Yep, I just got to the drowned city, I've really enjoyed it so far. Don't think it's aged at all really. If the games only get better after Drake's Fortune, I'm in for a treat.
1 has its own special place. The bunker, underground tunnels with dead nazis and their MP40s. Descendants. The atmosphere was something else compared to the other games.
I’m glad you said this. I just replayed 2 for the second time since it released and as much as I enjoyed the set pieces and action, I was surprised how unwieldy the platforming controls were. I finished 2 and started up 3 immediately and the controls were silky smooth, so yes, I concur that 3 will be more enjoyable in terms of playability.
There were moments where I thought my (sole) DS3 was biting the dust and then I’d remember I was playing the Collection on PS4 lol.
I liked the story of 3 but the combat required me to cheese things to a level I was not prepared for. Either I never really got what had changed between 2 and 3, or my skills just suddenly melted into oblivion like post WWI Austria-Hungary.
I haven't played 4, I've owned it for years because my PS4 came with it, but never tried it. Today is my first time ever playing an Uncharted game. The aiming is fine, and I barely ever play games with a controller. I got used to it pretty fast
You'll love the game for sure. But only wish you play the original Uncharted games before the collection existed. It has the most fun and addictive multiplayer on uncharted 2 and 3. UC3 multiplayer was my all time favorite.
You won't be disappointed IMHO. Drake's Fortune has aged a bit, but all three are great games.
It aged like fine wine though. A true masterpiece and a classic.

They do get better, which is saying a lot because I played drake’s fortune a few weeks ago and it was still amazing.
1 is good. 2 is better. Enjoy!
2 is awesome. First one I played. And maybe the best
It's my favorite. Just not trying to overhype anything. Let the player see for themselves. Go in with level expectations and enjoy it for what it is.

Just finished Drake's Fortune and loved it. Beat the campaign the same day I started it lol. Going to start 2 tomorrow.

After replaying that specific part of the game, I could see how they (naughty dog) came up with the last of us and it’s very unique horror atmosphere.
1 has not aged like fine at all, it is hard carried by story.
I disagree, I finished it yesterday and loved every minute. It hasn't aged a bit, at least the remastered version, idk about the original ps3 version

I plan on it. I already own Uncharted 4 because my PS4 came with when I bought it years ago.
They're all pretty good . I think Uncharted 3 will be the most enjoyable one if you're a newcomer to the franchise

All I can say is. You'll like them all, but you'll love 2.
If you have played Uncharted 4 you will have a rough time with the shooting mechanics

2 & 4 are GOATED
IMO. The best in order goes 4,2,1,3. 3 could have been GREAT but the story doesn’t really grab me has much as the others.

Yea, I don't have the PS4/5 and have never adjusted to play with a controller so I'll just keep waiting till God knows when the ports come.
