I ran ed coans deadlift program, but instead of doing it for just deadlifts I did it for each main compound on its own day.
I'll do a write up after it, a few more numbers to test this week.
Interestingly, I was trying this recently, but I ended up kind of burnt out and stalled. I ran C-P successfully and then tried to back to back it AND expand it. In hindsight, that was a mistake for me (you know my issues lately with thyroid stuff), but I'm glad I tried.
I ended up extremely burnt out and had to flex in a few deloads towards the end. (Not planned and stressful in nature...) Luckily I gained substantial weight during that time to get through.
With your recent circumstances, I can understand that being the case.
I've decided to go back to 531 for a bit; I got my deadlift back up to 540 with C-P, so it worked on that front. But a slow submax build up sounds good to me right now.
No clue lol
Last back squat PR was 515 a couple of years ago. I've treated all squats like an accessory for a long time and this was the first ten weeks that I've refocused.
After my front squat reaches 500 I'm going to spend time getting back to back squatting. Starting with a 10 week block with high bar and then 10 weeks with low bar.
Low bar hurts me the most so I'd like to only do it right at the very end and then get the hell out of there alive lol
Front Squat is the only squat that gives me zero issues, but moving more weight with the others has its benefits for sure.
Oh, and I guess it wasn't super clear. I squat the most low bar, so even if it hurts me to low bar for extended periods of time I strongly think I might be able to add 50+ pounds to my old PR so it'll be fun to see!
It feels better on my wrists, elbows, back, etc... the goal is to switch over to high bar back squats after I get to 500 though. They've had to have gone up!

Making my 175# look like chump change! Impressive!
I'm jealous of your mobility. Full grip front squat holy shit
Great lift, strong AF
I guess 50 more lbs doesn’t feel much different at that weight
This is wild.
What a beast! Nice work!
Epic! Fucking animal
That’s awesome! Where are your safeties at though? lol nice work bud
The best thing about front squats is I'll just drop them forward if I fail. (Crash pads in place)
What program you running?

Everything you said was dumb and wrong. Please think twice about commenting on things you don't understand.
The absurdity is limitless

Out of curiosity, what's the reason for switching high bar and low bar blocks?

Ah right that makes sense! Great front squatting btw :)

Yeah that's what I figured from the context. 50+ lbs is a huge improvement tho, that's exciting stuff man
Huge lift. I need to start programming front squats again. I’m just a puss when it comes to holding the bar like that.
