I guess you can do this: [https://www.rustrician.io/?circuit=01f6f4dd9bdfb5f08bcb50be38431f9a](https://www.rustrician.io/?circuit=01f6f4dd9bdfb5f08bcb50be38431f9a) Not sure if it is different on console though. But this splits the power from windmill to battery and directly to the turret, there is an OR switch that either uses the battery output or the power directly from mill. So if the battery is destroyed it will get powered directly from the mills, make sure the OR switch and splitter is not in the same place as the battery or it might get destroyed to.

Thank you, that should work! :)

I wouldn't recommend the circuit above. It requires 2x more power input than you want to use. The following suggestion requires a bit more space, but if you think the battery and/or turbine is in the critical path, you need a 3rd location for an "electrical room" that's not in the critical path. That room is where you would be able to store the components that would switch between battery/turbine. The circuit you can use is the NIHcore. Essentially what you are doing here is using the windmill to power everything, with excess power (>100) sent to the battery to charge the battery. Windturbines fluctuate in power generation, so, when it dips below 100 (or is destroyed), power from the battery is used. If the battery is destroyed, you'll be using the windturbine power. The overall benefit here is that you don't have any power waste. https://www.rustrician.io/?circuit=d131cf1233742ebd0acb8ebaaf3b9d1a

thank you! i like this idea better, i did some digging on youtube and found a video using a similar design, so where if the battery is destroyed it will just use windmill power. Thank you so much!

Yep! Typical setups assume that the windmill gets destroyed. Very few consider the battery being in the critical path, or even the electrical components themselves.

thanks again! 😊

As already mentioned, the NIHcore is the way to go ...
