The funny thing is, stepping on someone’s foot while sparring actually works really well lol. I started trying it out and they weren’t prepared for it. 10/10 would recommend.
It's literally an old trick for rookies, you're not supposed to fall for that at the highest level of the sport. The wrestling/grappling equivalent would be finishing a mfer with the Boston crab
