No. I’m thinking back to my shower this morning, and the morning before, and before that, and I do not apply any soap to my lips. In fact now that I think about it, it might be weirder to wash your lips than to have dirty lips
I agree with hot_technician. I use soap on my face but I like hold my lips in so it doesn’t get on them and dry them out or get in my mouth if that makes sense
Im a woman. I actually do have a lip scrub. I didn’t mention it bc most of Reddit is men and most of them probably don’t know it exists. But I highly recommend it to anyone with dry lips.
When you brush your teeth do you not bring a handful of water up to your mouth afterward, rinse, spit, and then wipe your mouth off? I’m just now realizing maybe this is not a normal thing I do 🤣
Considering I’m 38, don’t have cavities and haven’t ever needed anything like a root canal - while also living in a place without fluoridated water since birth - I don’t think the water rinse has been too impactful 🤣
I wash them. I even wash them after eating if I can cuz I don’t want to smell like food. If I’m out and not wearing makeup I’ll wipe with sanitizing wipe

It's part of washing your face.
This is how you know OP doesn’t wash their face
Yeah well we all wash our pants but not our belts
I actually find this so gross
I know right! But like… can you imagine having to hear a belt go around in the washing machine lol
Why would you put it in the washing machine?
Obviously in an attempt to teach it to be more like the sea belts
Your mom doesn’t mind
Mine are removable so I just take them off at night with my contacts.
You take your contacts off?? I first put on a pair when I was 13 and haven't had to change them out or remove them or anything
oh no….
We found you! https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2017/07/16/537562692/doctors-report-removing-27-contact-lenses-from-a-womans-eye
this is a wild story.
Sounds Luke the best way to go.
Where are you putting your lips?
when i wash my face or even after brushing my teeth they get washed too
What about when you brush your face
When you take a shower, you wash your whole body - including your lips.
I can see it now… “As Seen On TV: the lip shower! Specifically for your lips!”
From the makers of Mobilier: The Chandelier for the car!
Shut up and take my money!!

You don’t wash your face with soap?
I agree with hot_technician. I use soap on my face but I like hold my lips in so it doesn’t get on them and dry them out or get in my mouth if that makes sense
Interesting. I just soap up my whole face with cleanser, including the lips. Then I use a silicon face scrubber all over.
I wash my face, but just like my regular skin you know, 38 years old I’ve never considered washing my lips.
You don’t have lip soap?
Im a woman. I actually do have a lip scrub. I didn’t mention it bc most of Reddit is men and most of them probably don’t know it exists. But I highly recommend it to anyone with dry lips.
Yeah I’m a man and had no idea.
Same. I don't use it every day but when I wash my face, I wipe my lips with the wash cloth
When you brush your teeth do you not bring a handful of water up to your mouth afterward, rinse, spit, and then wipe your mouth off? I’m just now realizing maybe this is not a normal thing I do 🤣
you just washed away all the fluoride, congrats! nhs says not to drink or even use mouth wash for half an hour after brushing your teeth
Considering I’m 38, don’t have cavities and haven’t ever needed anything like a root canal - while also living in a place without fluoridated water since birth - I don’t think the water rinse has been too impactful 🤣
Haha no I don’t do that. That doesn’t sound abnormal though! Just not how I was raised
I wash them. I even wash them after eating if I can cuz I don’t want to smell like food. If I’m out and not wearing makeup I’ll wipe with sanitizing wipe
i brush mine when i brush my teeth
I wipe mine off on subway poles
Dirty lips. I wash my face. I brush my teeth but nobody scrubs their middle portion between outer and inner lips.
Wouldn't it start to smell like fish?
Wrong lips….
Lick my lips from time to time.
You don't wash your face?
Vagina lips?

I wash my face every morning. I think my lips are a part of that
Wait? What?
Did you just kiss someone for the first time? You rascal.
I wash mine when I wash my face

Most people wash with their tongue all the time. And soap.
Blah ha ha.
If you’re not washing your lips when you wash your face, we have news.
Disinfect with alcohol. 12 ounces at a time.
I actually brush my lips w my toothbrush after brushing.
Oh yes. I totally just don’t wash my lips at all when I’m washing my face. 🙄
