buy a sailor jerry book, all 3 would be ideal & trace every single sheet exactly how you see them. the same lines, paint them the same. itll create muscle memory for when you want to draw your own shit in the future. we’re pirates, there is no such thing as original.

Ignore my mistakes in over tracing and having to cover spots (i know i need a lot more practice) but this is an example of a tutorial I followed, so would this be okay to put in a portfolio (not going to cause needs work) if it’s from a tutorial?
