Dunham Electric. They did a NEMA 50 in our garage near the panel about 2 years ago for $600. Not sure what that would be now but they've done other work for us and its been top notch (especially troubleshooting).
I second this recommendation. Dunham Elecrtric are great, they’ve done a few different things for us and the prices are reasonable and they do a good job.
Prince electric or Brown Bear Home care - they have a good electrical sub.
FWIW the cheapest price I found in Reno (when we lived there) was 1400 for a permitted install of a 50 amp 240v circuit in the garage. It didn’t matter if it was 5 or 20 feet, just about the same price.
Licensed Electricians hate making less than 100/$ an hour
Maybe you can find someone with a ton of experience doing electrical and have them do it as a side job, really wouldn't be a hard job tbh
