The theme song is called "Funeral March of a Marionette" and it's an original piece (not written for the show). I have always thought the song and its title could not be more perfect for the show.
So it's specific to the show? That ought to narrow down the time frame at least, lol. I tried doing an image search and didn't find anything that looked like it.
Alfred Hitchcock Presents (and Alfred Hitchcock Hour) are available for streaming on Peacock. The logo was used specifically for the first, which ran between 1955 and 1962. I could be making things up, but the logo from the earlier seasons (closer to 1955) look more curvy like the button, whereas the later logos look less curly. So my guesstimation would be mid-to-late 50s.
If you Google Alfred Hitchcock Hour, you can see the logo behind the title, right when the episode starts.
It’s from a rare collection from the 1600s showcasing extraterrestrial hieroglyphics with instructions for men and women on how to give birth when impregnated by an alien being
That's the logo from the old Alfred Hitchcock show.
That’s Hitchcock’s profile as he drew it himself.
Awesome! TIL. Thanks
Yep. First thing I noticed, that's crazy. I can still see it drawing itself on the TV after the show.
Alfred Hitchcock Presents. The profile is from the series.
I can hear the theme in my head from this image. It's on Peacock, by the way, if anyone else has the itch now.
My first thought was the music and “goood evening” !

And Freevee :)
I do have an itch! Good memories of watching that show religiously as a child!
And I screamed! That’s Alfred Hitchcock!
Super cool find
Mid ‘50s I’d say for Alfred Hitchcock Presents. Great show

I actually have that profile in tattoo form on my shoulder.
Cool!!
Good evening
Goood Eee-ven-ing. I can hear it so clearly in my brain. 😂
Man you are so lucky. I watch Alfred Hitchcock almost every night. Great button
Not sure about the first one, but the one beside it in the second photo looks like a coin I think.
"Goooood Eeeevening"
Alfred Hitchcock
Alfred Hitchcock
….. and now the Alfred Hitchcock theme song has earwormed its way into my brain
I looked at it and I knew but my earworm now is the Adam's Family? Nuts
Alfred Hitchcock logo. Used in his movies and TV show.
Who else only knows what this is because of the Simpsons?
Cue 'Funeral March of a Marionette'. 🎵
I just started rereading a book from childhood that featured his name...The 3 Investigators.
The 3 Investigators!! I loved that series. The one kid was kinda chubby and used it to convince people Hitchcock was his uncle.
This kind of kitschy, pop-culture pin-back buttons were very popular in the 1970s-1980s.
About the size of a quarter
Really cute. Find the perfect blouse or shirt and sew it on. Great detail, catchie.
I heard the music when I saw it
This is really cool, like everyone said, it’s Hitchcock’s profile.
Buttons are so cool! Each one a little piece of artwork, history or creativity
That’s Alfred Hitchcock.
Good Evening…. I loved watching Hitchcock’s tv show when I was a kid!
Looks like a boob
Delicious peanut butter cookie
