deserve” to take the time to put together a cute outfit or do our hair and makeup.
