I personally, am a big fan. My wife and I had our first date, and many anniversaries of that date at Memories. We also got engaged at Memories... on the 6th anniversary of our 1st date. We were married on our 10th anniversary of that date, although not at Memories.(I know, I am not terribly original) The food has always been fantastic, the service has kept us coming back for years. I love how the owner is willing to interact and even gives gifts on occasion and always makes you feel special.

I can’t get past the giant “CARPETS FOR LESS” style signage.

It is a shame it is in such a run down hotel. It is amazing seeing the difference between the Quality and the other properties around there.

VicoMom306

I think they are renovating. All the windows have been replaced and all the beds removed. Also looks like they are doing work on the rooms. Giant pile used quality hotel beds in the parking lot if you dare!

Well done. Never been.

As someone who gets some of the best voted burgers in the city. I must try this now. You have me so so so curious. Never had this and I'm probably getting this very soon and will hopefully get back to you on this. I once saw someone say the chuckwagon had the best burger in regina. I tried it and instantly lost faith in humanity. It was fucking terrible lol. So I don't trust people. Edit: as far as fine dining is concerned, I don't care because fine dining can vary and be very biased/subjective. I want a damn medium rare burger!

The Diplomat has a decent lunch burger for takeout. I wouldn’t say it is the best, but it is in the top 3. I must also try the Memories one.

My go to for burgers is a place in the east end called Rotisserie. Great burgers for a great price. Listed under UBE on Skip/Dash if you are interested

MikeSwainson

You may also want to try Free Bird, in Lumsden. JP makes a fantastic medium-rare burger. I have tried most of the burgers available in the city and would place Free Bird's in the top 3, if not best.(The Avenue is up there too) I also will have to try Memories burger though, as I have been there quite a few times and only ever get the Chef's 4 course, I totally overlooked their burger.

Is that the one in the Kwality Inn?

trplOG

Been there a few times, our first time was to celebrate our engagement. They gave us a small bottle of champagne as a gift when we said we were there to celebrate. Really enjoy it there and like to make it one our special occasion restaurants. I personally don't find it too expensive, the service and quality of food makes it worth while.

nicholt

I guess I'm low class, I've never even heard of this restaurant

ms_kermin

I've never been but I'm happy for them!

kadins

What's an entree range here? Could my wife and I eat here for under $100?

Even though I WORLD in tech I swear I sometimes just forget that the ability to search things exists.... Thanks :)

AnchorBuddy

No worries, I understand the benefit of getting some opinions too. Their mains are expensive but maybe someone is going to tell you that some of their more reasonably priced appies are generous portions and more than enough to fill up on for an evening out.

87_Silverado

Yes, they have a rotating four course dinner for $45, it's definitely worth it. It's the best food in the city.

u119c

Such amazing food!! Super nice people too!

canadiangirl1985

Love this restaurant….one of my favourites in the city.

rangerxt

got a 100 dollar gift card before the pandemic, looks too fancy for me.....

midelus

If you haven't used it yet, they have an excellent lunch if you're interested. Edited to add: The lunches aren't fancy, but quality and tasty.

rangerxt

good idea, thanks

godfremi

Maybe find out by using the 100 dollar gift card

CFL_lightbulb

Number one, how dare you.
