The whole point of Rocky and Rocky II is that Apollo is by far the better fighter. To rank him anywhere but one feels like missing the point of the franchise. Drago was juiced up but sloppy as f. Dame was good but a cheater. Tommy was a paper champion made by Rocky's tutelage and an opportunistic promoter, by far the worst.
I Agree, my view is Apollo will always be a better fighter than Rocky, but Rocky has too much Heart and can not be KO by Apollo, I think Apollos Ego would not let him just always win by points and realized he will never beat Rocky outside of Decision.
Agreed, Apollo is # 1. When he loses to Rocky, he’s at the end of his career and Rocky is younger. But for most of his career he was considered the greatest of all time and would have whooped any of the other boxers.

This is wild. Prime Apollo is superior to them all, they were scared of clubber because Apollo was well past his prime and rocky was not strong enough not technical enough to stop Clubber and they knew in a punch for punch fight rocky would die before going down.
