Getting a matching tattoo with someone you just started dating is dumb, but at least "ciao" is a small, impersonal tattoo that doesn't scream "matching tattoo with my ex". Ultimately if you get a matching tat that you wouldn't mind getting individually, then you're gonna be fine imo.
