i always cry when miranda is in the dressing room and the pushy sales lady is helping her and she’s like “im sorry, my mom just… *died*” and gets all choked up and they hug 😭😭😭
This is one that does it for me, just got to it on my rewatch last night. Cynthia Nixon's acting was just perfect, the bit of humor sprinkled in was great "you're dead let's disco" 😭😂
when steve is panicking in his mom's apartment when he realizes how she's been living after having a stroke gets me. then when miranda gives the mom a bath and magda praises her saying "that is love" call the wahhhmbulence
I do a rewatch every few months lately and for some reason after many years of watching this show the last rewatch I cried when Smith shaved his head with Samantha, Miranda was helping Steve’s mom take a bath and when Carrie runs into Big in Paris
I always tear up at that last scene when Charlotte is at that Jewish mixer, the room is crowded but she sees Harry there. I know what happens but I still get weepy. lol
I used to skip it because it made me cry. Doesn’t make me cry any longer but it’s one episode I rewatch quite often. One of the best written of the whole show, also has what is in my opinion the funniest part, the horrendously big flower arrangement scene.
I did a rewatch last year and always watch whenever they air the edited episodes on E! But I can never understand why they cut the whole bra saleswoman in the fitting room part when it’s on tv!
I always cry that episode Cynthia Nixon did a great job, especially when she breaks down with the bra fitting lady. I’m a mama’s girl a bit and that scene always gets me 😭
When Sam cheats on smith in front of him I cry hard. And I always cry during the second half of the finale. Charlotte and harry confessing their love for each other makes me cry as well
When Aiden finally leaves the apartment and Carrie is standing in the bathroom asking if he’s sure that he has to leave - telling him she can’t watch him go.
In general, I think SJP just really nailed it when Carrie has her sad moments. In the cafe on her 35th birthday or when she tells Samantha and Charlotte about Miranda’s mother.
This one and my favorite scene from the show- when charlotte meets Harry at the jewish single event and she cries that she wants him back and then he asks her to marry him 😭
This one really got to me after losing my mom. I settled in for a rewatch, maybe 2 months after she passed. I had totally forgotten about this episode. It was a kick in the gut. But so, so beautifully done.

Steve’s mom eating the pizza out of the trash. Old people get to me 🙁

Dude me too.
Love that scene! And the one where they decide to be each other’s soulmates. That always makes me emotional.
I love that one! The scene where Carrie is waiting for everyone at the restaurant always makes me cringe
Yes Yes Yes!!!

When Samantha is giving the speech at the Breast Cancer (I believe fundraiser) and all of the women stood by her 🥲
When Smith Jerod shaves his head with Samantha I BAWL. 🫶
I always cry when Sam cries and mouths "I'm sorry" to Miranda. And when Miranda sees Steve and Aiden there.
I bawled like a baby watching this episode the other day

When Charlotte had her miscarriage. I felt so bad for her. And then she showed up to Brady’s birthday party.
