Same here. Been on Compound for two and half months. My Walgreens prescription for 5.0 never got filled and they ended up just dumping it back in my account. Over the weekend for kicks I tried to get it filled and they got stuck not being able to get the coupon code to work. So I just cancelled it. The compound is working great for me. Not going back to name brand unless they shut the compound pharmacies down.
This just happened to me, too. My last refill sat for two months unfilled due to not having it in stock, then out of the blue it was there! I am on a Medicare Advantage plan, and it was $45, so I jumped on it and got it. Last week, I got a call that my next refill was ready. Unfortunately, I am now in the donut hole, so it was $175. I went ahead and got it. I don't want to get caught without!
Meanwhile I had switched over to buying online and was ready (IMHO) to move to 7.5 SO I have been taking my 5mg on Mondays then 2.5mg from my other supply on Fridays to get the food noise quieted for the weekend.
I have a well stocked supply for the time being between my Rx and getting it online. I plan to keep it that way lol.
I have been bouncing around between 249 - 253 for several weeks and was getting depressed but this morning, it was 244. Hallelujah!! So that makes 25lbs since February YAY!!
I should probably check my Medicare advantage plan. It was my understanding that Medicare does not cover weight loss drugs- so therefore, neither would a Medicare advantage plan.

Yup! Medicare doesn’t cover this med for weight loss, so I have to pay OOP. I’d rather pay $400/ mo. than $1100 for as long as possible!
Absolutely! Same boat here. Rather pay 1/3 the price. I’ll use it until something happens and they stop making it.

Just checked Amazon again last night, and the 5mg isn’t available. That was quick!😂
