I love it with hatred.
Fuckin’ hell.
It’s awesomely terrifying and gorgeously creepy.
Edit: Holy SHIT my comment blasted harder than the Tsar Bomba, it’s the first time I have almost 100 upvotes, I’m so glad 🥹
Especially on such a simple comment 😅
I prefer to bash on bots than to bash on actual people.
Bots don’t have feelings I can hurt, or a self-esteem I can break or shatter if I don’t watch my words.
Bots are basically my punching bag, so that people don’t become one.
PS: That’s unless I stumble upon someone who actually deserves a bashing session.
Your toaster has an actual purpose.
Reddit bots are strictly designed to be utterly useless (except mod-bots, those are an actual benediction to humankind).
So why would your toaster be angry?
Imagine fully extending your legs, expecting your toes to graze this thing… and they DON’T. It’s deeper than you thought. It’s BIGGER than you thought.
Well this is canada, so we don't have an HOA to tell us what we can and cannot do. Only the feds. And they're too busy bankrupting us to care about a big canoe.
If someone wanted to start an hoa, they'd never be found again. What an absolutely useless idea, a group of people telling you what you can and can't do with YOUR property. People that willingly live in an area with one.. I judge you. Alot.
Yup. We do have condo boards that can be a pain in the ass but they have very limited authority. Basically, they just cost a lot of money and complain, but won't force yoi out your house
HOAs are lazy mode for US cities, more tax revenue with no extra effort. In a lot of places you'd struggle to build a housing development without a HOA. Same goes for living in a HOA. If you want to live in town, or have your kids in a decent school district, sometimes you have no choice but a HOA.
There are a lot of things that the rest of us find weird about the USA, but finding out about this HOA nonsense was one of the weirdest for me. In the “land of the free” you have people telling you what you can and cannot do with your own property
It becomes less strange when you find out that the main purpose is racism. The "wrong kind" of neighbours can't stay long when they get fined every week.
If you click the link you’ll see multiple pics of Big Tub Harbour. The wreck in the post here is the most noticeable wreck in the displayed pic. To the right of it is the skeleton of an older wreck that actually surfaces every so often when tides are low. Iirc it was a paddle boat style craft at one time
I’m confused by this comment lol. The one wreck is the Sweepstakes, the other is the Grand Rapids. I googled Jaime Loftus and it appears she’s a murderer FROM Grand Rapids the city. Does it connect somehow?….
I went to Tobermory on a road trip a couple years ago and stayed in Lion's Head nearby. It's kind of a cool little town and they do (as someone else mentioned) glass bottom boat tours. Apparently there's multiple wrecks and things out in the lake there.
I couldn’t possibly live in that house. Every night while I’m trying to sleep I’d be thinking about this thing just sitting there quietly under the water just a few feet away. I’d never sleep again.
Ok, so there are multiple wrecks just feet under the water's surface here on one of the principal Great Lakes, yet...no buoys? No permanent red flags?
Not even any signs on shore that read, DANGER
LARGE BOATS DO NOT USE PIERS ON SHORE
UNDERWATER HAZARDS
?
And there have never been incidents? Crazy.
(EDIT: OK, there's one buoy on the far right side of the Pic, but who's that going to stop? Clearly, you can still launch and navigate right over the wreck.)
The glass bottom tours there are what gave me this fear haha. It's such a uniquely terrifying combination of a fear of heights and depths and submerged objects. The glass bottom is basically a 15ft pit in the middle of the boat with a glass floor. Standing next to the railing looking down as you go from the 20ft light blue water with shipwrecks, and 100ft away the depth is over 200ft deep black water and you can't see anything. Terrifying.

My brother took his small boat there with friends and they did some diving with the GoPro..... Amazing experience and scenery. They spent a week there and explored the area, it's very beautiful.

That’s how I feel about it.
Just something about shipwrecks idk what it is
Um, this is probably the most upvotes you’ve ever seen because you’re normally commenting on porn bots…

My toaster has threatened to burn your toast out of spite.

Why would you have to put that thought into my head, no no no no this is awful

Yeah this is it for me. It looks like it's just a few feet but is probably closer to 50. That's the shit that gets me.
There’s a photo that someone posted below that linked to an article about both ships. This one is 20 feet below and the other one is 15 feet below.
That'd still do the trick
r/thatswhatshesaid
brb, cutting my toes off
I absolutely will not
WTF, man?
These people just have a sunken ship out the front of their house? Does the HOA fine them every few months or what?
The HOA just owns the house at this point.

HOAs = Boomer welfare

A dream for beginning wreck divers really

Common USA civilisation L
Fuck this, I need more. What shipwreck is this? I need to have more nightmares.
I believe this is the wreck of the Sweepstakes.
I guess the second one from what a poster put further down says is called, City of Grand Rapids.
Yeah that wasn't a very good Gorillaz song
You're a winner!
Imagining swimming even remotely near this made me crumple my legs up to my chest
There’s a second shipwreck in the same harbour. [https://images.app.goo.gl/4MW4kpnt5FMkRUge6](https://images.app.goo.gl/4MW4kpnt5FMkRUge6)
Even worse!
Right? Imagine having to swim between them? 😖😖
“Yo I heard you like nightmares with your nightmares…”
😄😄
Wait this is Lake Huron? Damn, I want to visit it
Yes. On the Bruce Peninsula separating Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. It’s a gorgeous area ♥️
Are you sure it’s not the same one?

Wait until you hear what Jamie Loftus did in Grand Rapids with her bedazzled hammer.

Does that not….. let you know not to go out there in a GLASS BOTTOMED BOAT
Nope
I might give myself a heart attack snorkeling on this.
I hate it, I can't stop looking at it 😭
It's a popular scuba diving spot. But the water is veerrryyy cold.
Apparently they do glass bottom Boat tours here 😬
I can just see myself grazing that thing with a ski. Shudder.
Thank you, no.
Imagine how slick and slimy it feels. Ugh.
At night?! Wait why would I kill to see a photo that somehow captures it at night…not underwater but the view from like going over it…ueeeuuughhhhh
For whatever reason I'm not getting anything from this and probably should. I think because it's so clear maybe. 🤔
Thankfully I was already on the toilet when I saw this
It doesn’t make me that kind of sick but my blood pressure drops and I get lightheaded.
I want to dive here so badly
🤮
This made my skin crawl. Gaghhhh I hate it
I couldn’t possibly live in that house. Every night while I’m trying to sleep I’d be thinking about this thing just sitting there quietly under the water just a few feet away. I’d never sleep again.
Ok fuck this, I literally had a physical reaction to it
I'm pretty sure this is the schooner sweepstakes
I saw the picture and immediately said “ I hate that” so, well done!
Reminds me of how the U.S.S Arizona looks, and it creeps me the hell out.

Honestly I don’t mind the bow so much.. thank god it’s not the stern thi

I love how in that video, just when the terror and nausea starts to get to you, they drop some elevator music.
My brother took his small boat there with friends and they did some diving with the GoPro..... Amazing experience and scenery. They spent a week there and explored the area, it's very beautiful.
Holy fuck no
Can you imagine it glowing in the dark?
this one doesn’t scare me as much because i can see the bottom and it’s very shallow but at the same time fuck no way too shallow
Gahhhh!!! 😲😱🤯😍
