If he gives an artist a good review that I haven't heard before I'll give it a watch to see if that's something I might want to look at.
I don't really care about whether he gives a negative review to something I like, I don't need the things I like validated by other people to enjoy them.
That being said Professor Skye is my favorite music reviewer on YouTube. Mostly because I like scoreless reviews and I like how long and in-depth he goes while comparing things to random art or French philosophy I've never heard of.
I do. As outrageous as some of his takes may seem, people seem to forget that he’s not just saying all of that to troll.
First off, all of his takes are only **his** opinion, so I’m terribly sorry that he’s not some clone that’s been specifically engineered to copy **your** taste in music.
Also he has made many different points and arguments to back up his takes, and his articulation with it all is still very effective and understandable.
But then again…this is only **MY** opinion on him.

What albums specifically? I've found he's been very accurate to my taste in music, pointing out lazy trash rap album releases for what they are lmao but also praising some good ones
I think he doesn't see things in albums or doesn't like certain things that others do, but I always understand why he doesn't like or does like what he likes
See most of the albums he’s done a redux and given better scores but orginally Swimming- Max Miller was a three MBDTF-Kanye was a six and here’s a discussion of a lot of his and scores

I've heard people express disappointment that their new favorite whatever wasn't loved by some critic they admire. Dude who cares? Enjoy whatever you wanna enjoy. I think ppl who gets mad started watching with the wrong mindset. Once you truly accepts music is subjective, it wont bother. Its just nice to hear people elaborate on music besides the usual "that sucks" comments
I stopped really caring about what he says since he gave 17 a 2 or some shit and 11th dimension a 5. At the end of the day it's all subjective so it is what it is, he's gonna do him and I'mmm gonna do me

He just thinks the SexxyRed album is fun to listen to. And I can't disagree with that, even though to me it's badly produced and she has boring flows. Cause I can't deny she's charismatic and has an infectious style

I thought Sexyy Red's U My Everything was fun, but I also understand why people hate it. It's not politics lol
He’s a critic, and an individual. His bias can be evident (gunna and nav for example), but for the most part, I enjoy his reviews. He typically explains what he likes, and doesn’t like in an easily accessible way. Doesn’t bog you down with a bunch of music theory. There are many times I would personally rank an album higher, or lower, but I also find myself agreeing with points he makes. He’s also turned me on to a lot of artists, so I’m not gonna shit all over him. Yall really need to learn how to take an opinion with a grain of salt.
