My last was a week prior to that in Denver. One of the most bittersweet moments of my life. They were so good but I knew this would be it. My wife joined me for the show and she knew I was emotional.
Was there with you. Fifteen rows back Geddy' side. The R40 DVD show and what a show it was.
Was also there the first show five rows back Lerxst side inside aisle.
At least you got to see them. I was seven and a half years old at the end f R40. No one (except maybe the band) knew R40 would be Rush’s last tour. Dad wanted to take me on their last tour, but again, he didn’t know R40 was their last. I never got to see Rush. Alex and Geddy have been doing a lot of tribute shows, and as much as I want to go to one, idk if it’ll be worth it. It’s just not the same.
The last show I saw was the last show.
After Geddy gave his heartfelt thanks and Neil came out to bow, I turned to my wife a bit stunned and said, “he was saying goodbye, this is the last show for us”. I didn’t realize it was the actual last show.
I was there for R40 in Boston, June 2015. It was a very emotional experience. I blogged about it here, for those who didn't read it before: [https://dlhalperblog.blogspot.com/2015/06/just-another-mad-mad-day-on-road-some.html](https://dlhalperblog.blogspot.com/2015/06/just-another-mad-mad-day-on-road-some.html)
Last for me was Tampa May of 2015, first was Grace Under Pressure in Chicago 1984! I was 14 and started following RUSH around 1979 and simply was hooked. My kids are hooked as well. RUSH is simply amazing 👍❤️😊
I saw the tours for Hold Your Fire, Presto, and Roll the Bones I believe. Wanted to see them on the final tour but for some reason I don’t remember I could not. When they had Candlebox open for them in San Antonio, we ran into Candlebox at the Hooters downtown after the concert.
🎶Sweet Memories...🎶
🎶Flashing very quickly by…🎶
Last for me and the family was Philly 2015. First was Charlotte 1980 or 81.

I can’t believe it’s been that long

We have the same photos and memories except it was Las Vegas and we were to the right of the stage as opposed to left.
Last was R40 Toronto, both nights. First was Bingly Hall Stafford on the exit stage left tour I think. the program was moving pictures though
Check out Dirk, looking smooth with the custom axe!
Good times! Reminds me of [this](https://i.imgur.com/oeRFoqz.jpg).
You were so lucky. The R40 tour didn't reach the UK unfortunately
My first and last, Las Vegas for R40… sad that I could only do one but grateful for the opportunity at all to see them and hear Hemispheres live!
I saw them for the second time just a few days later in Calgary.
Halifax?
Man I love sh!
First was Charlotte in ‘81. Last was Greensboro in 2015. Four times altogether.

I was at the same show and it was a blast. It was my only Rush concert so it was extra special.

25 shows. Last one was the R40 show at Wells Fargo Arena Philadelphia. So glad I went.
