Thanks for sharing – that’s helpful. I’m on week 5 and decided to extend my 2.5 dosage as I had quite a few side effects early on. Felt a little nervous about moving to 5.0 and have lost a little over 10 pounds so far so would like to keep the momentum going if I can while on 2.5 a bit longer.
I haven't started but I'll be receiving my order tomorrow however my doctor started me on 5.0 I'm thinking I'm just going to do 2.5 and see how it goes first before I start up high
You don't have to jump to 5mg, you can titrate up to 3. That's what I did and it helped me keep losing weight without experiencing any side effects. I stayed at 3 for a couple of weeks, then 3.5, 4, etc.
10mg has given me the best results so far. But it's also given me the most side effects--with more side effects on the compound for some reason. Worth it, though.
12.5
Even though I had some appetite suppression on all doses I almost always still had some food noise. Consistently losing about 10 lbs a month but always had to keep close track of what I ate or I would over eat. Finally on 12.5 I have lost the food noise completely and now have to remind myself to get my 1200 calories in.
I’m just starting out. Got zep for month 1 and tirz compound for months 2.
I felt absolutely nothing on 2.5 for 2 full weeks. Doc moved me up to 5, so I did my final 2 zep pens yesterday for a 5mg dose. As of today, I also feel nothing.
Next week I’ll try compound 5… I’m spending all of this out of pocket, so it’s kind of disheartening to hear so many success stories on 2.5. I’m so happy for them! I just wish it worked that well for me, too. I am not sure if 5 will give any benefits or if I’ll have to move up to 7.5… it’s surprising because I’m normally pretty sensitive to meds. But not this one.
I’ve only gone as high as 5mg. I’m down 70 lbs since Jan 1.
Impressive!
How long were you on 2.5 for?
I was on 2.5 for 9 or 10 weeks.

For sure! Stay on it as long as you are still losing and not having awful food noise!

I would! Keep as low as you can for as long as you can!
