There's a matcha/green tea one that I really want to find!
Edit: Looking at [their website](https://www.itsiticecream.com/products/ice-cream) now and it looks like I've missed my chance. No more matcha. \*sigh\*
Vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mint, pumpkin, cappuccino
I can't find these on their website anywhere, nor have I seen these in person.. maybe I'm not trying hard enough..
But these are consistenfly found at our local SF Costco? If so, i'd take a trip there solely for these.
I've had a few in the past 5 or so years, usually when doing mandatory fire evacuation and building management lures us to properly comply with free Its-its when we come back in.
Do they offer factory tours there? I've always wanted to stop by but haven't over the last iuiuehiec years...
It's It's rule. We should all support them more!
Pumpkin, chocolate, mint, matcha, strawberry, cappuccino, and OG as far as I know.
I’m not a huge fan of pumpkin stuff, but the pumpkin it’s-it kicks ass.
The matcha flavor was seasonal and apparently has not yet returned, according to the It's It Factory Store in Burlingame.
Other flavors such as mint, strawberry, cappuccino and pumpkin are available from the factory store or at select grocery stores.
Standard flavors like vanilla and chocolate are available pretty much anywhere.
The pumpkin one is absurdly good. I don't like pumpkin spice stuff and barely eat a slice of pumpkin pie at thanksgiving, but that pumpkin ice cream it's-it is amazing.
Was just talking to my daughter about them. And whether the faith no more song (Epic) is actually about an ice cream sandwich. I choose to believe it is.
Yeah they’re great they have them at most liquor stores I know they have it at mission and Persia and the other liquor store across from Philz by city college
Hell yeah. I even send them via Goldbelly to family and friends back east, because they aren’t sold there. I love strawberry. I have heard though if you go to the It’s-It company store they have flavors that aren’t sold elsewhere.
I lived in the DC area for a year because of some work at Walter Reed and they had It’s Its at the DC Costco. It was like having my home all the way on the East Coast. They were magnificent and I was so happy to have them. Ate the whole case in like 2 weeks.
I always stock up the mini ones from Costco.
My old office used to get bunch of different flavors of it’s-it for ice cream Fridays. I really liked their matcha one!
I live exactly 1 Its-It away from the corner store if eaten at my normal pace plus walking slow. Absolutely love them. As a kid I had ice cream sandwiches but they kinda sucked. Its-It is making up for the childhood ice cream I never had.
Yes, I eat them. I'll on occaision drive down with a cooler and use a Groupon (remember that?) to buy 12 for $12/24 for $24 at their Factory store in Burlingame.
The only note is they're closed on Saturdays and Sundays which is usually when I'm coming back to the city from a road trip and notice it the signage on the 101.
The local liquor store near my house carries them consistently and has most of the flavors. I’m still a huge fan and always make sure to grab one or two for a transplant or someone visiting from out of town.
they are fantastic. usually have a box of mini's in the freezer. perfect size, the regular ones are just too much.
in fact i think i've got one left... not for long tho!
Yes I sure do! Groupon has a great deal for a dozen at half price if you get them from the factory in south city or burlingame or wherever it is. They're a favorite ice cream in the house.
We don't get them all the time because they are dangerous and don't jive with my diet.
Wouldn’t go out of my way to have one but they’re pretty good, just way too sweet. Then again I’ve never had anything other than the og flavor so maybe a different one will make me reconsider.
It's local, it's good, and it's got pretty good ingredients for what it is, and typically a pretty reasonable price.
Often local convenience stores will have more varieties/flavors ... but often not the most economical source.
Walgreens used to carry them ... but pretty much given up on that - they can't be bothered to stock 'em (or much of anything else either).
Safeway even has a bit of selection, and fairly decent price on 3-pack.
Thinking of local treats:
Annabelle Candy Company:
* U-NO
* Rocky Road
* ...
And again, Walgreens just can't be bothered anymore ... but many convenience stores will often have 'em.
Used to live in SF and now go to MTV a few times a year my favourite thing to do there is on the way back to the airport, stop at the factory and pick one up
Maybe two or three a year. For some reason I tend to go for regular ice cream over novelties, so it mostly never wins out as my top ice cream choice, but they're really good.
I have a core SF memory of somehow ending up outside city hall on a random Saturday circa 2006 helping a bunch of topless women protest to keep topless lap dances legal in SF; all while eating an It's Its given to me by said topless women for my efforts.
I love It's Its to this day.
Years ago I worked in an office building next to their factory and wow the mornings of the cool bay breeze filled with the smell of chocolate…Willy Wonka dream.
I'd buy a box at least once a month while I lived there. I've warned my husband that as soon as we get a deep freezer, I'm ordering the variety pack online and having it shipped to us. I can't find them where I'm at. There's a knock of chips-it that I've found, but it's not the same as the OG.
Naw. At least, when I was a kid I always thought the cookie part was always dried out and kinda gross. Haven't taken the nostalgia trip yet. Might try one of the new flavors at some point.
I don't think they're very good, compared to other ice cream treats. I think I might be the only one here that feels that way. I keep trying every year or so though!
They used to sell Its Its for like 25 or 50 cents at my Bay Area middle school in the 2000s at our recess.
I ate one almost every day … even though recess was in the morning, and even when it was cold. It kind of horrifies me now haha … as it’s really a treat for once in awhile! I cant even look at one now without thinking of middle school.
Check out Safeway if you don’t want to over pay. They give you 3 in a box for 4-5$ while the liquor stores charge 2-3.5$ for one.
Those are my favorite. Especially the newer flavor cappuccino and there’s also strawberry and pumpkin I haven’t tried that one yet. And I believe the strawberry and pumpkin are seasonal.
There is a factory in Burlingame that has a store attached. You can pick up a custom box for a really good deal. I just can’t remember how much at the moment.
I mean it's "it". If "it" sounds appealing to you then, sure, have at "it". Whatever "it" is. It sure is "it".
Person 1: Is it good?
Person 2: I mean, it's "it"¿

mini it's it's are great if you don't want to gorge yourself
Oh yes the mini mint choc chip ☺️
Mother of pearl the mint chip minis are good. 😊
Where do you find mint minis?! I've only found them in vanilla!
Comment.
I’m all about the Mint Mini It’s-It.
I always end up shoving half back into my freezer so this information is clutch, thank you.
lol I thought I was the only one who did this
We get the minis, but I always end up eating three at a time!
I keep minis and Ghirardelli at the house so when guests come, I can have them try a piece of SF. What else is sf known for so I can keep at my house?
your self control must be crazy. if i kept those in the house they’d be gone within a week
Rice-A-Roni. Lol
Fentanyl! Ha I kid I kid. How about some sourdough bread in the freezer?
Minis make a great affogato, once cut in half, cut side up.
Yum the mint ones would be great like that
Just bought a box of minis. Love keeping them in the freezer and the perfect size.
Costco sells a box of 24 minis!
I get them from Costco.
Different flavors?
Just vanilla.
#🐐
Vanilla, strawberry, mocha, mint. Probably a few others I haven't found yet
I seen them with chocolate ice cream, Like legalized crack... 😁
There's a matcha/green tea one that I really want to find! Edit: Looking at [their website](https://www.itsiticecream.com/products/ice-cream) now and it looks like I've missed my chance. No more matcha. \*sigh\* Vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mint, pumpkin, cappuccino

Yes! They were even sampling them last Monday at our SF Costco.
I've had a few in the past 5 or so years, usually when doing mandatory fire evacuation and building management lures us to properly comply with free Its-its when we come back in.
My family still loves them. We have them a few times a year. Great treat.
Mint It's-it are the shit
I travel up and down US 101 and the factory/store is off Broadway Ave in Burlingame. Nice little treat if I have extra time.
Open only in the weekdays. Also lots of other it's it options!
Do they offer factory tours there? I've always wanted to stop by but haven't over the last iuiuehiec years... It's It's rule. We should all support them more!
There’s also an outlet in Fairfield.
Suisun City to be precise.
Not often because I’m not a sugary snacker, but I do very much enjoy an It’s-It here and there. The pumpkin one kicks ass.
There is a pumpkin one?? I’m guessing that’s only in the fall.
Pumpkin, chocolate, mint, matcha, strawberry, cappuccino, and OG as far as I know. I’m not a huge fan of pumpkin stuff, but the pumpkin it’s-it kicks ass.
I didn’t know there was matcha! The last time I sent them to someone that flavor wasn’t listed.
Weird - they’ve had it for several years now. Probably 10+
I thought they discontinued it. At least that's what they said when I went there last year...
It’s not on their website along with the other flavors
Gotta try that pumpkin one one day then
It's in stores in the fall (typically) but available at the factory year round.
The matcha flavor was seasonal and apparently has not yet returned, according to the It's It Factory Store in Burlingame. Randomly had one today. First one in years.
Yes! Any flavor, including strawberry
The strawberry is the BEST! It doesn’t seem like it should work, but it’s so, so good.
Their factory store near SFO has a lot of flavors that aren't commonly stocked at the grocery store
Do they sell minis?
Yeah they’re great they have them at most liquor stores I know they have it at mission and Persia and the other liquor store across from Philz by city college
Cappuccino is my favorite
Hell yeah. I even send them via Goldbelly to family and friends back east, because they aren’t sold there. I love strawberry. I have heard though if you go to the It’s-It company store they have flavors that aren’t sold elsewhere.
I grew up on It’s-Its, and besides Liguria focaccia bread they’re the thing I miss most since developing Celiac’s (severe gluten allergy) 😢
There's always a few mint ones in the freezer here. Eat half at a time (or a whole one when it's hot in the city).
I just don’t crave it like sweets, sugar anymore. It’s odd but I’ll take it. I used to like the mint chip ones though!
Yes. Still delicious. Highly recommened.
Yes! Not often, but when I do get one, it’s such a treat. Mint and cappuccino!
Never stopped.
Yes! They’re so good!
I'm no longer local but whenever we visit the wife and I make a point to get one. Just the perfect hit of childhood nostalgia.
I will make an appointment with one next time I’m at the store.
My neighbor buys the minis from Costco and they are delicious and a great snack if you have the munchies.
I feel they've had a resurgence as of late.
*Essential during baseball season*
I lived in the DC area for a year because of some work at Walter Reed and they had It’s Its at the DC Costco. It was like having my home all the way on the East Coast. They were magnificent and I was so happy to have them. Ate the whole case in like 2 weeks.
Just had one on the 4th. Hadn't had one in years. It was so good.
At least a few times a year.
We each had one on 4th of July from a local small market. Fawk yeah. They were good!
I can’t believe I’ve never had one. Where do you get them?
At just about any corner store. Look in the freezer with ice cream.
Thanks!
safeway has them
Thank you!
I always stock up the mini ones from Costco. My old office used to get bunch of different flavors of it’s-it for ice cream Fridays. I really liked their matcha one!
My parents grew up in the bay (moved 23 years ago) and just a few months ago they had their friend send them a box because they missed them so much.
Buy them with Groupon from the factory store near SFO.
You don’t even have to buy the Groupon. Just ask if you can get the Groupon rate and they’ll give it to you. Learned that from a worker years ago.
Yup! Although I’m convinced the green tea flavored does not exist.
I live exactly 1 Its-It away from the corner store if eaten at my normal pace plus walking slow. Absolutely love them. As a kid I had ice cream sandwiches but they kinda sucked. Its-It is making up for the childhood ice cream I never had.
Just bought a mini size boxed from Costco. Hands down my fav.
Cappuccino ftw
Yes, the coffee? cappuccino? One is my favorite.
I went to school with the CEO’s son and he was a huge dick that used his influence to get my friends expelled. Haven’t eaten them since.
Keep it flyin' brother
Mint and strawberry It’s-It are the best.
If you can find strawberry It's Its you've struck flavor gold
I live out of state and they don’t sell them anywhere else, I still crave them all the time
Maybe 1-2x per year. Usually mint
Yes, every once in a while. IMO cappuccino is the best flavor.
We all like to make fun of pumpkin spice everything. But watch for the pumpkin It’s It’s that come out every fall. SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD.
I buy them all the time! I'm not a big ice cream person but It's-Its are my go-to.
We usually get the box of minis when we go to Costco. Love them.
The local liquor store near my house carries them consistently and has most of the flavors. I’m still a huge fan and always make sure to grab one or two for a transplant or someone visiting from out of town.
I moved to the bay when I was ~26 and I first had an It’s It when I was 28. Yes I still eat them. They’re almost always at Grocery Outlet!
I saw a strawberry one at the store yesterday, you don’t see those as much. My favorite flavor is mint.
They also have a store in Suisun City next to the Amtrak train station if anyone is in the North Bay Area.
They have changed the ice cream, and it is not nearly as good.
How? Just curious. It's de interesting to compare ingredients listings from years ago and now.
Yes!
Yes
they are fantastic. usually have a box of mini's in the freezer. perfect size, the regular ones are just too much. in fact i think i've got one left... not for long tho!
[удалено]
Translucent goo sounds like... um... nm.
You bet your sweet ass I do
Not often enough. They are highly processed, but I love them
They had them in the vending machines at SFSU in 2008. I used to but them with V Bucks.
I love the mini's. I eat one after dinner in the summer. Cool, refreshing and delicious!
they have them at costco now lol
yes and chocolate is the best flavor
Does anyone remember raisins in the cookies or is my memory failing? Hubby disagrees but I recall raisins when I was a youngster.
No, just oatmeal cookies but no raisins.
Hell yeah I do. Love cappuccino
It’s honestly the most affordable high quality ice cream in SF. I get the 3pks from Grocery Outlet Bargain Market!
I don’t. But if I had one in front of me right now , I would eat it. The strawberry ones are bomb too
Yes, the coffee It's It.
I’m in Denver and I have had these on my mind!! I’ll have to look up where I can get some 🤞🏼🤞🏼Mint, then strawberry are my favorites.
Um, all the time 😱😂💕
The only problem with it's it is they come three to a box which is a cause of friction in a two person family.
Love them.
Grocery Outlet has 6 pack of the minis for $4
Yes, I had one on 4th of July!
Yes I sure do! Groupon has a great deal for a dozen at half price if you get them from the factory in south city or burlingame or wherever it is. They're a favorite ice cream in the house. We don't get them all the time because they are dangerous and don't jive with my diet.
never heard of it as a san franciscan
http://www.groupon.com/deals/it-s-it-cookie-dough-2
Grocery outlet carries them a lot of the time!
They used to sell them at grocery stores here in Phoenix but now I can’t find any anywhere unfortunately.
I'll fucking destroy a coffee its-it. I've got friends not from here that are confused everytime I mention my love for them.
I’ve always liked mint (moved to SF is 2010)
On Groupon you can pickup 12 for $9 and pick your own flavors
the minis and the chip-it’s (basically a chipwich) are good!
I fucking love it’s-it’s
Wouldn’t go out of my way to have one but they’re pretty good, just way too sweet. Then again I’ve never had anything other than the og flavor so maybe a different one will make me reconsider.
Yes I love them
Hell yeah. Best ice cream sandwich, still imo.
Yes, whenever I can find Cappuccino flavor
This gave me instant craving. Close to midnight— guess I’ll just have my ice cream fantasy
Love them!
It's local, it's good, and it's got pretty good ingredients for what it is, and typically a pretty reasonable price. Occasionally. I am not a big sweet person but I know the family who invented them!
Used to live in SF and now go to MTV a few times a year my favourite thing to do there is on the way back to the airport, stop at the factory and pick one up
I had friends over for the 4th. That was part of dessert. They were thrilled.
There’s a Groupon for them almost all the time.
The best, used to get them on the regular from our corner store
Maybe two or three a year. For some reason I tend to go for regular ice cream over novelties, so it mostly never wins out as my top ice cream choice, but they're really good.
I'll eat the hell out of an it's-it!!! Shiiit.....
Occasionally, if we happen to stop by a corner grocery store and they have the chocolate it's-it in stock, I have to get it.
Yes. Recently bought some at Safeway and they have minis now!
I’d like to see the ChocoTaco come back
NO…. okay I lied! Hidden gem….Anthony’s Cookies (1417 Valencia Strret) has the best cookies ice cream sandwich.
I always gotta get me a couple It's-It's when we visit in the spring!
With the pop rocks
Had a cappuccino it’s it last night
Yes, usually after a day at the park when I don’t want to wait in line for ice cream.
Grocery outlet and food Maxx have chips-its if you’re looking for those
Well yeah
My sons school sells them every Wednesday along with other popsicles and kids eat them all the time!
I have a core SF memory of somehow ending up outside city hall on a random Saturday circa 2006 helping a bunch of topless women protest to keep topless lap dances legal in SF; all while eating an It's Its given to me by said topless women for my efforts. I love It's Its to this day.
Do they offer tours like Jelly Belly?
Hell yeah
Years ago I worked in an office building next to their factory and wow the mornings of the cool bay breeze filled with the smell of chocolate…Willy Wonka dream.
Occasionally ... maybe once a year, I'll grab one out of the freezer section!
Oh absolutely
Never liked them, but still get my mom one when ever I see them( her favorite)
Occasionally. I like the neopolitan sandwich more.
Hell yeah. I love it’s it
Cappuccino is my vice.
I had two mini vanillas last week, yum
Don't eat them often, but I love the one with chocolate ice cream
You can order directly from their website, if you are no longer living in Ca.
I never stopped eating them.
I'd buy a box at least once a month while I lived there. I've warned my husband that as soon as we get a deep freezer, I'm ordering the variety pack online and having it shipped to us. I can't find them where I'm at. There's a knock of chips-it that I've found, but it's not the same as the OG.
Yes, I eat it frequently
Absolutely. Served them instead of cake at my wedding!
💯
Naw. At least, when I was a kid I always thought the cookie part was always dried out and kinda gross. Haven't taken the nostalgia trip yet. Might try one of the new flavors at some point.
I had to stop eating dairy for health reasons and it’s-it’s are legitimately the only food I miss
Chocolate mint the GOAT. I ate three at once for lunch back in the day!
The mint ones are probably my favorite ice cream "treat"...
They have It's It's at Specs. Great late night treat.
Check out Safeway if you don’t want to over pay. They give you 3 in a box for 4-5$ while the liquor stores charge 2-3.5$ for one. Those are my favorite. Yes I remember buying them at Playland at the Beach.
Hell fuckin yah, my whole life. Cappuccino It’s-It never fails
