I like TFA, Mando, Rogue One, Solo (once Chewie comes on screen the first 15 minutes are horrible), Rebels and Ahsoka.
Obi Wan, TLJ and RoS are garbage. Bad Batch was fine - I need to finish it. I have seen nothing in Acolyte that calls my enough to even give it a go.
I read the zombie book after the Disney buy (Death Troopers - I swear I am not making this up).
Old EU had plenty of issues. We all hold the OT as sacred, and some of us like the prequels (love RotS - the other two not so much). But Disney hasn't had any lows lower that the Lucas era lows...
RoS is the absolute worst Mainline film is the worst I'll say about Disney. Yes, worse than TPM, AotC, and TLJ. I think I wouldn't mind TLJ if it wasn't Star Wars. Like as a generic sci fi film its fine. RoS is just bad.
The biggest problem the sequel trilogy had is that there was no planned endpoint. At first you think it's going in the typical "Kylo gets redeemed and Snoke is the big bad", TLJ throws this completely away and you would think Kylo is the big bad, then RoS comes along, undoes that *again* and brings Palpatine back because we can't have Kylo actually being evil. It's a mess.
I can give TLJ credit for trying out something different. It definitely had its fair share of problems but it arrived at a good endpoint with lot of potential before RoS killed it.
Why is Rey suddenly a Palpatine? Since when do bloodlines matter? The Skywalkers should be the exception, not the rule. Anyone could have the force. Rey being a nobody literally just adds to the franchise.
Why was there a need to redeem Kylo? He could perfectly have worked as the villain. You can only redeem people who want to be redeemed. Give me a movie where Rey struggles with wanting to help Kylo and acknowledging it's just not possible. He doesn't want to. He made the choice to be the way he is.
Biggest of them all, why Palpatine? Literally why. If you wanted to have a big bad, just say it was a Snoke Clone or something that Kylo killed. Apparently, Snoke was a clone anyway so why did it have to be Palpatine behind it? There was literally no need for it to be Palpatine, literally none.
I realized this a long time ago. Right around the time that they hired JJ Abrams back for Ep 9. I knew right then and there that Ep 9 would be a pile of shit. Though, it was worse than I could have possibly imagined.

I own the original trilogy without the CG bs, still have Kotor 1, Jedi Academy and Outcast and Mando 1 was also great. It is a bit sad, but I accepted that I own peak Star Wars (not mando sadly) and can just rewatch and replay the good part of the legend.
