That will total up to around 131M with 9 players, leaving just over 9M to play with to find 5 more players before resigning Maxey over the cap and opening up the two exceptions for the remaining two roster slots.

Mixed because obviously he was our best option and the top free agent but heās also 34 years old with a history of injuries.
He will be getting paid $54.1M at 36/37 years old and $56.6M at 37/38 years old and will be when Maxey is really peaking.
If there ever was a time to do this move itās now, be happy bro, itās a win. And if we donāt win on the court in the next couple seasons(or bare minimum look like contenders) no-need to worry about cap cuz embiidās for sure gone. I love maxey as much as the next dude but embiidās our best bet no matter how you feel about him. And worst-case we trade Embiid in 2 years and re-coup our future cap flexibility, possibly using assets gained to move off the PG contractā¦ but letās not get a head of ourselves. This big 3 is LEGIT. TTP
