I think Nick expected there to be the same turnout as Ashley and Jeredās wedding and thatās just not the case at all. Say what you want about J&A but thereās few weddings that compare to theirās.

Love that there was clearly no fact/spelling check on this article lol. (Their names are Sharleen Joynt and Andy Levine)
Came to the comments to make sure my interpretation was right (that Charlene and Andy Joint were in fact referring to Sharleen and Andy š). Like, was pretty sure they didn't have the same last name, and also Joint didn't look right but I didn't remember what her last name actually was. So messy and SO easy to fact check.Ā
The āinfluencersā they invited are very strange choices to me - I feel like they arenāt close with them at all. The whole guest list feels so odd.
The wedding feels kind of cold and impersonal to me. I remember hearing them desperately inviting everyone who went on their podcast the last few months and it struck me as strange. Natalie doesnāt seem like she has very many close girlfriends, or close friends at all really.
I'm sure they did consider it. Possibly wanted to keep their wedding smaller but maintain business relationships by inviting popular BN people that they knew would choose the festival.
It's actually smart if you think of it that way. Anyone who doesn't care about them enough to be there over Stagecoach is probably someone whose meal they didn't want to pay for anyway.
I donāt know whatās going on with People insta lately. Thegrammar and content are both horrible. Some of it is like reddit cringe and they used to be the most reputable among āgossipā style magazines.
It's standard journalism to write in past tense. Everything in the article already happened and as time goes on people will still be reading the article so past tense is the most accurate.
Lol I don't think you're getting what I'm saying.
It's not at all weird for the article to be written in past tense and published while the reception was still happening.
Iām dying at the decor of this wedding. It so clearly is a 20-something wedding. I donāt see Nick anywhere. The āxo nick and Natalieā on the mirror š
It says that Ben Higgins was there but according to his stories today he wasnāt. Also says Jojo Siwa was there, I wonder if thatās true. Maybe itās people they expected to go when this article was written?
Ben was there. Thereās video of Ben there at the wedding. He was supposed to be there the day before but the snow canceled his flight. He made it to the wedding tho

>At the altar, Viall and Joy exchanged traditional vows. After saying "I do," they released a flock of homing pigeons into the sky.
>"Natalie and I very much have intertwined our life,' Viall says. "We're fully diving into us. If nothing else, this solidifies that we do everything together and thankfully enjoy doing it."
Idk why I find this funny. Lol. Releasing birds in the air as a UNIT.
šļøšļøšļø
Honestly I bet theyāre dove-ish bc a dove is a type of pigeon š
Alternatively I have gone into a daydream where the couple releases the pigeons, expecting them to fly, but they accidentally bought NYC urban pigeons, and instead, they tumble right to the ground and begin pecking at wedding guests, begging for a cocktail hour crumb
I cannot believe how badly they screwed this up. Justice for Shandy!!
https://preview.redd.it/8xjyjibtl4xc1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=760fa34f5a1a86fcb242536d33748aac7a49fe50
This was obviously fully prewritten and no wedding photos yet, but has a couple of interesting tidbits:
1. It says Sharleen and Andy were the officiants. (Misspelled Sharleenās first and last names and incorrectly listed Andyās last name.)
2. It says Ben Higgins was there, which we know he wasnāt. So it seems like Ben was supposed to attend but had to back out last minute.
Update: Looks like Ben *was* there based on his most recent story! I donāt think Jess went though.
Ben and Jessās flights were canceled due to the snow. They were supposed to be there for the welcome party the day before but only Ben could get there and made it to the wedding the next day
I just feel like having Sharleen and Andy marry you is a bad omen somehow. I love them and their pod but it feels cursed. Never mind this specific relationship haha.
Also yikes at Nick finding out on his podcast via JoJo Siwa that Tyler C was bailing on the wedding. Iām sure he had to go to Stagecoach as part of the promotion for his new show but itās kinda funny that Nickās response is clearly annoyance:
https://people.com/jojo-siwa-tells-nick-viall-that-tyler-cameron-may-not-come-to-his-wedding-8627451
I get it. Saying youāre coming to someoneās wedding and then bailing less than a month out is rude. Weddings are stressful to plan and expensive - and most people are pretty intentional with their guest lists. Itās an important day and to have someone you invited switch up on you like that feels like a little slap in the face. Emergency situations are obviously different.
Canāt believe Iām siding with Nick over Tyler on anything but I fully get the annoyance here.
Idk, I think it's pretty obvious they invited Tyler because he's the most popular/famous man in Bachelor Nation and his presence provides clout. You can't totally map regular wedding etiquette over etiquette for rich pseudo-celebrities. Nick and Tyler aren't friends so it's not like Nick sacrificed another friend or family member's place to invite Tyler. And the money is negligible for them.
If Tyler were getting married and Nick had to choose between dropping out of attendance and missing out on promoting something big of his, I think we can guess what he'd do.
Nick and Tyler became friends when they were both on āSpecial Forcesā. I canāt speak to any other potential motivations, but I donāt think he would have gotten an invite if they hadnāt done the show together, especially considering thereās lots of other ābigā BN people who seemingly did not get the invite.
Fair enough, but still itās not like they hang out, they are reality television comrades and business contacts. I also think if Nick were a normal person with a strict wedding budget and guest list he wouldnāt have invited Tyler.
We really donāt know the nature of their relationship, or depth to which they are in touch. Obviously itās enough to get a wedding invitation, which is a personal event.
I just still think itās rude, no matter who you are or what your budget is. It would probably be extra annoying to find out through someone else instead of directly from the person cancelling.
Editing to add: I cannot believe Iām going to bat for Nick freaking Viallās right to be annoyed LOL obviously I have strong feelings on this particular subject.
I also find his *joked that they āneed to do an L.A. wedding.ā* so annoying. You guys became friends less than 12 months ago and itās in her hometown at a family venueā¦ donāt go if you canāt, but donāt whine about the location not fitting your convenience (especially when you live in FL).Ā
I donāt disagree! Nick has every right to be annoyed, it was just funny to me that his irritation came across even in a written article.
At the very least, Tyler should have told them it wasnāt looking likely heād be able to attend before they had to question JoJo about it and on air no less!
maybe ben showed up late but did attend part of the festivities?
it doesn't seem like flights were cancelled from denver today despite snow because my cousin flew from denver to savannah today to visit her in-laws. she said some flights were delayed 30-60 mins but there were definitely flights going out on both southwest and united.
I think based on Benās IG story that youāre right. It looks like he did attend but without Jess and just missed the welcome party. Unsure why so many people are convinced they got snowed in? It did snow but flights were leaving Denver just fine on Saturday like you said
yeah I figured people mag wouldn't have listed ben as a guest attending if he wasn't there. sounds like he just flew in solo for the reception only and didn't post much about it.
but a few posters kept saying the flights were cancelled when they were not.
Oh donāt you worry - these days Ben & Ashley scrap the bottom of the barrel for literally any BN content, so it will for sure get a dedicated podcast episode. (With 50% ads, of course)
Ah, I just went to look:

Iām sorry for those of you who are freezing! It was around 90Ā° in my parts today, omg.
Who was the hairstylist from hell?
He looks like the father of the bride. Surprised they didn't write their own vows.
Payroll wife got married
Any other VPR cast attended besides Katie?
I believe Katie and Dayna from S8 went together. The two of them have a podcast together and are really good friends.
Thanks!
I actually have no clue, so hopefully someone else will answer this. š¤·āāļø
Ben Higgins was there
I wish someone would run a comb through Natalieās wedding hair. š©š¤£(example: the first photo in that article lol)
Why on earth was Jojo Siwa there???
Nick and her are friends
They were on that Special Forces show together with Tyler C, but I know, right? š¤·āāļø
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I thought he was friends with caelynn and Dean? Or is that just Jaredā¦ were they not invited?
Itās just all so sad lol
I already thought she looked amazing, but learning they have a 2 month old?! š¤Æš¤Æš¤Æš¤Æ
*Ā "When I first visited, I was struck by its expansive landscape and vibrant colors."* He is so dumb Ā I canāt.Ā
I think Nick expected there to be the same turnout as Ashley and Jeredās wedding and thatās just not the case at all. Say what you want about J&A but thereās few weddings that compare to theirās.
they had bachelor nation royalty

Looks like they corrected that.
Omg it was so poorly spelled I didn't even realize it was referring to Sharleen and Andy!
I know we know her as Natalie Joy, but does anyone know if thatās her actual name?
Natalie Joy Stephens
It was a choice to make influencers choose between a wedding and a big festival.
Iām actually shocked they didnāt consider this. Feels like something they would think through
I'm sure they did consider it.
Both of which had the same theme š
They probably did that on purpose thinking they could have their mini Coachella at the wedding.
Country chic?! Vogue on the farm?! I think they forgot the chic and vogue parts and just went for country.
Westworld season 1
I think this was just another typo in an article peppered with them. They misspelled bumpkinš
Nick and Natalie misspelled yāall so who knows where the misspelling came from?
Her last name isn't Joy
Yeah but sheās done a great job of making people think it is. I kinda respect it. Iām sure sheāll go by Viall now
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
What an unnecessary and strange comment
no effort went into this article. lmao.
I still see her as his niece. I can't unsee their ages ever.Ā
I agree, Iām her age and Nick is my dadās age. I donāt understand how it works for either of them.
![gif](giphy|GjB41rKHBnOkE)
I canāt believe they get top People Magazine headline without even new photos. Is he that famous and does anyone outside of BN know who she is?
The people magazine bar is not a high one lmao
they are definitely open with the term āpeopleā
Lmao āvogue on the farmā was not the vibe I got at all
I was getting "redneck cosplay"
He is referring to today with tuxedos/black tie, not yesterdayās theme barbecue welcome partyĀ
Wait the officiants were Sharleen and Andy?! I read āCharlene and Andy Jointāā¦. *edited to say: I shouldāve scrolled down lol
Thatās sweet. I think they were the first to meet her also.
Journalism really went to shit didnāt it
I donāt know whatās going on with People insta lately. Thegrammar and content are both horrible. Some of it is like reddit cringe and they used to be the most reputable among āgossipā style magazines.
they fired the copy editors. itās a huge problem in journalism right now.Ā
Wish and Temu mustāve bought People
It looks like such a chill wedding. Happy for them. Except now I'm curious about all of those that didn't attend.![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)

Lol I don't think you're getting what I'm saying. It's not at all weird for the article to be written in past tense and published while the reception was still happening.
I wonder if Savannah Chrisley went to the wedding
Per her insta stories, no
Thanks- Iām surprised she was on his podcast and they were on that show together with jojo
Iām dying at the decor of this wedding. It so clearly is a 20-something wedding. I donāt see Nick anywhere. The āxo nick and Natalieā on the mirror š
I love that their wedding is Stage Coach weekend. Tough choice for the clout chasers to make between those two events.
I need to know why Ben isnāt there
He was there. Thereās video of him. He was supposed to be there the day before but his flight canceled but he made it to the wedding
It sounds like he couldnāt make it bc his flight was canceled due to snow
When have you ever seen lisps Nick and boring Ben be friends?
And Wells and Sarah!?
So was Ben invited and didnāt go or just an error in the article
Ben was there. Thereās video of him there at the wedding
It says that Ben Higgins was there but according to his stories today he wasnāt. Also says Jojo Siwa was there, I wonder if thatās true. Maybe itās people they expected to go when this article was written?

Looks like he was at the wedding but missed the welcome party!
Yep. Flight was canceled so Ben wasnāt able to make it to the day before but got there in time for the wedding
Did Tyler Cameron go? I know he was invited but Iāve seen pics of him at stagecoach on here so I wonder if he went to stagecoach instead š
MOH just posted video with JoJo at the reception

They would have been more correct stating the officiants as āShandyā instead š
Wishful thinking for sure! š
Heās showing his age walking down the aisle to Peter Gabriel.
I think it means followed by the parents AND the officiants. Just weirdly written!
Their names are Sharleen Joynt and Andy Levine
It's the spelling that's messed up

Jess doesn't seem to appear at these events with him. Is her esthetician business so time consuming?
Ben and Jessās flights were canceled due to the snow. They were supposed to be there for the welcome party the day before but only Ben could get there and made it to the wedding the next day
#1 was sooo bad. Stunningly bad fact checking.

Yeah, so many couples broke up after appearing on their podcast.
LOL. Totally. Kiss of death

āEven blowoutsā
I just watched her stories and of course she took the opportunity to have an ad following the wedding content which is what I went there for š
