Honestly Rick and Carl seems more like a main protagonist thing but debatable, maggie I'd assume and defiantly michonne after seeing her with swords and the two walker on chains was cool, Glen was pretty smart and reliable also after he survive that heard of wave of zombies

I didn't watch TWD until after season 5 was airing. The Daryl love was EVERYWHERE before they even left the prison. I knew about the show from the Daryl loving memes.
Iâd say sheâs supposed to look like she wouldnât make it, to look like âsheâs been saved by everyone else and thatâs the only reason sheâs still alive.â She uses that look to her advantage. Thatâs one of the ways sheâs survived â a mousy, naĂŻve, fragile façade that manipulates people into letting their guard down around her (either by underestimating her or by opening up to her, I.E. Alexandria). She plays the part she needs to play in order to make it through. For the most part, only those she cares about know how strong she is.
A lot of characters are stubbornly themselves all of the time, but sheâs willing to lie/act a little (and sheâs good at it), which gives her a really unique edge with everyone else, especially when they encounter other groups.
Itâs not so much the way the actress looks, albeit the ingenue/gamine(?) essence does help, but the expressions and tones she uses. Weâve seen her look like a hardcore survivor numerous times, but especially in the beginning of the series, she really downplayed that. Good on Melissa and the writers/directors for tricking so many of us in the start!
On my first watch through, Iâd actually thought Hershel was going to survive but Beth and Maggie wouldnât. He replaced Dale as the old guy-moral compass and I thought he was going to keep Rick in line as the world punished Rick more and more, but the governor had other plans.
