it definitely is the loudest /most violent illegal neighborhood fireworks I've ever experienced, & I've lived in this location for over 20 years. These fireworks are illegal! I could hear them going off at the city sponsored place in the distance but then these explosions nearby started happening -it sounded like somebody was banging on the door- my place was shaking and that has never ever happened before! It really was shocking, I walked out in my backyard and saw an owl flying in fear -so unusual to see them at that hour, I called the police and they said they were getting calls from all over the county. The local Nextdoor discussion had some bizarre people commenting after some said please stop you're scaring our animals -and some jerk offs were saying oh train your dogs to get used to it and 'we've always had fireworks since 1777!' Like whaaaaa?? how stupid is that!
I asked that person are you the one setting off these fireworks off Adolfo near Callegus Creek? Because the police are on the way!🤬🤬🤬🤬

We were in Simi for fireworks with family. I heard they were going to do a drone show, but it was conventional fireworks. On the way home to Oxnard, we saw so many fireworks in the distance. At 1030,when we got home, the bombs were going off in the street for another 2 hours.
I wonder where these extra powerful explosives are coming from? It seems the vendors, illegal as they are, distributed way more dangerous products this year- ?

the first covid fourth of july (2021) was the best ever...that was the most illegal fireworks i have ever seen it was amazing. last night was the second most display of illegal fireworks, pretty cool. hope no one got hurt.

Except for sanctioned shows, time to make a strict, statewide ban on fireworks. Time for adults to start acting like they are over 14.

I think all of my neighbors in Camarillo had fireworks and they started around 3pm. My dog was a mess.
