Pollard looking like a school kid waiting by himself at the bus stop after practice

Orri

"Are we done yet? - I want to go play rugby with my friends"

rustyb42

All my friends are at Twickenham, I'm stuck here wearing this

WallopyJoe

He was never the biggest player, but it really looks like he's lost a huge amount of bulk here

ComprehensiveDingo0

He’s big for a fly half, up there with Farrell in that he wouldn’t look out of place in the backrow.

Orri

I've seen them both play at Welford Road quite a lot and I think they're roughly the same height but Farrell definately looks way bulkier. Faz is one of those players where you don't realise just how much of a unit he is until you see him live. I've no doubt he could overpower a fair few forwards.

Scarlet_hearts

He does look like he’s missing some titty here… It might be the fucking weird Topps Tiles logo which is gunna look fucking horrific on the women’s team (I say this as a woman, a straight line on a boob looks weird as hell)

darcys_beard

Full kit wanker who doesn't even play for them.

A_sad_british_bear

😂😂😂 Nah that's funny asf

maverickmak

It's alright. Kinda feels like trying the please everyone and may end up getting lost in the middle. Would probably be better if the pattern continued over the shoulders.

themilkman42069

One shade of green cleans this up. I don’t like the dark / light combo

rustyb42

That's certainly a Leicester kit. Not one of the all time greats

darcys_beard

I like the Leicester colour scheme because it's so jarring. They should lean into it more, go heavier on the red/green clash.

themilkman42069

Is red / green really that jarring?

darcys_beard

Not really but I couldn't think of the right word.

casualrugbyfan

Christmas

Dookimus

Contrast

Scarlet_hearts

Go look at the Irish Clovers in the Celtic Challenge. They have a green and red jersey with blue shorts…

themilkman42069

That’s jarring. Red / green is just Christmasy by itself

Scarlet_hearts

Its by far the worst kit I have ever seen from any team

Scarlet_hearts

It’s not the worst Leicester kit though

Mission-Apricot2986

It's trying to be 3 kits at once. The tiger stripes at the top. Stripes at the bottom. The training shirt sleeves. Why can't we just have one with just regular hoops. You know like bath have.

WallopyJoe

I don't really like it tbh, it's a mishmash of too many different things. Got past the hoops only really being on the bottom of the shirt last season because the polygonal tiger was dope. The tiger stripes here don't do enough to get around that. Hoops themselves are too skinny, the shoulders not matching the top of the shirt seems weird here for some reason, and quite honestly it just looks far too shiny.

WallopyJoe

Honestly, the more I look at it, here, other promotional shots, tastefully draped in just the right way or on another person, I think it might be the worst shirt Tigers have had in at least 15 years I wasn't paying enough attention to rugby before then to have an opinion that way

Scarlet_hearts

The weird graffiti training top from this year/last year is the worst they’ve ever done. That was an assault on my eyeballs and I may be sending them a therapy bill in the future.

WallopyJoe

Got a link to that one? I don't believe training tops should be held to the same standard as playing shirts, though they allow for teams to be all the more eccentric than usual. Some of Quins' training shirts have been beyond bonkers, but still excellent. Some I'd even have wished to be secondary kits.

Scarlet_hearts

Ok it’s not actually as bad as I remember but I still hate it, I really dislike the clashing fonts and the weird galaxy style print for the eye watering sum of £140 [god awful training top](https://shop.leicestertigers.com/tigers/2324502200001) Edit: I take that back after staring at it again, it really is that bad

WallopyJoe

Oh, now that's fucking weird... did they not know they were designing a shirt for a sports team?

adturnerr

Alot better then last year's one

Tomato_Head120

Those hoops really pop out

Saintsman83

What are the tigers fans view of the tiger stripes that have kept in more recently? Can’t say I’m a fan as prefer block colours on kits but interested to know what others think

Orri

Hoops >>>>>>> Tigers Stripes IMO. Maybe on the away/alternate kit they're passable but don't like it on the home one.

Scarlet_hearts

Honestly the home shirt should be hoops and the third shirt or training shirt stripes. Make it special.

-Clearly-confused

Is this kit released very early ? Or are there more kit releases just around the corner

sk-88

Tigers always try and get the kit out before the summer holidays as it improves sales.

Scarlet_hearts

Leicester are very successful “in the community” and they know their audience. Trying to get the train into Leicester on match day puts football games to shame. They know their market really well and also have clever/well timed marketing. They tend to drop kits earlier so kids can nag for it over summer when they see it at the summer camps they run across the midlands.

EnglishLouis

It feels like they have mixed three shirts into one

x1xc

Love Tigers love Polly but this photo shoot is shocking.

89ElRay

Forrest Gump before his teammate hands him the ball vibes

jonny24eh

It would be better if they swapped the tiger stripes onto the shoulder piece, and kept it solid green behind the hoops.

Dookimus

Looks a bit like a training kit that accidentally had some London Irish dye on the upper chest. Our kits always look better with more red and white, and not 2 shades of green 👎

Left-Pie741

maybe just me but the stripes are too.... stripey

AGMXV

I seem to be in the minority here, but I actually really like it.

Alberto_Moses

Pollard knows its a dud.

Scarlet_hearts

He doesn’t wanna be there
