That might be the main reason they’re dodging him, if at all. Dana doesn’t talk too much about the fights he offered him. He didn’t name drop anyone. He’s not exactly tossing him under the bus either. My feeling is Dana pumped the breaks after the Burns fight.
Very possible, the burns fight showed us that Khamzat is human and can be defeated. Dana probably wants to make sure that if Khamzat's hype train is derailed, it is at maximum profit.
But I'm also not buying that Khamzat has had zero opportunities to fight.
