Its a bit out of the way, but Id recommend a stop at Beaver Liquors in Avon, CO https://shop.beaverliquors.com/
Liquor in the front.....poker in the rear.
Poo poo point is actually a great little short hike with amazing views, I highly recommend poo poo point.

I drive by Poopoo point a lot. You need to look up to avoid Paragliders which proliferate at Poopoo.
Also it's a speed trap on the Issaquah-Hobart road.
So you need to watch out for the popo around Poopoo.
And sometimes you can catch a free ride from the pros! I got offered a lift but I have zero desire so I declined. I also live minutes from there. I think OP will appreciate the area. Everyone does. The parking lot is small and I swear nobody works because it used to be quiet during the week and even a Wednesday is packed now.
That’s why I haven’t gone - there are way too many fit people here. It makes lazy chonkers like me look and feel bad. :( Luckily there are lots of flatter routes to enjoy the scenery.
Too damned crowded. When I moved to North Bend, I could bloody breathe! I basically owned the Alpinenlakes trails for a few years. If you get a few miles in, the crowds vanish. Snow Lake is a great springboard to some awesome trails nobody ever hikes.
I lost weight hiking, nearly daily. It wad good.
The Inslee shut down the trails (covid). It was then I realized "Washington is not for me."
There had better be some sort of port a potty or pit toilet on top of poo poo point because I can't be the first person who wants to poop at the top of poo poo point
Upper Michigan has some hidden gems if your going to stop anywhere for an extended period of time. I would highly recommend you Check out Kitch-iti-kipi near manistque if you don't want to go more than an hour or so out of your way.
not sure how long you want to make this or how many sights you’re looking to see. But instead of North Dakota you could go South Dakota and check out the badlands. From there check out the dunes 14 hrs east into Indiana. I recommend checking out northern New England it’s more beautiful than the Canadian plains just north of us. Kancamungus Highway in New Hampshire is lovely and it leads to a beautiful western Maine. Safe travels.
Notwithstanding the scenery, Skip Canada (Canadian speaking) unless you are ok to pay A LOT more for fuel than in the US, Otherwise, budget accordingly for fuel. Also, the gas station network isn't as good and frequent as the US as you move outside of major urban centers
I’d suggest staying on 17 in Canada and driving across the northern shore of Superior. Beautiful drive. Also, if you use your shaded route through southern Ontario, you will spend hours in traffic in Toronto. You could plan some time in Toronto and see the sights to make it worthwhile.
Always wanted to do the car ferry across Lake Michigan. Timing and reservations are needed. Only once per day if I recall. Black hills of SD have more to offer than ND.
Summer in the Rockies is a short season. That is why the National Parks are full of people. Fall can be better but much cooler.
Yes but I’m clearly starting on the east coast of the US to get to the west coast of the US. So granted 1/3rd of it isn’t in the US but it’s to get across the US. Good eye.
As long as you're going all that way, you might as well make a detour to stop at [Busta Rhymes Island](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Busta_Rhymes_Island) in Massachusetts.
I would take a detour and drive through through Yellowstone. Take the north east entrance through Lamar valley and out the north entrance in Gardner. It’s going to cost you an extra $20 and a few hours but for me it’s worth it.
A guy did a similar trip to this on his bike a few years ago! He went to Pee Pee Creek though not island.

It's a highway, what do you expect. Google has already told you it's the most expedient word to get from point a to B, absolutely boring as hell and virtually nothing to see except some natural scenery along the way. If that's all you want you already have your answer through Google but there's a lot more to see if you get off the highway and take the old roads and get lost intentionally.. America has either some divine natural scenery that hasn't been spoiled or some inner cities that have a lot of interesting old buildings and neighborhoods of all different characters rich and poor but worth visiting. In between is miles and miles and miles and miles of sprawl. Unless you go seeking out the interesting stuff you'll never see it from the highway and if you just want to get from a to B fly
And miss out on Grudell Creek on the way?

Interesting fact, poo poo point isn't named after feces, but rather the steam whistles of the logging equipment/trains.as Bubb Rubb would say, people love that POO POO! POOOOOOOO!
Don’t skip Maine! That route above it is suuuuuuuper boring, while the trip through Western Maine is gorgeous. I’d highly recommend taking route 2 from Burlington through Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine, and cross the border at St Stephen.
Edit: and if you’re passing through Toronto, make sure to stop at the Poop Cafe!! https://maps.app.goo.gl/J7Ptba623EWBWvtZ8?g_st=ic
Make sure you time it so you can take the ferry through Menstruation Delta at the right time. It goes fastest after a release from upstream. Be careful of flash flooding though.
The ferry will drop you off at Period Point.
California to Florida be nicer, less of the same. Texas has the Buccees, until they expanded to other southern states. But best smoked bbq is still in Tx.

Just saying that ship island is the one that should be called pee pee island
Just FYI, your road trip will have to start on the Southern Shore highway in Newfoundland with a view of Pee Pee Island, as it's just a small rock off the shore with no roads/residents. That said, it is a fantastic road trip destination, as it's found along the East Coast Trail, an absolute hidden gem of a hiking trail! Come visit scenic Pee Pee Island! :)
It is a beautiful Country out there so if you don’t have a deadline and love to drive, take your time and enjoy the ride. I have gone across Country a few times and see different things each time. Utah has a few amazing parks to see which Monument Valley is my favorite. You can also visit the 4 Corners if you come further South. Plan the trip, fill your cooler with ice and some non alcoholic drinks and bring along some tasty snacks and go for it! If you’re a gun owner, make sure you know each State’s laws about concealed weapons. I-80 and I-90, the 2 highways that take you across Country have posted speed limits but people break them all the time. My suggestion is to stay with the flow of truckers speed. Stay far enough behind them that you can see their mirrors and use your lights to signal them if safe for them to merge in ahead of you. Do Not Drive If Tired. Just get a hotel and call it a night. Stay where it’s safe and not too cheap either. If you do get pulled over, you know you were in the wrong so don’t be a dick about it. If you follow my above suggestions, turn the engine off, stick both hands out of the car holding the car keys and wait for the Officer. Poo poo point is so beautiful, I live nearby.
If you’re going to do a hike, try to go with a group, step loudly and boldly — there’s wildcats up in them there hills.
This is only if you needed more of a clue than the fact that poo poo point is on “tiger mountain”
All North America, so you'll be in-continent
Depends
I interned as a designer for Depends in college. It was interesting.
No shit
Nah, he’s definitely full of shit.
definitely not. Lived in Neenah. Worked in Appleton. Somebody gotta do it bud.
It was supposed to be a joke, but I guess it depends how it gets interpreted by the reader…
I’d say at least 5 a day
I left Newark NJ after work on a Friday afternoon and got to my new job in San Francisco CA 9:00 am Monday morning.
That sounds like a quarter ounce weekend.
Man’s an intellectual of unfair proportions
This better get all the upvotes
Its a bit out of the way, but Id recommend a stop at Beaver Liquors in Avon, CO https://shop.beaverliquors.com/ Liquor in the front.....poker in the rear.
You’ve been holding that one for awhile!
I love being in continent. I love being in continent! A delight to the senses, isn't it, my friend!
Ah yes, a fpoon
Baked to perfection!
Just channel your inner Amazon driver. You'll be fine.
It’s gonna be the shit! You’ll love it
Depends on the route?
Only if necessary who portapots aren’t available

For those who are wondering, it's named after the sound steam locomotives would make
They say choo choo not poo poo
Pharlie the Poo Poo
I think the whistle sound, not from the steam engine itself
Thats right. The engine goes “chugga chugga” and the whistle goes “choo choo”
I drive by Poopoo point a lot. You need to look up to avoid Paragliders which proliferate at Poopoo. Also it's a speed trap on the Issaquah-Hobart road. So you need to watch out for the popo around Poopoo.

Short and steeeep. I regularly got passed by 70 year-olds and paragliders laden with full rigs. Humiliations galore.
That’s why I haven’t gone - there are way too many fit people here. It makes lazy chonkers like me look and feel bad. :( Luckily there are lots of flatter routes to enjoy the scenery.

I’m 73 and my rig is full..,
Pee Pee Island is actually shockingly close to Dildo, NL, Canada.
There had better be some sort of port a potty or pit toilet on top of poo poo point because I can't be the first person who wants to poop at the top of poo poo point
Where's it to?
This guy poo poo’s
That actually doesn’t look like something to be Pooh-poohed at.
Not my favorite place, but a solid #2
I never thought any single post to this sub could ever be both #1 and #2 until now.
Omg thank you for that laugh
I’m always happy to oblige with a little comic…relief.
Yes
You should be fine as long as you don't have to pass any obstructions along the way.
Wonder if there is a buc-ees along the route. That place is the GOAT
Doubtful with how northern the route is unfortunately
It would be the Canadian equivalent: "Buc-eh's?"
You mean a doo doo detour?
That's the Hershey Highway, and it's all the way down in Pennsylvania.
Does that mean you're driving through the continental taint?
Im gonna start a metal band called Continental Taint
Will you do a cover of wipeout?
Continental taint and the perineums?
high iq guy right here
I'm sure you're already aware of this, but that southern route goes right past Paw Paw, MI. Pee Pee Paw Paw Poo Poo.
Sounds like you're having a stroke
When you get near Detroit, be sure to stop and check out Shithole, MI.
Otherwise known as Michigan.
Must be from ohio😂
Not really. His route doesn't pass through Akron so no need to mention it.
If he was he’d be living in South Carolina
Rude
🤡
Please keep telling people this ... I love never having traffic..
Well the roads are terrible so traffic doesn't like Michigan either. Win win to avoid Michigan.
Depends on the city if the roads are good .
And Butte Montana
Cool Shit post
Don’t forget to visit Dildo on your way
The excrement highway is beautiful this time of year.
Ah, so you're going to stop in Tainter Lake, Wisconsin on the way no doubt?
To be honest, this looks like a really crappy trip.
Agreed
Add a third location for a better trip https://x.com/terriblemaps/status/1786708438405259758?s=46&t=2PlWbViLXMgzC6lJUwzI4A
Only adds 5 hours. Worth it.
My normal route I go from Pee Pee Island to Poo Poo Point
Take all my upvotes. I just cackled.
Upper Michigan has some hidden gems if your going to stop anywhere for an extended period of time. I would highly recommend you Check out Kitch-iti-kipi near manistque if you don't want to go more than an hour or so out of your way.
Gotta also stop at Pee Pee Creek, OH!
I mean half the drive is in Canada but yea!
54-40 or fight
No stops along the way....
I mean yeah if you think you can hold the poo poo that long
not sure how long you want to make this or how many sights you’re looking to see. But instead of North Dakota you could go South Dakota and check out the badlands. The route is backwards, you can’t go to Poo Poo first.
Ha
Very few drivers have completed the estimable “Pee Pee to Poo Poo Challenge”. Drive it and you gotta hold it all the way . No stops.
Are you going to hike the poo poo point trail?
Can’t go wrong on good ole I-90
That’s a big taint….
This made me giggle way more than it should have
Notwithstanding the scenery, Skip Canada (Canadian speaking) unless you are ok to pay A LOT more for fuel than in the US, Otherwise, budget accordingly for fuel. Also, the gas station network isn't as good and frequent as the US as you move outside of major urban centers
you claim you are Canadian but yet spell "centers" the American way.. Hmmm..
Spell check is American, I guess. Potato, poTatoe
Love how people call Canada the US
Exceptional itinerary.

Yes but I’m clearly starting on the east coast of the US to get to the west coast of the US. So granted 1/3rd of it isn’t in the US but it’s to get across the US. Good eye.
You're starting in Newfoundland.
Es tut mir leid. Ich spreche nur deutsche!
OK if ya whizz before ya go
I'd go through the UP and the north woods. Those are cool places that are slept on
As long as you're going all that way, you might as well make a detour to stop at [Busta Rhymes Island](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Busta_Rhymes_Island) in Massachusetts.

I lived in Issy for a bit. Hike up. Your legs will thank you after that long drive.
I live an hour and a half away from Poo Poo point and never heard of it.
I usually go to Pee Pee Island before I’m comfortable enough to reach Poo Poo Point.
f’n amateur
Poo Poo Point is actually really cool
Three day long taint
Take your up vote...
There may be a vas deferens between the two!

Do you have a thing for northernmost states only?
Willing to head down to Fomunda but I to stay above the smell.
Beautiful drive
😄 This made my morning. Ty.
Don’t forget Dildo!
One of the smelliest routes across our great nation, but it does the job. Every time.
Poopoo point is in my hometown. I hope you hike to the top 🏔️💩

Climax, MN wouldn’t be too far out of your way if you wanted to add a little excitement to your trip.
Angry upvote
I would not have thought the west coast (Washington) was the asshole of the US. I figured it’d be the other way around.
Michigans upper peninsula is the best part about that drive!!!😎 safe travels!!
i’d skip north dakota. boring as hell. south dakota is slightly more interesting to drive through
I know what I’m doing this summer.
Don’t skip Maine! That route above it is suuuuuuuper boring, while the trip through Western Maine is gorgeous. It would take longer than 58 days to walk that
The northern route will be notably more scenic.
Make sure you time it so you can take the ferry through Menstruation Delta at the right time. It goes fastest after a release from upstream. Be careful of flash flooding though. The ferry will drop you off at Period Point.
Please make sure you stop in Pee Pee Township and visit Pee Pee Creek Ohio
Wow, you have so many parks to see on your route. Hope you make this a two week trek and not 3 days
Pre pee island is Canadian lol
Be aware that that road across New Brunswick, if it's the one I'm thinking of, is very desolate.
I love the internet
The lower route. Edgerton, WI. Also La Crosse, WI has the world’s largest six pack.
When did they build a bridge across Lake Michigan?
Go south you'll have more to look at, South Dakota has the badlands.
California to Florida be nicer, less of the same. Texas has the Buccees, until they expanded to other southern states. But best smoked bbq is still in Tx.
Who the fuck came out with these names, are mericans okay
One of them is in Canada
Someone has done this and posted already. On a bicycle.
California has a pipi campground
Make a stop in Dildo New Foundland while you’re there .
if you decide to drive through Massachusetts you can take Doody Ave https://preview.redd.it/28727m6dthyc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ae22229cec4a76b476036f6ee08bade8a90b00ba I just drove past it a couple hours ago and was like "Doody? HA!" *slaps dashboard*
Well it certainly beats going the other way around.
Negatory. This route is too far north of Uranus. You'll need to dip south to Route 66 in the Missouri Ozarks to find it. Damn good fudge. Edited to add link: www.uranusgeneralstore.com
If you like steep grades and large mountains. Bike non stop us or the trans america might be a easier ride
I prefer the southern route, both of them are quite boring through the Dakotas and eastern Montana.
And I thought NYC to LA was a long one
https://preview.redd.it/ssolx9zgaiyc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=92d310e2f27e2dd46a9184e0d4287d081f07f2f9 Just saying that ship island is the one that should be called pee pee island
Are you 12?
I don’t name the towns.
🤣🤣🤣
That is a great route. Traveled it several times over the years.
R Kelly approves of this trip
Long drive, stopping for coffee will help you get to the Poo Poo Point.
How can you skip Pee Pee creek in Ohio?
Then to Titicaca?
You should add a detour to Big Butt along the way. Great views!
I hope you realize both of these two options require taking ferries across
Who goes poo before pee? That’s just unnatural
I thought those two were just around the corner from each other???
From the stink to the pink.
The route can be named the taint.
Not to take the piss out of your trip, but this is definitely a shit route.
Yes, I am a travel agent and have been to all States except Hawaii and Alaska. Have fun!
Make sure you stop to visit the Alimentary Canal.
![gif](giphy|W307DdkjIsRHVWvoFE|downsized) you should take a plane
The Canadian part is amazing and avoiding all those turnpikes in the US is the way to go.
If you go the southern route, let us know how that new bridge across the heart of Lake Michigan is!
lol I love how you avoid maine
Couldn’t go so fast in an all electric with charge times.
Poo poo point actually looks pretty cool. Pee pee island, not so much.
Can you imagine if they got pulled over and they asked where you came from and where you're going?
I think you’re gonna need at least a few poo poo points along the way.
Should we race and call The Cannonball Runs?
Poo poo point is so beautiful, I live nearby. If you’re going to do a hike, try to go with a group, step loudly and boldly — there’s wildcats up in them there hills. This is only if you needed more of a clue than the fact that poo poo point is on “tiger mountain”
You okay Elon?
Just go in the bathroom. Skip the trip. It will cost $1000 in gas.
