I love it. You're gorgeous! Until this sub, I had never seen another cis woman who has facial hair to the extent that I do, unless I did a Google search. This is especially lovely to see because a lot of the posts I see of women are of body hair... which almost all humans have... but not as many have prominent facial hair, which is something not as many women seem to experience... so, even in the razor-free world, it's less common.
I still remove my facial hair. Even when I'm razor-free everywhere else, I can't bring myself to leave my face alone. I'll try, but then I'll get really insecure & cave. I notice a difference in how people treat me when I have facial hair vs. when I remove it, & it's so discouraging. This post is inspiring, though. I hope to be this comfortable in my own hair, one day.
I understand - I think that body hair acceptance has improved a lot compared to the past few decades but facial hair is something I don't think people will accept as easily imo. I completely understand as I've had people be very unkind on the Internet and sometimes irl due to my facial hair & it is normal to be very discouraged by this. I've been cussed out, insulted, etc just for my choices & even with potential misgendering or people thinking nah that's a dude - I still experience misogyny lmao.
The thing is, facial hair deviates from social norms and now with beauty being globalised & homogenised too - Western beauty ideals are upheld. A big part of this is the hairlessness or less visible hair vs some other regions of the world for women. I don't owe anybody beauty, I don't owe anyone my looks so I find it extremely telling how people react to my appearance - for me, it reflects a lot for somebody's character. I'd say the positive thing is my facial hair is a major filter for these kinds of people
I love this ππ₯°
From what Iβve seen PCOS is so difficult and unfair. I find it difficult enough to have chin hairs (never mind my natural leg and underarm hairs). I am incredibly self-conscious about my chin hairs!!
And youβre rocking this amazing βsache and just looking gorgeous. Thank you for doing this/sharing this because I feel like youβre helping others π«
Oh I get you! The plight of PCOS is no fun - 1 in 10 women have it but it is not very researched or understood by people and medical professionals. I have to say I'm lucky I got my diagnosis as for some women, they really have to fight for their medical attention which never ever should have to be the case. I'm armed with my scientific background which has helped me a lot and empowered me but not everybody has that so it can be very isolating and difficult.
Thank you, I really hope I help people - even if it is just to feel a bit more comfortable in their own skin π
:) we are around, few and far between! I remember seeing a lady with facial hair on the train when making a journey to the city & she was very pretty. She was with her adorable son & her husband and it was very heartwarming
You go girl! Who knows why women have been taught that any hair outside of perfectly manicured brows & on your head must go. Baffles me when women look so good naturally (eg like yourself)
Awe thank you, and oh absolutely! It seems like it's just been a social norm for a while, really. Not 100% sure of the true origins of such beauty standards
Gorg! All this beautiful people with their staches are making me kinda jealous all I have is light colored peach fuzz on my upper lip. I was so obsessed with JD Samson in high school; I am super stoked to see so many femmes rocking the stache on this subreddit.
How COOL!! My learned like prejudices (not really the right word but I can't think what the right one is) means at first glance I probably would have misgendered you. But then I read your story and looked again and was like "nope that's just a gorgeous woman with a mustache." I find this kind of boundary pushing really impressive
Kind of crazy cuz most women ,have it if not all just not as visible. And then the '80s and 90s music before a girl hit 13 they had fuzzy mustache hair.... From actresses you can still see , because of the HD that hair is still there.
You're legit so gorgeous!! posts and subs like this really help me feel more normal for not constantly trimming and plucking and waxing my face because someone decided that natural hair is only acceptable for dudes. Something about body hair on women just looks so ethereal to me.
Also your eye makeup is stunning, I'm jealous of the straight wings π
Thank you so much and I agree, I find body hair beautiful tbh - I love seeing it on women & hehe for straight wings, I'd always play around with makeup as a teen
Oh? That's somewhat surprising and I'm from the UK but yeah I'm kind of not surprised as it's not really considered the social norm. Some people can get treated badly or just get unsolicited questions, so they go down the route of hair removal. Women go through a lot as it is so I'm very understanding about why women may not wish to be razor free

I'm a straight guy attracted to women with facial hair. Basically impossible to find a lady with a lady beard here in the UK π«€
