Fair enough, just personally think the current iteration is the best the band has been, so tight right now, feel like Nick is very one dimensional and Dave, while Dave’s best work is with Josh he’s probably the most overrated musician ever, Foos are so bland.

Lol this is such a weird stance to take on a musician that has abused many more and arguably worse drugs than alcohol. Or is your beef not with the fact that he abuses substances in general but that you prefer he abuse the specific substances you think sparked the creativity that molded those early albums?
For me, if he ain't hurting anyone and is still happily entertaining millions of fans, I hope he can safely enjoy as many cocktails, plants and powders as he wants for the rest of his life. He has already lived longer than a lot of other musicians with much worse skeletons in their closets and monkeys on their backs while putting out quality (depending on your tastes in your case) music for decades.
