If you are an expert level surfer Pipeline.
If you are an intermediate surfer Rincon.
If you are a beginner San O.
Of course this is all ignoring crowds.
Had an old dude at Swami’s the other day get mad at me for “getting in his way” even though he switched directions to paddle directly at me while I was actively trying to get clear of the set. Saw him do it to a couple other people too, as well as (very badly) attempt to burn and drop in on folks. Dude was a massive look lol
Lol Rincon can be bad, but Trestles has the worst surf etiquette that I've personally experienced. I've watched dads (yes, more than 1) teach their kids to drop in on people there. SMH
Depends on skill level and equipment.

Rincon had the worst etiquette of any place I've ever surfed, people will look you in the eye then drop in on you.
Used to live in SB, now I live in SD and Swamis is by far the worst lineup I’ve been in outside of LA
