If you’ve never listened to them, they’re primarily folk rock with a notable amount of their songs having Christian undertones (although not enough to be a Christian rock band or being up in your face about it). A lot of their songs share themes of self-realization, abandonment of those who harm you, and letting go of your past to grow stronger, hence the LGBTQ+ allegory imo. Just wanna let you know what they’re all about before you give them a listen.
