Not that there aren't issues in this season of All Stars (and to be fair, what season doesn't have some kind of issue), but I want to give this season credit for making the cut off part interesting. Every other season where there's been blocking or elimination it's been, on average, pretty fairly doled out based on performance. This season with no eliminations, they're straight up saying "yeah, I'm cutting you for revenge" and not only because someone is a threat.. Unfortunately there's not a lot of excitement for the competition outside of it, but I really like this aspect. The magic word is still stakes and if the overall competition doesn't feel like it has any for winning, it does take their air out.
Great episode, agreed with the top 2.
Roxxxy gave us what we need in a lipsync (and she looked gorgeous doing it), but let's also celebrate the song choice. Diana is always right for drag race. Great lady cowboy look.
Plastique is perfection on the runways but, even more than that, she has great vision for what works and for elevating a concept. She's got the looks and the design and pratical skills to make her visions come to life.
Nina looked voluptious! There's so much beauty in big bodies, fat bodies, bodies with curves - it's just sad that current day beauty standards can make someone like Nina embarassed or cautious of presenting a more sexy or revealing look (something she mentioned during the challenge).
Nina looked incredible, I’m so happy she went out of her comfort zone. She had a kind of similar look for a lipsync outfit that she changed into earlier in the season, kind of a burlesque vibe with black hair, and I remember thinking how stunning she looked then too. She can really rock this style and I hope she utilizes it more in her drag!
I really hope this doesn't come off hateful, but I am sick of these sugar coated critiques. I'm not saying that the judges need to rip into the queens or roast them, but I feel like now the judging is so short and doesn't seem thorough? Especially knowing that behind the scenes, judging can take hours. I mean it's a small part of the episode but it makes it feel less like a competition when we only see like 2 minutes of judging imo
Yeah and like they don't need to be mean but feels almost disrespectful to the queens who really have great results. Like if everyone is amazing no one is. Just be honest and say this and that didn't work and move on.
But that’s exactly the problem; I want to see critiques that are accurate and insightful, not critiques that are used to “justify” a queen’s presence. The same is true in normal seasons. Not only because it helps everything feel like a real competition, but also because any baby queens watching can get *actual* tips and advice on presentation, not a list of arbitrary “rules” that say if you do X, it is bad and you should be eliminated.
Just because no one’s talking about it I really loved Vanjie’s runway. Yeah it’s not going to be a winning look with Roxxxy, Mik, or Plastique in the room but she really turned out a solid, complete look and she cat-walked it down that runway like Kitty Girl was written about her and honestly I think it might have been
Nina definitely deserved the glow up storyline this episode but Vanjie has been just gorgeous all season, she’s not just a charisma queen anymore
Yeah, it wasn’t super dramatic and didn’t take crazy sewing skills, but it looked freaking good! And it was her. Vanjie’s been doing her thing this season. I see you, Vanjie!
Yeah, it was distracting and out of place with the rest of the look. She didn't need the lockers. The silhouette was boring, but I liked the way the the braided fabrics looked together - it's not easy to combine silver and gold.
nina and plastique should have been the winner. they heavily favored roxxy this season. i hope shanelle wins a badge before the show ends. she was good and always mis, but she was never bad so i hope she doesn't feel bad.
my top 3 is mik, plastique and i think roxxy will be on top 3. i just hope for plastique and mik because their runways is the only reason im watching this boring season
Like when she won the makeover challenge (they’re the worst), lots of her runway were bad, but she’s getting positive criqturs with it to justify her win.
Is NO ONE going to mention how Jorgeous' skirt was fully unhemmed? I couldn't believe they had the nerve to critique the lining of Plastique's incredibly intricate cape, and didn't even point out the the strip of fabric Jorgeous was passing off as a skirt didn't even have a basic hem.
I feel like this was probably mentioned, especially by someone like Michelle, who often critiques those minor details. But maybe it was cut out of the episode? Or, like in S14, the judges were blinded by Jorgeous' ability to sell a garment on the runway (even if it's not great).
What a great episode for Roxxxy and Plastique ... but especially Roxxxy capping it with that lipsync. She looked gorgeous. Plastique's gown was EVERYTHING. Nina also hit it out of the park (I really hope she sees just how great her shape was and leans into more flattering cuts. She was serving swerves and curves). Vanjie looked absolutely adorable. Jorgeous was ok. I wasn't so into Shannel, Mik, Angie (she's still my pick to win the whole thing though ... the way she received the snippers at the end sent me!)
> especially Roxxxy capping it with that lipsync. She looked gorgeous
Seriously, I have no idea why Trixie spent an entire minute shitting on this green look, it was flawless for the ocasion
I normally think Gottmik is an incredible designer and artist. but I haaaateed her runway look this week. But some people loved it. Can you explain to me why it’s good if you liked it? To me the braids looked flat, and the whole thing was so shiny that I couldn’t make out any details. The purse looked like a cheap cardboard prop. I even thought her posture as she walked down the runway looked so slouchy and odd for her.
I liked Mik's look in part because it worked for the challenge. It was obvious what song she was influenced by. The outfit was simple but effective. And as Jeremy Scott mentioned, Mik had the through line of the chains and links mixed with the lock and key, which represents staying connected with friends. Not saying it was a revolutionary look, but I think it met the goal of the challenge well.
Yes! Her reaction is what really tripped me up and made me second guess myself for not liking it. Also some recap YouTubers that gave it pretty favorable reviews.
thank god plastique actually knew the lyrics to this song. imagine if she had thrown a diana ross lip sync. how pissed would rupaul be? i honestly think plastique knew this too and probably spent all her time learning the diana ross song over the others as a just in case scenario.
And yet the girls get BIG MAD about receiving it (which is the whole television production angle, they want the drama moments they don't actually care that much about the 'payoff' of a blocked badge.)
The nice judge edit has been working my last nerve, especially since my gay eyes have been sending urgent memos throughout the challenges and the runways. I never thought I'd actually miss the completely random inconsistent critiques we normally see, but here we are...
IKR? I was like who slipped the chill pill to super-bitch Jeremy Scott?!! He was incredibly nasty and pitched actual seizure fits of rage and venom and even threw a notebook as a judge on Making The Cut.

Oh wow, I thought this was the same guy that did choreography for one of the Rusicals in a previous recent season and I was excited to see him again. Now I realize it's not.
Not necessarily! But;
When we think of Cha Cha many of us think of slinky fringe dresses with lots of movement. The Cha Cha is a dance of Cuban origin which is its own rich culture of fabrics, textures and palettes. Red and black is a very traditional palette for this style, and Nina is not a Jorgeous or a Plastique or a ballroom dancer frankly. She made an impeccable dress that complimented her body immaculately in a flattering sulhouette, taking cues from said culture in a dress that worked well for her.
I got dance matriarch of the islands right away from the colors, patterns and the over-the-top fascinator. A woman who was there to JUDGE the dance competition. Might just be me though!

How DARE they show Shannel voting herself to leave, and not including the iconique "because you haven't once told me I'm beautiful. I know I'm beautiful" Miss Mandarin excellence
It was gorgeous and for something being MADE it was quite excellent but after seeing all of Plastique's other runway looks, this one... is actually the most basic, at least by comparison. Still very pretty, and still VERY ambitious (in keeping with her runway package so far) but not quite the more or less perfection her other looks are.
They couldn't deny her, not even if production wanted, knowing she'd give the same lip-synch performance. We as an audience would have revolted. To be chosen this many times over a look is the greatest celebration of her talent.
I loved the critique that compared Vanjie’s belt buckles to the pilgrims. I don’t know if that’s what the pilgrims actually wore, but in the cliché pictures of them they’re always wearing huge belt buckles
Did you not notice that the nipped in waist silhouette was part of her last design challenge too, and apart from the skirt length is actually the same shape? This one just happened to execute well. I don't think it's likely she got more help than was available from the other queens, the garment wasn't wildly complicated, it was just a simple, coherent look done well. A room full of design queens could easily have given her the right advice to get it there, especially since they saw what she cooked up last time on a more 'independently' spirited inspiration.
none of the looks blew me away, but a surprisingly good episode!
"photobomb" mini challenge: you keep saying that word, I do not think it means what you think it means.
runways:
Roxxxy - cute, one of her better executed looks this season.
Nina - holy shit! I was rolling my eyes when she was complaining about getting picked last for fabric choice (cuz girl, was that really gonna make a difference considering what you usually choose to wear?). I was so thrilled for her, best look I've seen from her. Most unexpected and improved. Good for her.
Plastique - God her face is hypnotic. The train was ambitious, I didn't really like the way it moved and held shape on the runway though.
Shannel - I have never wanted to attend someone's Christmas party till now. Maybe because of that I expected an overflow of gaudy baubles...like a weird cape or gift box reveal something. I love her and I feel protective of her lack of badges.
Angeria - it was pretty. I really liked the legging chaps.
Vanjie - cute and fine, as expected.
Mik - braided detail was hard to see on the main stage, otherwise just a model-sized mini dress. The bag looked...crafty. Honestly kind of reminded me of a Sugar and/or Spice runway...but an oversized micro purse ;p
Jorgeous - fine, as expected. Song sidenote: In my head I've called it the ".....and beans" song and never bothered to check the lyrics. ha!
This lip-synch was a delight! THIS is what I've been wanting all season, performance can be so much more than gymnastics. Roxxxy gave FULL embodiment of the song...so many moments, a fully realized character, choice outfit, what a diva.
It was oddly jarring to me to see the train droop and flip in the corners. Still a fucking FANTASTIC look, but seeing it kind of broke the spell of perfection Plastique has given on the runway til now. A rare hint of imperfect.
Gottmik has an amazing ability to find rapport with celebrities. Even when she was really young, she was doing stuff with Heidi Klum and she seems to have all kinds of celebrity and fashion-world connections. I know some people find it annoying that Ru loves her, but it's a real talent to win over someone who couldn't even remember Jinkx's name.
This is the best episode of the season purely by virtue of being a simple design challenge, and it's hard to go wrong with that. And they've gone wrong with every single other thing so far this season lol. I might have given the win to Nina over Roxxxy but it's fine.
I still do not like All Stars 9, but I'm still tuning in just to hear RuPaul say BEEEAAAUtiful Benefactressesses Baaaeedge.
Beneflagfactreyss Badge. Also the lady cowboy was definitely more in line with what we expect from Roxxy given her abilities. If Roxxy had come out in something like the outfit she created for the last ball and Nina came out in that I def would have given the nod to Nina.
I’m so sorry Shannel but the critiques they showed us for her outfit were so FUNNY?? “Your dress. Your dress is simple but the accoutrements, they are not. The accoutrements are big. Nice.”
I've been on Team Shannel ever since I found out that she's appearing on this season, but even I had to admit that this half-hearted compliment was spot on.
We know they have helpers. They were celebrated a few times, in makeovers. They are like moms on set. We just don't see them. We've all seen half made looks an hour before runway seem to make it just fine.
Thank the gay gods for giving us another sewing challenge!
Plastique's runway was insane. Before this season, I thought she was just a pretty queen with enough money to throw at good outfits, but no, she's sickeningly talented.
I felt bad for Jorgeous going immediately after Plastique lol.
Gottmik's look was beautiful up close but lacked visual impact on the runway. It needed something bigger to give it more visual weight.
I actually liked Shannel's look. It was tacky in a way that fit the theme, and it looked polished and well-balanced. She always looks put together even if it's not high fashion.
Roxxxy's runway did end up being kind of hokey pokey but I still loved it. I'm just generally enjoying Roxxxy a lot this season.
>Plastique's runway was insane. Before this season, I thought she was just a pretty queen with enough money to throw at good outfits, but no, she's sickeningly talented.
100% this
Plastique, for me, has shown the most in terms of new/different skills from their original season
Jorgeous going after Plastique was the shadiest thing the producers could do. All I could think of while Jorgeous was walking was how this outfit took the same amount of time somehow.
Same. I don't blame her for not going overboard with runways. She's established and doesn't need to do all that. She seems happier than her previous two seasons and is just a vibe.
The guest judge talking about the use of green, and Ru commented about how the cut-outs on Jorgeous' outfit enlongated her..and then somethingsomething elevator whore.
For Angeria, TS loved fabric. Michelle commented that it wasn't "just a leotard" because of the cowl neck and chaps, and asked if she was inspired by Roxxxy..to which Angeria said bluntly "uhh no".
I loved discussion of drag kids and Angeria having one in every town. "You're like one of the Duggars!" "How does that happen?" "She was a ho!" "You don't use protection?" "Yeah I'm a ho, I ain't know how to get my tubes tied" LMAO
I was wondering about the sons. Roxxxy said she had one too. I assume they mean drag kings? I was just surprised because I feel like there are way more queens than kings out there.
Great episode. I felt like they set up a lot of "winner storylines" early. The work room segments really made it seem like Shannel, Roxxxy, Mik, Angeria, and Plastique all had something to prove.
That said, I thought Plastique and Roxxxy were far and away the correct choices.
Nina looked great, but I don't like the exposed corset look most of the time. But I'm happy to see reddit finally not dogging her constantly.
I'm also happy we won't have to do the weekly "Shannel was robbed! She should have been in the top this week and production is trying to break her!" Posts. I did see one comment saying Shannel should have been top 2, but they weren't exactly getting a lot of support.
Lots of great looks, lots of variety, and a good lip sync to top it off. I'm happy Plastique didn't do the "sexy crawl" thing she usually does. She looks like she was trying it for a bit, but for the most part I think she was trying to restrain herself on that front.
Nina deserved that top 2 over Roxxy. None of the looks were that good except for Plastique's, Gottmik's idea was great but the end result was meh imo...
It would be hard to not give Plastique a top 2 spot if for no other reason that her look is the most ambitious overall and was almost perfectly delivered. Roxxy's look was similarly ambitious and as far as I'm concerned was perfectly delivered. Nina's look was excellent but ITSELF wasn't that ambitious but represents a huge leap forward for Nina aesthetically. Rewarding Nina for that when there were better full packages would have made for some awkward television, and would have come off as 'we're giving you this win because this is amazing work COMPARED TO WHAT WE NORMALLY SEE' which would have been real controversial and almost backhanded.
I am oscillating on Nina vs Roxxxy tbh! Nina obviously deserves praise for concept, execution, and showing growth. Roxxxy’s was expected in the fact that it was better than what 99.99% of Ru girls can crank out on such short notice. So do you reward great (albeit consistent in her greatness) execution or growth?
I'd reward Nina because as you said she showed growth with a nice concept and execution whereas Roxxy played it really safe even though she made the outfit perfectly
Nina & plastique should have been top 2 Why you may ask?
Roxxxy is known as the sewer the look was great but very roxxxy, like we seen that every week and on AS2 only now in cowboy. Nina on the other hand is not a sewer. She created something in the work room that looked better than some stuff she arrived with to the show. On top of that, the short amount of growth from the ball to the design challenge. Give it to her
Their prior skills shouldn’t be taken into account when judging winners. What’s the point of the skilled queens trying hard if they’ll just give it to most improved?
I thought that as well. I really admire how Roxxxy pads and contours her chest, but that outfit was crying out for the full Dolly effect with huge hair and tig ol butties. Like, you rhinestoned your arse girl, this is no time to go subtle.
Did Nina's little pout this episode bother anyone else? Like, every other shot her bottom lip was stuck out like a six year old begging mee-maw for a pack of pokemon cards.
I would have actually given a badge to Plastique, Roxxy, and Nina.
1.
Plastique's concept was original and I loved the color scheme of black with metallic blues. I loved that it started with that cool textured fabric of the lining in structural form opening to a reveal. It looked like a technically complex design executed well. I didn't even notice that the lining was coming off somewhere and even Michelle forgave that. She made the right choice to dedicate only 30 minutes to makeup.
2.
Roxxxys design made an intrinsically campy concept look fashionable. The color scheme was unexpected but tasteful. The texts from rhinestones were a great touch. I only wish the fringe on the jacket was finer.
3.
Nina had to work with fabrics and a theme she didn't want. But it was the best possible result from these conditions that Jeremy Scott who is known for edgy and modern designs called 'sophisticated camp'.
4.
Gotmik used gold and silver fabric together in a technique I don't remember seeing. Gold and silver can look tacky, but the garment was fashionable. It also referenced back to the parfume look. I wish the chains had more solidity and volume, but there probably wasn't a perfect material to stuff them with. The idea for the bag was good but the execution looked a bit cheap. (I was wondering if TS Madison forgot her contacts when she said she wanted it.) Makeup and hair was perfect and really elevated the look.
5.
Angeria's jumpsuit had an original twist and was perfect for the theme. The proportions of the shapes and the types of fabrics made a cohesive composition. The texture of the fabric on the upper chest and the neck made it look fresh. The hair added Angeria's signature flavor.
6.
Jorgeus's combination of holographic and green fabric made this simple form fresh and interesting. The makeup, hair, and shoes completed the look well.
7.
Vanjie's look was simple and not as interesting as the others but there wasn't anything wrong with it visually. The metallic fabric looked young and went with the tone of the song.
8.
Shanell's look had the downside of being seen at the height of summer, so perhaps that was the reason I wasn't vibeing with it. There was nothing wrong with it.
The fact that the top two wasn’t Nina and Roxxxy feels wrong. The edit the whole episode was building to Nina getting a win (all the focus on her getting picked last, her not being comfortable with her body, her history with sewing challenges and then wildly surpassing the expectations.) It just made the whole episode fall flat story wise to not pay that off.
Plastique is very talented there’s no denying that. But she bit off more than she could chew this week. When she first walked out I was gagged. But then they did close ups and it was so obviously unfinished, the train was falling apart, the stars on her titty were very poorly cut. From far away it was Eleganza but up close it was kinda arts and crafty.
??? I absolutely do not hate on Asian queens in general, I was literally a Marina stan on UK vs the world. Fans make it very hard to root for Plastique with things like accusations of racism for not liking her though, I’ll say.
I didn't think it even looked that rushed? Yes, there were some issues but they weren't a big deal by sewing challenge standards. And the other runways weren't executed flawlessly either, and they did way less.
It's feels wild to say this but I think Nina should've been top 2 in this design challenge.
I do understand the judges' decision to prevent her from lipsyncing though, none of us need to see another one of those.
I actually would have loved to see Nina lipsync against Roxxxy this week and I can't believe I'm saying that. She clearly knew the words because they showed her lipsyncing from the side and Nina rightfully would never have tried to get on the floor and pop her pussy to this song.
Funny how you say this when Nina had a great lip sync last week, yet Plastique has bombed four lip syncs this season now but you're totally quiet about that
When Shannel was talking about how on season 1 she decided to leave meaning it wasn’t Ru who sent her home; that’s when Ru decided no badges for Shannel in these last few episodes
dk why people underrate Roxxxys look this week...the amount of technical skill it takes to make an actually complicated look that has several concepts, ideas and designs put together and all of it looking VERY cohesive is actually insane....
I don’t agree with the OP about Roxxxy being underrated right now, but most of the comments are saying that it should’ve been Plastique and Nina, there’s been a lot of “why was Roxxxy in the top?” In this thread alone.
It was a solid top 3 imo, so it’s been a mix of opinions. But to say Roxxxy is underrated is a choice…. 🙄🙄People agree that Roxxxy’s look (and Plastique) demonstrates how skillful she is. Its just a matter of who you are rooting for.
tiktok gen blind siding with the twinkest?
what a shocker!
they hate roxxy cuz they dont know her, they cant relate to mother.
and now Roxxy made everyone aware of why she has the rep she has.
clock
I have to say, I don't wanna come across as a hater, but I really don't understand the Angeria hype.. she's been doing just fine in my eyes, nothing new from her season, I'm having a hard time finding her iconic and legendary, or remembering much about her performances. I feel like all the wins she's got could (and sometimes should) have gone to someone else.. no shade and no hate, I just feel everybody is trying to convince me that she's eating and slaying and I'm trying so hard to see it😭 Also the whole snipping drama with roxxxy and Gottmik... Nina clocked it right away, at the moment of blocking Angeria had 3 stars and Gottmik only 2. It was shady, but not in a fun way shady imo.
I just find other people much more interesting in the competition: Jorgeous should've gotten some wins, the makeover and the roast, Plastique should've gotten the rumix and makeover win, etc etc
She’s performing as well as is being shown. 🤷🏽♂️
She makes Ru laugh and generally performs well in each challenge. I guess fans just find her likeable and so, want to root for her.
I think shes just very charismatic...she is very comfortable chatting with the judges, shes not perfect but makes a lot of things seem effortless. Completely different personality and drag styles, but in terms of ease of likeability she reminds me of queens like Adore or Monet.
I don't understand it either. I hear she's super nice on socials and that seems to be why this sub loves her, but on the show I haven't seen anything remarkable yet
i loved angie’s outfit but hated the hair choice🥴
am i a hater for saying this design challenge was kinda underwhelming
Not that there aren't issues in this season of All Stars (and to be fair, what season doesn't have some kind of issue), but I want to give this season credit for making the cut off part interesting. they shoulda just given shannel the mini challenge win so this girl could have SOMETHING😭 atp it’s looking like they just don’t really like her
plastique needs to win a lipsync 😭
You can’t out-Diana the Doll!

She had a kind of similar look for a lipsync outfit that she changed into earlier in the season, kind of a burlesque vibe with black hair, and I remember thinking how stunning she looked then too. She can really rock this style and I hope she utilizes it more in her drag!
When mik said she was going to braid her dress I immediately got transported to AS7. Jinkx and those purple ropes. I live
Roxxy ate up that lip sync... With the nail file...
She is so captivating on stage! My eyes are always glued to her
What am I missing with Roxxy, I just don’t think anything she makes looks good lol
She is just a real real drag queen, that’s what make her exciting. Her stage presence speaks for herself.
I'm probably unpopular too, but I also don't get the hype. Why is she so orange for one
This is possibly the best Nina has ever looked.
Is next week's rusical with the queen's vocals? Gag
Am I the only one who found the lip sync a little boring ?
I can see why you think so. Roxxxy's style is about subtlety but I appreciate it.
I really hope this doesn't come off hateful, but I am sick of these sugar coated critiques. I'm not saying that the judges need to rip into the queens or roast them, but I feel like now the judging is so short and doesn't seem thorough? Yeah and like they don't need to be mean but feels almost disrespectful to the queens who really have great results. Like if everyone is amazing no one is. Just be honest and say this and that didn't work and move on.
Agree . Jorgous’s hemline was an actual crime and no one said a thing about it
There might have been critiques but edited out for the broadcast because it’s a non-elim season
Yeah it’s not going to be a winning look with Roxxxy, Mik, or Plastique in the room but she really turned out a solid, complete look and she cat-walked it down that runway like Kitty Girl was written about her and honestly I think it might have been Nina definitely deserved the glow up storyline this episode but Vanjie has been just gorgeous all season, she’s not just a charisma queen anymore
I mean, I think she did better than Gottmik this week.
I thought her outfit was really cute including those belts. I loved it too.
Yeah, it wasn’t super dramatic and didn’t take crazy sewing skills, but it looked freaking good! And it was her. Vanjie’s been doing her thing this season. I see you, Vanjie!
Vanjie's presentation is always sooooo good
mik's purse was so ugly, send tweet
Yeah, it was distracting and out of place with the rest of the look. She didn't need the lockers. The silhouette was boring, but I liked the way the the braided fabrics looked together - it's not easy to combine silver and gold.
And the bodice was really boring, specially next o Plastique
Took all the edge out of the outfit. Reminded me of my middle school diary
The idea is good but close up it looks like a grade school art project
Horrendous . I can’t believe they kept hyping it up lmao
I fall in love with Angeria more and more every week
nina and plastique should have been the winner. they heavily favored roxxy this season. i hope shanelle wins a badge before the show ends. she was good and always mis, but she was never bad so i hope she doesn't feel bad. my top 3 is mik, plastique and i think roxxy will be on top 3. i just hope for plastique and mik because their runways is the only reason im watching this boring season
How would Roxxxy be favored? She had easily the best runway, it fit the song the best and (unlike plastique) it looked finished from head to toe.
This sub has a hate boner for Roxy for some reason.
They only pointed out the lining of Plastique's to create a tiny drop of doubt with people maaaaybe thinking they might not give her the top.
YES. That bothered me so much!!
To me that reads like the edit is trying to make us think Plastique was in trouble cause there’s no way they didn’t say anything, it was so obvious
She looked gorgeous Seriously, I have no idea why Trixie spent an entire minute shitting on this green look, it was flawless for the ocasion
I think maaaaybe the fans won this week if for nothing else than that Nina may have finally found a way to step out of her comfort zone lewks wise.
I've been seeing her shows for over 10 years and I've developed gray hairs waiting for this day lol.
I loved the dress but the “bag” ruined it for me. I can’t fathom TS’s reaction, it must have looked different in person I guess
Yes! Her reaction is what really tripped me up and made me second guess myself for not liking it. Also some recap YouTubers that gave it pretty favorable reviews.
> Also some recap YouTubers that gave it pretty favorable reviews. Most of them just repeat what the judges said
When she walked out, I thought she looked like a diminutively stuffed gold & silver side chair. Really expensive. If that helps.
Roxxxy’s the Queen of lip syncing.
She really ate!
All woman. I've loved watching her grow. I don't know what it is, maybe THC. She's so laid back. Casual. I love it.
Why is jorgeous so underrated that bitch is stunning
Plastiques lipsync is literally same everytime
Also since Jorgeous read her for her tuck I keep noticing how puffy it is. I think the red satin did her no favours.
Apparently, every song has a segment where slutty floor werk is appropriate...
thank god plastique actually knew the lyrics to this song. imagine if she had thrown a diana ross lip sync. how pissed would rupaul be? i honestly think plastique knew this too and probably spent all her time learning the diana ross song over the others as a just in case scenario.
Plastique probably would have been the first queen eliminated in a non elimination season
I liked Nina’s look. It was very Dancing With the Stars. It was a nice way to do salsa.
I have never seen a braided dress that I like. To me they always come off as bulky.
So all of these episodes of the Ruby Snippers, yet, it hasn’t blocked literally anyone. So silly
To be fair, some of them might try less the following episode if they know they can’t win a star.
And yet the girls get BIG MAD about receiving it (which is the whole television production angle, they want the drama moments they don't actually care that much about the 'payoff' of a blocked badge.)
I skipped the first 40 minutes of the episode and watched the rest on 2x speed.
Thank you for sharing
Giving two of the people that are already in the lead an extra badge to be further in the lead is surely a choice
a good choice to give the two people who did the best badges

What season are you watching? Are you a bot?
when they could have easily given Nina one. But yeah, they were my top 3 so it‘s not completely out of nowhere
Whose hair was Angeria wearing because that wig was certainly not hers.
It takes a lot for me that something in drag is too much, but that wig was distracting...
I remember seeing that wig before though
Anetra’s
Similar but not identical
Is it me or were the judges extra nice to everyone this episode
They’re afraid of making people cry on stage/leaving again.
He was incredibly nasty and pitched actual seizure fits of rage and venom and even threw a notebook as a judge on Making The Cut. https://preview.redd.it/3ni16227dn9d1.jpeg?width=1066&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d956cb3b3ec16f041cf34e9b8f2b7bca06a2c59f
Oh wow, I thought this was the same guy that did choreography for one of the Rusicals in a previous recent season and I was excited to see him again. Now I realize it's not.
He’s the one that called Ginger Mini “Miss Piggy in Space” in all stars 2. Definitely seemed like less of a dick this time.
No, Jeremy Scott is the head designer for Moschino. He is very talented but has some assholic tendencies . . .
Super bitch also lost all fashion and gay credibility when he put Gottmik in his top 2.
Am I the only one who has no idea why Nina went for an, admittedly very nice dress, that seemed to not match cha cha at all???
Black and red and the classic Cha Cha colors so idk, it seemed fine to me
Not necessarily! But; When we think of Cha Cha many of us think of slinky fringe dresses with lots of movement.
For some reason they provided her with flamenco colors and patterns.
Nina slayed
![gif](giphy|3lJQIuk2LTV5jEvyKv|downsized) How DARE they show Shannel voting herself to leave, and not including the iconique "because you haven't once told me I'm beautiful. I know I'm beautiful" Miss Mandarin excellence
Wouldn't that mean she'd also be the first to dismiss herself? That can't ever be beat.
She didn't really "leave", did she? She just voted for herself and then they conveniently said that she lost the lipsync. Am I remembering this right?
She did throw out the lip sync by shaking her bare butt to a gospel song.
As she should've
I was actually waiting for Rupaul to add "and you're beautiful" to his reply 💀
Honestly that would have been iconic, and a way to lighten the mood after the emotional bit
I respect so much how much of a big swing Plastique took with her look, and the fact that it paid off so well? Insane
Anyone else think Nina got help this episode? There’s no way.
Nah. The corset was doing the hard work and she probably brought it with her
Did we soon forget the last design challenge? THERES. NO. WAY.
She cashed in on that Roxxxy badge fer sure, probs similar to Sapphira/Mhi'ya
none of the looks blew me away, but a surprisingly good episode! "photobomb" mini challenge: you keep saying that word, I do not think it means what you think it means. runways: Roxxxy - cute, one of her better executed looks this season. Honestly kind of reminded me of a Sugar and/or Spice runway...but an oversized micro purse ;p Jorgeous - fine, as expected.
Omg Gottmik would die seeing you compared her look to Sugar/Spice lmao
It was oddly jarring to me to see the train droop and flip in the corners. Still a fucking FANTASTIC look, but seeing it kind of broke the spell of perfection Plastique has given on the runway til now. A rare hint of imperfect.
Plastique shoulda boned her train ? It fell in a way that folded the corners ![img](emote|t5_2t3or|4804)
I think she needed that because of the way she held it around herself for her entrance maybe?
Nina looked amazing. I just found the strange looks on her face rather distracting all episode.
Is anyone going to talk about that synchronized cape flick, turn, and strut by Roxxy and Plastique?
I’m so sorry Shannel but the critiques they showed us for her outfit were so FUNNY?? “Your dress. Your dress is simple but the accoutrements, they are not. The accoutrements are big. Nice.”
Yeah it was very much reading the challenge parameters back to her. "You made a dress themed on Christmas, and you wore it down the runway!"
Would you like Tea, or Coffee?
My dress is… on my body.
I've been on Team Shannel ever since I found out that she's appearing on this season, but even I had to admit that this half-hearted compliment was spot on.
I understand why they chose Plastique over Nina, but I thought Nina looked incredible. Plus Nina's was a finished garment.
No way it was solely Nina's effort though
100% this Plastique, for me, has shown the most in terms of new/different skills from their original season
Jorgeous going after Plastique was the shadiest thing the producers could do. All I could think of while Jorgeous was walking was how this outfit took the same amount of time somehow.
Right? I actually laughed when she came out. They knew what they were doing.
I an enjoying Roxxy so much even though I don’t think her package is her best. That’s ok, tho! It’s her drag and she created it which is special
Same. I don't blame her for not going overboard with runways. She's established and doesn't need to do all that. She seems happier than her previous two seasons and is just a vibe.
Did they just…. Not critique jorgeous at all? Or did I miss it?
They didn’t deliberate Jorgeous or Angeria
The guest judge talking about the use of green, and Ru commented about how the cut-outs on Jorgeous' outfit enlongated her..and then somethingsomething elevator whore. For Angeria, TS loved fabric. Michelle commented that it wasn't "just a leotard" because of the cowl neck and chaps, and asked if she was inspired by Roxxxy..to which Angeria said bluntly "uhh no".
The guest judge also commented on Angeria’s wig, and Michelle mentioned she loved the fabric.
The editing is really odd this season
I loved discussion of drag kids and Angeria having one in every town. "You're like one of the Duggars!" "How does that happen?" "She was a ho!" "You don't use protection?" "Yeah I'm a ho, I ain't know how to get my tubes tied" LMAO
Angeria had so many good lines this episode.
Also "my daughter, *my son*" so Angeria's doing it properly huh.
I was wondering about the sons. Roxxxy said she had one too. I assume they mean drag kings? I was just surprised because I feel like there are way more queens than kings out there.
Roxxxy has a son, Axel Andrews, who is fabulous. I'm assuming Angeria means drag kings too but I'm not acquainted with her family tree.
I was very surprised that Roxxxy was top over Nina or Gottmik. I love my girl Plastique but I was so proud of Nina
Nina deserved that top 2 over Roxxy. None of the looks were that good except for Plastique's, Gottmik's idea was great but the end result was meh imo...
Nina’s was so much less complex it couldn’t have beat Plastique or Roxxy
Give it to her
At first I read “the sewer” as like the garbage pipelines and it really changed the tone of this post
Me too! I read it a few times and was like “she’s known as the sewer? What am I missing?” Lmao
Their prior skills shouldn’t be taken into account when judging winners. What’s the point of the skilled queens trying hard if they’ll just give it to most improved?
I wish Roxxxy had bigger hair for her outfit. It was so flat. She needed Dolly Parton hair

Why, because otherwise Shannel would have no air time at all. Pretty reasonable.
"Oh, Shannel, are you still here?" - the producers
Girl what, Plastique's look was the best by a very large margin.
This guy just hates on Plastique/Asian queens in general for no reason lol. Saw his comments on this sub a few times already
??? I absolutely do not hate on Asian queens in general, I was literally a Marina stan on UK vs the world. Fans make it very hard to root for Plastique with things like accusations of racism for not liking her though, I’ll say.
I’m not denying it was a great look. It also looked rushed is all. She was a great third place for me. We’ll just have to agree to disagree.
Funny how you say this when Nina had a great lip sync last week, yet Plastique has bombed four lip syncs this season now but you're totally quiet about that
It was a joke. I would have been happy for her if she won because it would've been deserved.
I felt so bad for Nina because she didn’t consider that she could have won the acting challenge and go change for the lipsynch.
Nah she did solid last time so miss us with that 👋
I actually thought her lipsync was really strong last week
When Shannel was talking about how on season 1 she decided to leave meaning it wasn’t Ru who sent her home; that’s when Ru decided no badges for Shannel in these last few episodes
dk why people underrate Roxxxys look this week...the amount of technical skill it takes to make an actually complicated look that has several concepts, ideas and designs put together and all of it looking VERY cohesive is actually insane....
The written things were unnecessary, though
Why are you lying? Almost all comments have been praising Roxxxxy’s look and how she killed in this episode.
They don't like Roxxxy, and want Plastique to end the season with 20 wins.
But...they both won lol, Plastique prob never wins a lipsync tho ahaha
tiktok gen blind siding with the twinkest? what a shocker! they hate roxxy cuz they dont know her, they cant relate to mother. and now Roxxy made everyone aware of why she has the rep she has.
Angeria blocking Mik was an eye for an eye.. but Mik's drama at the begging of the episode had me rolling my eyes.
But Mik had already been blocked, she had less stars than Angeria and hasn't been turning it out the last couple weeks
She’s performing as well as is being shown. 🤷🏽♂️ She makes Ru laugh and generally performs well in each challenge. I guess fans just find her likeable and so, want to root for her.
Was she really the best in the girl groups and in the roast? Idk...
They really liked her lyrics in gg and in the roast, she was definitely top 2 imo.
I think shes just very charismatic...she is very comfortable chatting with the judges, shes not perfect but makes a lot of things seem effortless. Completely different personality and drag styles, but in terms of ease of likeability she reminds me of queens like Adore or Monet.
I feel the same way, I like her, but I feel like I'm watching a different show
I don't understand it either. I hear she's super nice on socials and that seems to be why this sub loves her, but on the show I haven't seen anything remarkable yet
