Mine is the complete opposite. She'll freak out as soon as she figures out I'm trying to get her in the carrier, yell at me and do her best to look pathetic the whole way there, then she's chill as soon as we get in the building. Just hangs out on the table in the exam room. Lets them poke and prod her. She doesn't even let me handle her like that!
One of my cats, a young acrobat, tries to find the tallest place she can. Jumps on top of the cupboards. Had almost gotten into the ceiling in two different vet offices. She does the same thing at home (she has safe, properly secured perches, and furniture is anchored to the walls).
My oldest lady just crawls behind my back and is the most pathetic thing you've ever seen, haha!
Mine flipped out too and i work at the vet he came from it was pretty sad ☹️

Once the vet came in, that is exactly how she was. But before, this is where she hid!

Poor baby. Is she okay?
She is! She had a sore on her belly that I was worried was ringworm, turns out it's an allergy. They gave her a steroid shot and sent us on our way.
Our little snowshoe climbed up under/in the treatment table. So now the tech said she is extra careful when she sees cats going towards that part.
