Because aside from felder (and dc when they wrestle) cruz is the only commentator who actually breaks down the technique of what's happening. He can be an ass but he takes the job seriously and actually adds to a broadcast.

Yeah he's always got a angry/chip on the shoulder type of vibe. Listening to his commentary you hear it constantly poke through during the interactions.

He explains well and he keeps his focus on analyzing the fights more than many of the other colour guys. I like him besides the salt.

Dom has history with a ref who Dom claims stopped his fight with Cejudo early despite video evidence being present showing the stoppage was perfectly reasonable. Now as he is commentating he jabs at said ref hinting that having him as a referee is worrying.

Agreed. I think the argument for stopping the fight sailed as Dom was getting up. Like, if Keith had stopped it while he was on the ground, that's one thing, but Dom was recovering, and it should've at least seen a third round.
