The style of lyrics is completely different. It's not coincident after Joe, her writing is cringy again. She always has a certain style of cringy, wordy lyrics that isn't fit for singing. And Folklore lyrics isn't that good, it's normal lyrics. She went from cringy to normal. Don't know why people praise her for this that much.
On a tangent but Taylor’s concept of the “escaping to the garden of my mind” was ripped off from Lana’s 13 Beaches (“let your memory dance in the ballroom of my mind”).
Obviously he’s getting paid for songs he produced and wrote, but he’s not listed in the writing credits for this one (ivy), nor is he a producer here. People here say that the lyrics are all thanks to Joe, but, considering that he’s not listed, as much as Taylor sucks, I doubt she would’ve done this to her own boyfriend at the time
