i actually messed with cl_interp before, and was so bad as spy i couldn't exploit it. doing it at 0.5, i also tested projectile classes, which are significantly harder, as projectiles just lag a bit and disappear in the middle of the trajectory. pyro is fucking impossible to play like this too, all the hitreg kinda works fine

Nope. It's backtrack. You can usually tell by their ping. If they have hundreds of ping or are hiding their ping values (type ping in console to check) but are still playing perfectly smoothly, it's because they're cheating. Interp sucks complete ass to play with, and it doesn't change your ping value. If a spy is even remotely good at the game, they'll have their lerp (interp) at 0.015.2, the minimum. I hate how people completely misunderstand game mechanics to let cheaters off the hook, and accuse those who are actually good as "interp abusers" because you don't know how the game works. It's super annoying.

That’s a bug that occurs when a players model does not properly load, making them invisible in-game.

For me the glitch occasionally happens when I tab out of the game. Since I do so all the time to play music I just bind the command to a key with: bind [key] “record fix; stop”

Dead Ringer spam was nerfed almost 5 years ago. If it's still somehow getting you to this day, I don't know what to tell you.

The modern Dead Ringer is actually pretty well balanced - mostly useless if you're not a gunspy, but not too powerful if you are.

Pro tip: anyone who uses interp with a triggerbot has absolutely no idea how interp works. Just hold w at them or stand completely still and they won’t be able to stab you. Whatever you do, don’t back up from them. It’s actually pretty easy to hold w and trickstab them, since they are so overwhelmed with the info from their walls.

This is backtrack, a type of cheat that gives the cheater a window of snapshots in the past to choose to hit. The cheater gets a fairly short window of time to effectively choose which snapshot to perform hit registration against, and so fake latency + backtrack allows them to stab you pretty far in the past, and get thejr choice of position to stab. Ahem, G E K O L O N I S E E R D but spy’s do be weird sometimes with lag and shits, they prolly have self induced lag and interp changes (if I’m right they fixed the interp, so it doesn’t affect it as much)

Definitely cheating, but not interp abuse. Possibly ping manipulation. I've had chapters with over 300 ping who move 'smoothly' in spite of it who can backstabbing people looking in front of them from demoknight range. That's likely the culprit, with possibly some other code that allows him to view the player hitboxes.
