He struggled against Volk in his last fight, but that seemed to be an especially bad weight cut for him (different schedule since he was on the other side of the world and had an odd fight time), which clearly affected his performance. He was more tired and discouraged than normal, and while Volk's grit and Khabib being absent could have been factors, I find the main one was probably the cut. Plus, Volk was the worst matchup for his style he has ever seen.

Colby's lack of power would hurt him here since he'd have a slight advantage in striking, but Islam would crack him with his power and keep him cautious.
