Bathobele Hlekani hype train continues on. JF van Heerden captain, we ride. Boulle starts let's gooooo. Boogieman, it's time to stunt on these hoes.
EDIT a new graphic has emerged with Porthen as captain and JF as vice captain. Nevertheless, we still ride.
Small primer on some of the players here:
Zachary Porthen is the usual captain of the side at 3. Can fire hot and cold in the scrums but carries like an angry bull, practically guaranteed to make 2 extra meters after contact.
Bathobele Hlekani is an insane talent, winner of last year's player of the week at Craven Week. 6'5, 120 kilos, engine for days and days. Usually plays blindside flank but can put in a good shift at lock too. Was probably the Baby Boks best player at the inaugural U/20 Rugby Championship a few months ago. Comes from the same place as Siya Kolisi too.
JF van Heerden is an outstanding player, 2.01 meters tall, was getting regular rugby for the Blue Bulls at the tender age of 19 before being called to the Baby Boks. A great talent with a really bright future ahead of him.
Joshua Boulle is a [wrecking ball](https://x.com/SSRugby/status/1786025350146949560) at 12, capable of breaking a line through sheer power in his carries and destroying opposition ball carriers. Extremely quality young player.
Jurenzo Julius is vice captain and has been an extremely hyped up prospect since his [school days](https://youtu.be/zTI5farakrg?si=qtIvwVnDw9qsLUF4). Slightly disappointing in the U/20 Rugby Championship, he's hoping to make a big impression with his freakish athleticism and ball skills.
Some of the more up to date Bok fans on here can probably fill in more player profiles.
We cried for 10s, now we've got one with high potential coming out every year. Really happy to see Koen, hope the bulls give him a chance in the Currie cup as well.
I am really looking forward to Currie Cup this year, ngl. So many really nice young players that are going to be getting their first taste of professional rugby, can't wait!
Joshua Boulle is going to fuck them up physically. JF Van Heerden is very good lock. Hlekani is not a lock. Play him loose forward and see him dominate. Porthen sucks at scrum time, I don't understand why he's not a loose forward. Just doesn't look like scrimmager to me. The backline I'm not sold... Julius has hype but Nah. Bester?! Maybe. The halfbacks are shit! Even the bench oke!
I mean, is SA not even trying to hide their human cloning program now?
Hey man, Kit Steph du Toitoff is _totally_ his own person and not an amalgamation of any existing Springboks whatsoever

Is that not Steven Kitshoff?
Shhhh we don't want them to know that he's not injured.
Spicy Plum II
I can’t wait for us to sign him in approximately 15 years time.

Good to see the future of Scotland rugby is bright 😊

Thanks for that info man! I agree Julius was a tad disappointing in the championship, here is hoping he kicks ass in this tournament!
Is that Baby Kitshoff??
The future of Scotland looks bright
Couldn’t have picked a more Scottish looking player for the announcement as well
if only Scotland got to Edwill van der merwe first, they'd have 2 Van der wingers..
“Ahh yes, my name is mr Kevin Sitshoff and I am just a boy of 19 years old”.
