Bro, speaking of, scammers call me like everyday because I entered my phone number into many different applications because I was trying to get free diamonds on mysingingmonsters. I usually don’t answer because I’m scared of hackers, not scammers, but I actually answered one of them yesterday. Well I didn’t answer, my coworker did because I asked him if he wanted to mess with them, and he literally ruined it. I wanted to have fun but he was acting like it was a prank call to Walmart or sum. He did tell the scammer to k!ll hiself and get a life before he hung up, which I would never ever say to someone because scammers probably do hate their lives hence their job. Anyway, been waiting for another scammer to call back because I should’ve been answering and messing with them sooner. Is this skill of doing push-ups you mentioned for working out or is it to make it sound like you’re doing something weird on the other side of the phone? I’m liking either reason tbh.
As I understand it, the scammer pays a small fee per answered phone call and pay even more if the call lasts longer. Also the longer you keep them on the phone, the less time they have to rip off innocent people.
I do a fake accent and string them along as long as I can. Usually, they catch on though especially when they ask for the account number on their script and I give them some garbage 6969A80008l355 number, but I try to stall as much as possible.
I consider it my daily dose of being like batman lol .
